“I recently visited this halal fast food restaurant and had a great experience overall. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. I ordered the chicken burger and loaded fries, and both were well-seasoned and served hot. It’s reassuring to know that all the meat is 100% halal, which is very important to me.

The restaurant was clean and well-organized, and the menu had a good variety of options at reasonable prices. Service was quick despite it being busy, and the staff were polite and welcoming. The only small improvement I would suggest is offering more drink options or sauces.

Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty, reliable halal fast food. I’ll be coming back again.

“Having a meal ordered from Shah's in Inwood is like having Thanksgiving dinner with every order because the food is outstanding, consistent, fresh, and the service is excellent!! My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! Tiebah and Thaliah are always welcoming, and always remember our names and our orders. We are never disappointed!!!“

“I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! I definitely would recommend anyone to eat here and I will be visiting again soon!“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

The butter chicken is creamy and full of flavor, and the chicken tikka masala is just as good with the perfect spice level. At first I didn't like the biscuits but they also warmed up well and tasted much better ths next day. They were moist and buttery. The corn in the cob was juicy. The beef patties were not good. They tasted like they were deep fried and old. Guess that's why a beef patty should not be ordered from a fried chicken fast food chain. Overall, the food and service were good.“

I’m not kidding. the cart, Halal Harlem, was established in 2002. the guy working it was a little slow but that’s bc his experienced hands will make your lamb gyro on pita with so much care. be patient and you’ll get the best halal you ever tasted. he didn’t skimp on the meat or veggies. there was onions, tomatoes, and lettuce!! some places give you lettuce and call it a day. I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.
