“We were there for my daughters birthday this past Saturday. My wife and my daughter's boyfriend had the seared salmon which they loved. My daughter had the chicken parm, which she said was good. Her only "complaint" was that the sauce was a bit too sweet for her taste, but the portion was good and the chicken was cooked well. My son enjoyed his pepperoni pizza. He's not very adventerous. I had the Capellini Napoletani. It was very good. The capellini was cooked perfectly for my taste as was the shrimp, clams and calamari. Very tender. The sauce was great. This is our go-to for great food and is my wife's favorite. She is returning with coworkers for lunch on Tuesday. Service is top notch. Keep up the good work. We'll definately be returning.“

“My favorite place in town to order pizza from, and get delivery at least once a week. The young staff who takes the orders and usually does the deliveries are very polite and respectful. Prices have been quite reasonable. Food arrives when expected, and without any errors to the order. Most importantly, ordering from Ridge makes for a predictably delicious meal, every time.“

The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

“Moved to the neighbourhood a couple of weeks back and were looking for a nice place to eat... we found Girasole within walking distance and it exceeded our expectations. “We've dined at il Forno numerous times and have loved every meal. Portions are large and delicious, and you are never rushed.

Last weekend, we had the il Forno pizza truck for our son's rehearsal dinner and it was outstanding! They served a variety of delicious pizzas and just kept them coming for 2 hours. Service was perfect, there were many compliments from guests, and no one left hungry!

I ordered the butternut squash ravioli, perfect for the season! The owner was so friendly and, after overhearing how much we enjoyed the cheese with figs and prosciutto, he brought us an extra plate on the house. “There are a lot of Italian restaurants in the Heights but Anthony doesn’t disappoint despite a small storefront. It is mostly takeout but there are couple tables out front if the weather is nice. My favorites are the chicken parm and porcini chicken. Both are outstanding dishes and the portions are pretty massive.“

I had the avocado salad appetizer special (enough for two) and the Gnocchi Bolognese special (enough for two) and my son had Chicken Parmesan. The bread was fantastic as well - still some leftover. “The food is excellent and so is the service! I’ve been coming here for years and the quality never changes. We had the long hots, mozz corozza, seafood salad and a chicken dish. The chicken cutlet was thin but not dry at all! It fell apart and the sauce was delicious. The seafood salad is my favorite, not a lot of lettuce and tossed in a delicious lemon and olive oil light dressing. It compliments the dish perfectly! Dessert was great too! Just go, you will not be disappointed.“
