“The roast chicken was one of the better chickens I’ve had compared to other Peruvian restaurants. We also enjoyed the chaufa. Super delicious when you add the aji amarillo sauce on top. Our favorite was the ceviche mixto. Great flavor and textures.“

I’ve had the steak with tostones, their chicharrón de pollo & many other delectable dishes. They also have a nice bar & make excellent Pisco sours which I can’t find in too many places! I live in Rockland County & the hubby & I take the trip about monthly just to eat here! Nothing fancy about the restaurant but definitely good eats! Highly recommend! “Our first time at L'Punto and definitely not our last. My partner and I came in not knowing what to expect and left completely satisfied.

We started with the Martini Amazónico – refreshing and unique, the perfect way to kick things off. Then we shared the Arroz con Mariscos Acevichado, which was absolutely delicious – generous seafood, fresh flavors, and that citrus touch was on point. Finished with a sangria that hit the spot.

The service was excellent – attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in what they do. We'll definitely be back regularly.

If you're in the Moonachie/Little Ferry area and craving authentic Peruvian food, this is the spot.“

“Went to Pisco de Mar for an early birthday celebration with friends and had a great time! Started with the croquetas de aji de gallina which were DELICIOUS!

I had the entraña a lo pobre, my fiancé had the jalea, and my friends had the Camarones Inka and the Arroz Chaufa con Pollo. Everything was really good, fresh, and dint take long to come out.

Had their chicha and it was nice too, very cinnamon forward. Finished the nice with a few different desserts including the tres leches and the flan!

Overall, the vibes were great, the staff was really friendly and attentive, and the food was a 10/10!“

I typically get vegetable or shrimp fried rice, calamari, tostones, and my son gets the chicken and fries (their fries are so good too!). I love coming here. Prices are reasonable. Great addition to the neighborhood.“

Spacing between tables is generous, staff is nice and helpful, and there's a pleasant track of Peruvian Andes music to set the mood. We chose to share their Peruvian Chicken platter, a $60 combo with a whole grilled chicken that melted off the bone; a large salad with tomatoes, lettuce and avocado; and a large plate of freshly made French fries. It's hard to eat on the UWS for $30 these days, and we had plenty to take home, so we thought it was a great casual meal option. Menu also features ceviche and Latin dishes like beans n'rice and yucca, skirt steak etc. A diverse group of neighbors, some elderly, gal pals, students and couples were obviously enjoying their meals, too.“

“Absolute gem of a place to get Hispanic food. I’ve been coming here for so many years and their food hits the spot EVERY time! I’ve only ever tried their chaufa and chicken and it’s absolutely amazing. Their hot green sauce is hot so beware! Absolutely love this place and their drinks are a bit sweet but just a bit of water fixes the problem. The place is always packed, there was a time I went and the line was out till the door so definitely a popular spot amongst the people in the area. You will not be disappointed!“

“We sat in their beautiful new dining area and enjoyed their lunch specials. $12.95 gave us a soda or water, an appetizer and a huge late of food. The chicken soup was better than grandma's, the salad had a unique coriander dressing. The platters came piled high with food. My husband enjoyed every morsel of his pesto noodles and fried fish. We spent three weeks in Italy and didn;t have pesto this good. My rotisserie chicken was moist and flavorful, with more rice and beans than I could eat. We dined here twice with friends and they were also favorably impressed with the fried fish fillet.“

“I know you can read several bad comments about this place... but they are all over a year ago... they reopened a few months ago which is when I started going... and all their dishes are very tasty.. .abundant and with my good attention from everyone who works there! ....for people who had a bad experience before, it's time to give them another chance and they won't be disappointed! I don't know if they have changed owners or not... I just know that since they reopened the place I visit them often and I really enjoy their different dishes! “This is an old favorite since they opened about 20 years ago. The food is amazing. My go to options are the Pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken) is flavorful and juicy, the chaufa mixto (beef and chicken mixed with Hispanic fried rice) has a healthy amount of chicken and beef but not drowning it out with rice, and I can't forget about the chicha morada (Purple corn juice) to round out the meal. Add some of that green hot sauce and you will not regret the trip.“

We found this restaurant on doordash, since then we always order for our cheat meal of the week. The flavor is incredible, it has that particular grilled flavor that a good Peruvian chicken should have. We ordered it with potatoes and salad. Of course you can't miss the chili!!! The flavor is spectacular and also the perfect complement!!!
I highly recommend them!!! And for dessert please order the alfajores!!!“
