“First time here and the service was outstanding! The young lady was patient and so pleasant. The food looked beautiful and the presentation was excellent! My food was delicious I don’t eat meat so I had two types of rice, vegetables and both beans they had. My daughter had their quarter chicken with rice and beans. The prices are dirt cheap which is surprising considering the economy. I’ll return for sure!!!“

“Dominican food, and what a treat! Large selection a la cantina (pick & mix), lots of stables and a joyful mood. I think i heard someone singing somewhere...But again; the food. Big flavours, hearty chunks of meat, crunchy salads, spiced rice. What a feast to the senses.A rare 5-star!“

“Food is good, hit or miss on what's in the trays volume wise. The ladies English is so so, hard to communicate sometimes. Also there should be a line so that it's orderly. People just stroll in like they own the pace (the regulars I guess) and cut in front of people. They need a better ordering system. Also there's no posted prices, but the prices were reasonable.“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“I stepped in here because I wanted a coffee but it was a pleasant little surprise. The lunch special is reasonably good. Rice , beans and chicken for $10 in dumbo? That’s a deal. It was seasoned well and tasty. I had some coffee too. Would absolutely come back here again if I’m in the area.“

“I ordered from two good to go, which is an app that gives you discounted meals for less at the end of the night. They gave me liver which I’m not a fan of liver, but I gave it to a friend. I got potato salad. That was delicious a soup with pork in it and vegetables, rice and beans and a vegetable dish with okra and plantains. I will try out their fried chicken soon everything was packaged very good and the place looks very clean. A+

“Stopped here out of curiosity and we were not disappointed. The cheapest and yummiest Dominican food Ive had in NJ so far!

We got 2 lunches of white rice and stew chicken, 2 orders of beans and an order of sweet plantains. Total: $22! They serve SOOOO much food, we had left overs. My plate in the photo is after me eating quite a bit already. We then went back and got 2 tres leches, each were $3.50. Very yummy, I highly recommend this restaurant. In regards to customer service they were so sweet, professional and attentive. I wish this business lots of good fortune and will spread the word. They are amazing.“

“Park Avenue luncheon was great. However, they are no longer in business here at this location. Currently, there is new management and the restaurant goes by a different name now that serves halal Spanish American food. There is no pork chicharon or pernil or pork menu items. I know because I discovered this when i made my latest order there and found out about the new management/ownership“

“Great food the young lady that takes my order on the phone a nice person always gets it right when it's delivered it's delivered with great presentation the salad looks fabulous it tastes wonderful but everything that you order they show a nice presentation the amount is very generous the prices are really great but more than anything else these are DR people true DR are cooking the taste fabulous. I'm puerto rican but the Dominican food is a little different than the puerto rican food but it brings home memories of PR and DR when I used to go visit on vacation now I'm an old lady I don't travel much but going to this restaurant brings back great memories if you have the time pass by you won't waste your time or your money it's a great place God-bless all“

“Honestly this a hidden Gem. It's a really small shop with great Hispanic food. Unfortunately, there's no space for a group of people to sit and eat in. But if you happen to be alone you may be able to grab a seat. They have a lot of different options which is amazing. Its inexpensive and they serve a really good portion of food. The staff is very nice and attentive. They are pretty fast but it does get packed during lunch time starting at 12 pm usually. So you may have to wait a little longer than usual. Definitely try to catch the mangu in the morning for breakfast.“
