“Everyone is really friendly! The new menu is fantastic! Tonight, I had the best hummus and falafel that I’ve had in years! My husband had the Shish Tawook and I had the garlic shrimp. Both were perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The chicken (shish tawook) was amazing - so flavorful! You have to go to this place - you won’t regret it!“

“So we had the Candy/Ice Cream Truck as a fun addition to our Hanukkah Celebration. Booking the truck was super easy! Liz was on time and just so sweet! The variety of candies blew us all away! An absolute must to make your celebrations extra special. We will be using them again!“

“Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“Was looking for Mediterranean food for my wife and I on a casual evening out and we were not disappointed. Super friendly/helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere, and a wonderful selection of food. My wife and I got a bowl and we both loved it. If you are looking for a counter style Mediterranean place to eat this is a fantastic choice! All the food is made fresh. My wife ordered pita chips and falafel on the side and both were made fresh when we ordered. The pita chips were thick and super crispy. The falafel was incredibly moist too. Highly recommend!“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Food is fresh and presented wonderfully. A little on the high priced side. The price matches the ambiance though. You have to plan to spend when you go but will enjoy the experience completely.“

“First time I had Indian food was a few years ago in NC, and I was NOT impressed. We were up visiting my sister in Ridgewood and we went out for fathers day dinner at Tabla. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees and we shared them all. I was absolutely impressed. I totally enjoyed EVERY item. I especially liked the curry fish with coconut milk. The service was exceptional and very friendly, it was an entirely enjoyable experience. I heartily recommend this Indian Restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ.“

“This small business is just wonderful. The food is delicious, the bagels and sandwiches are so fresh and tasty and the bagels are large. I purchased here a few times via the TGTG app and purchased bagels and their delicious home made assorted flavor cream cheeses. Additionally, the owner Ernesto and his wife are so genuine, customer service focused and take pride in the products/service they provide to their clients and community. “I purchased a personalized gift for my son’s girlfriend who was running in a half marathon. My husband and I couldn’t be there to cheer her on. So we sent a personalized gift down to her with my son. When I asked if it was possible to make it that same day, the owner was beyond helpful. He made sure my pretzel was ready to pick up by the day’s end, recommended great dip choices, and even had a little extra dough left over to include 2 hearts. My son’s girlfriend LOVED her gift!! My son was able to enjoy an amazingly delicious birthday cake for the first time! She also created the most delicious cannoli filled cake for my guests! “I've been coming here for years and this place is always on point! One of the best local ramen spots in my opinion and VERY affordable for what you get! The staff are always very kind and attentive, and the service is pretty quick depending on how crowded it is. I just wish they stayed open later than 9pm on weekends! Definitely try to pay with cash if you want a free piece of mochi ice cream btw! We shared the pork gyoza for apps ($6.50), then I got the Miso ramen and he got the beef ramen ($12.50 each). You can adjust the level of spiciness too if you'd like, they go from no spicy to super spicy. I have been here a number of times and I always plan on coming back :)“

“Tried this new cafe on my way home. They have parking which is great since they are on a main road. The inside is super cute and def picture worthy. Service was good. Greeted upon entering and then made a great recommendation when I asked for one. I got the coconut latte and it was so good. If you like coconut this one is it for you! Sweet yet strong. Great value for the price especially in today’s economy. Will be coming back in the future to try other items. I also love that God is in their decor.“

“A nice little quaint mom and pop pho shop. The pho broth is different from the other bigger pho restaurant in the region and tastes just as good if not better. Parking is limited and a bit challenging. Need to be patient as the owner couple takes care of everything, from taking orders to cooking.“

“This place blew me away. The food was great and the portions are great too you’re paying for quality. On top of the great food you’re being greeted by amazing staff. My friend told me about this spot and before telling me anything about the food he told me about the people who work there. When I walked in I was treated as a friend not a customer I felt very welcomed. I could tell this staff member puts people first and respects everyone. “We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“
