“This is a wonderful place with a great vibe. A few weeks ago, we invited a bunch of friends to join us for dinner & celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed the delicious food & tapped our feet to the awesome music of a local band called The Fish Eyed Blues Band. We danced, ate, drank, & had a blast! Excellent, friendly service. Perfectly poured drinks with so many options to choose from. Although the menu is limited, the food was fresh & delicious. Our large group tried just about everything on the small menu but the picks that stood out were the Nachos with Chorizo, the Smash Burger with extras, the Ahi Tuna tacos (3) with Avocado, & the mouth watering, saucy Chicken Wings. We'll definitely be back very soon!!!“

“Probably my favorite family friendly restaurant in all of New Jersey. Never had a bad bite. Service is always above and beyond accommodating and friendly, especially with young children. Food is priced reasonably despite the massive inflation we're all going through. The seasonal chicken pot pie is something I look forward to getting every year. They always have delicious and fun new specials. Most recently I tried their Thanksgiving meatballs with cranberry mayo dipping sauce and I was incredibly impressed. This place is a 10 of 10 every time. Oh and it also has stunning sunset views. If I didn't live almost 40 minutes away I'd be there way more often.“

“I love buffalo chicken sandwiches and have gone as far as Philadelphia to get one. However, I recently tried a buffalo chicken sandwich at Nicholas. I was speechless…literally. My brain instantly went into survival mode trying to calculate how and why this sandwich was at least ten times better than any other buffalo chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Not even a close second place. Game changing. Life changing. It’s like I knew nothing about buffalo chicken a moment before taking a bite. I was humbled instantly. “On an ordinary day, we go here for beers and a burger with cottage fries and always have the best time. I have to mention this weekend specifically though because we had our wedding after party here. The owner, Kevin, is truly one of the nicest people and always provides service with a genuine smile. He is courteous and made all of our family and friends feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our evening. Even in the busiest moments, Kevin and staff managed to be accommodating and attentive. Cannot say enough enough about this place, the family and the staff. Wonderful!“

“When reviewing their menu, we saw Birria Tacos and were immediately committed. Upon arrival we were a little alarmed that there was nobody in the restaurant! There are 2 other attached venues by same owners which had customers. But the lack of patrons was a bit of a red flag.

Our service started out with our server, Austin, telling us the drinks we wanted from the on-line menu were no longer available. But they tried to make a smoked cocktail for us first and realized they were out of smoker chips. Our large party of 8 mostly ordered Margaritas, which were decent and discounted on Tuesdays.

We ordered food including Nachos, Quacamole, Quesabirria and Birria tacos, as well as fish tacos and al pastor. The food was fresh and excellent!

We had a visit from an owner/manager as well as the chef. The staff helped us get the Phillies game on the table-side TV.

Overall, the highlight of the night was definitely the Birria, whose consommé was rich, flavorful and not greasy like some. Also the cheese level on the tacos was perfect, the meat was tender and flavorful and the fresh cilantro really made it all pop.

The second best feature of our visit was definitely the service.

My phone battery died before I could get pics of food, but the space is cool.

Highly recommend.

Came here in the late afternoon with a group of people and got two tables with umbrellas luckily! We got drinks, got food from the food trucks, and chatted! Super fun atmosphere with the live music and of course being on the beach. It was nice to be able to walk around in the sand with no shoes.

We decided to drive from the city, but if you don’t have a car or want to drive, you can take the Seastreak ferry straight to the Sandbox! Which is super convenient and neat!

“Boyle's is an enduring neighborhood bar that has been in business for decades. It's unassuming and sits in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood. Don't let that deter you from visiting. The drinks are very good and the staff is consistently friendly and accommodating.“

“This place is a solid bar, I came here on a friday night for a little nite cap around midnight and overall I had a decent time. The bar is a no frills place with three sports tvs, a juke box, at least 15 seats by the bar and some other chairs around the rest of the place. There is also shuffle board and two darts with a scoreboard which is fun. They have a great beer menu from Blue Moon to Angry Orchard, Corona, White Claw, High noon, etc. for only 5 bucks [they have at least 8 beers on tap for only $5 too]. I also saw a lot of whiskey and vodka options if you wanted to do shots or mixed drink [$7 for a shot]. The problem is the shot glasses are so small, it doesn't resemble an ounce and a half which is standard size in other bars, I felt like the plastic cup they gave me reminded me of cough medicine sizes. The bartender was super nice and friendly, he talks with most patrons and makes sure the place doesn't get too rowdy. However my fiancé felt like he was fishing for tips when he would give you a 5 dollar bill back as change. When I came there was a girls birthday with her friends and she was able to put out sandwiches and catered food of her own. I kinda felt guilty invading her space but it was nice to see that the bar lets you do your own thing. The crowd seemed fairly mixed crowd when I came, from college frat boys to young girls in their 20's or groups of men in their 30s and 40s. I did feel it was a little crowded but that seemed more based on cliques then the space itself. In terms of food, they do sell chips nuts and a tombstone pizza but there isn't much space to eat unless you sit at the actual bar. I think if this place rearranged the furniture and had an outdoor backyard they could successfully have more dining. I would definitely come back here for another night cap or to watch a sports game.“

“This bar is exactly what your looking for. I don’t even know what else to say. I’ve never been there but I spoke to someone on the phone and had an A+ experience. My buddy Was hiding from his soon to be wife and they absolutely held their part. Can’t wait to go slam some beers!!“

“It’s a dive bar and they advertise it as such. So I had to give 5 stars for atmosphere. But the food is surprisingly good.(try their grilled cheese) The beer selection is also very good and they get some really good music in on weekends. Outside music during the warmer months is the best.“

“Just had a great St Patrick’s Day afternoon at the Tik Bar. Ribs smoked on site were the best ever. Meaty not fatty and done just right, full rack more than anyone could eat. Arugula salad was perfect and the olive oil they use is five star. 110 bartender was our server and he could not have been better. Thanks guys for an awesome time.“

M wife had the smash burger I had steak frites so tasty I’m going back real soon great prices! They were packed and bartenders didn’t miss a trick. The food and cocktails were delicious and everyone from the owner to the busboy was so sweet, fun, and helpful. “We wandered in here on St. Patrick’s Day even though the website said they were closed on Sundays. Speakeasy bar in a residential neighborhood with friendly bar maids and locals.To crowded to order food but, I definitely will be back to try the “eats”!Went back last night for “eats “ and had the thin crust pizza, if you’re a fan of this kind of pie as am I this is your place. They have a generous drink pour also. It is now in my regular monthly rotation!“

“I had dinner at Eventide last Saturday night. We were lucky enough to have Jack as our server. Not only was he incredibly attentive and anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them, but he was also so nice! He really is an asset to the restaurant. His demeanor is incredible, and his personality is charming and delightful. Food was great. We had fish tacos, salads and wings... We had such a nice night, it was only made better because we had Jack as our server. Oh, and they have live music outside! You never have to leave :) I highly recommend Eventide.“

“I went to the Robinson Ale House on June 29, 2024. Service was excellent. The waitress was wonderful. My husband and I had lunch. I had a T-bone steak special , he had meatloaf. They were excellent. We had key lime pie for dessert. Really good too. We were seated outside on the side because we needed shade. Planning another trip in August. I can’t wait to try the Drunken Clams this time if it’s still on their menu. I hope I get the same waitress. If they still have the T-bone on their daily special I recommend you get that. I had mine medium rare. Quite pricey but well worth it. The rest of the menu is moderately priced. Good generous sized portions. Definitely recommend. 5 stars“

Our guests could not say enough about how delicious the food was, how pretty the venue was, and what a great time they had.
