“We had a wonderful experience! The owner and chefs were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered the ceviche, which was a generous portion for one person, and it was fresh and full of flavor. The sauces paired perfectly with the dish, and the natural drinks were absolutely delicious. Every bite was flavorful, and you can tell they put care into their food. Definitely a place worth visiting!“

“This is a local Chinese/Peruvian food restaurant that gives new meaning to Chinese food! This fusion of flavors is amazing! I’ve had the steak with tostones, their chicharrón de pollo & many other delectable dishes. They also have a nice bar & make excellent Pisco sours which I can’t find in too many places! I live in Rockland County & the hubby & I take the trip about monthly just to eat here! Nothing fancy about the restaurant but definitely good eats! Highly recommend! The hubby &!I will definitely be back! 😋😋😋“

“We tried this new Peruvian spot and were so impressed! The ceviche was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the green pasta was absolutely amazing. What really stood out was the excellent customer service—they were kind enough to prepare a special ceviche without cilantro because of our allergy, and it was just as delicious. It’s not always easy to find restaurants that are so accommodating. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend giving this place a try!“

“Absolute gem of a place to get Hispanic food. I’ve been coming here for so many years and their food hits the spot EVERY time! I’ve only ever tried their chaufa and chicken and it’s absolutely amazing. Their hot green sauce is hot so beware! Absolutely love this place and their drinks are a bit sweet but just a bit of water fixes the problem. The place is always packed, there was a time I went and the line was out till the door so definitely a popular spot amongst the people in the area. You will not be disappointed!“

Spacing between tables is generous, staff is nice and helpful, and there's a pleasant track of Peruvian Andes music to set the mood. We chose to share their Peruvian Chicken platter, a $60 combo with a whole grilled chicken that melted off the bone; a large salad with tomatoes, lettuce and avocado; and a large plate of freshly made French fries. It's hard to eat on the UWS for $30 these days, and we had plenty to take home, so we thought it was a great casual meal option. Menu also features ceviche and Latin dishes like beans n'rice and yucca, skirt steak etc. A diverse group of neighbors, some elderly, gal pals, students and couples were obviously enjoying their meals, too.“

“Very juicy rotisserie chicken for a great price. its more of a place for locals but its once of those places you'd go twice a week. great bang for your buck and the hot sauce is great make sure to ask for it. the place isn't very inviting more of a takeout place and most of the employees cant speak english but thats not an issue for 95 percent of there customers. Id recommend sticking to the chicken and sides.“

“Amazing Peruvian products!!! That’s what I was looking for – excellent quality, authentic flavors and reliability. Their Ají Amarillo and Ají Panca products are wonderful and accentuate perfectly flavors in our cooking. Also their products cooking recipes are easy to make! Keep them coming!“

The chicken soup was better than grandma's, the salad had a unique coriander dressing. The platters came piled high with food. My husband enjoyed every morsel of his pesto noodles and fried fish. We spent three weeks in Italy and didn;t have pesto this good. My rotisserie chicken was moist and flavorful, with more rice and beans than I could eat. We dined here twice with friends and they were also favorably impressed with the fried fish fillet.“

“I know you can read several bad comments about this place... but they are all over a year ago... they reopened a few months ago which is when I started going... and all their dishes are very tasty.. .abundant and with my good attention from everyone who works there! ....for people who had a bad experience before, it's time to give them another chance and they won't be disappointed! Easy answer, the cook kept coming out of the kitchen sitting at an empty table, and going back to prepare more food without caring about food safety. It was a bad sign and they should know better.“

“This is an old favorite since they opened about 20 years ago. The food is amazing. My go to options are the Pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken) is flavorful and juicy, the chaufa mixto (beef and chicken mixed with Hispanic fried rice) has a healthy amount of chicken and beef but not drowning it out with rice, and I can't forget about the chicha morada (Purple corn juice) to round out the meal. Add some of that green hot sauce and you will not regret the trip.“
