“Very good plain cheese pizza. Exactly what im looking for. Not super sweet marinara, not marinara overly seasoned w oregano(🤮), just a perfect “orange” pizza. I even Love it cold the next day. Super tasty, love their crust. Not too crunchy or soft. Great service whenever i request something specific while ordering online for pickup. Nice, local spot. Panzarottis are good too, but pricey.
Weekly order for us now. Love it!“

“I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and we had a great experience. The ambience was nice, the staff was friendly, our waitress was attentive and the food was good. The manager Timothy Fisher stopped by our table twice to check on us and as we were on our way out, he ran up the stairs to hand us my girlfriend's purse which was left at our table. And always my end to a great m a also is a dessert. I am seeker of great tira misu, and their's was outstanding as well and homemade as everything else had been. But I must know if the tira misu was made with mascarpone. Please ler me know. I will definitely come again!“

“This is our first time to Philadelphia and we are big Stallone/Rocky fans so we were excited to try this restaurant where some of Rocky Balboa and Creed was filmed. This was one of the best dining experiences with phenomenal entrees, excellent staff, beautiful atmosphere and amazing entertainment with the wait staff breaking into operatic song!! 10/10 recommend!!“

“My family had dinner at Albertinos today for my mom and husbands birthday. Because there was 9 of us they require a fix price meal for each person. This price includes an app, main, and dessert - anything on the menu. The service here is outstanding. The food is better than anywhere else in town, and for me- the best Italian I have ever had. Dinner for 9 of us took about three hours. To me, this is amazing. There was no rush. They made sure everything was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. We have been there two other times and have had the same waitress. The daughter of the owner (Jsut another plus). She is bubbly and kind and makes sure everyone has a great time. “Thank heavens for Colonial Beach Local Foodie’s referral. Meet a gentleman at Thousand Trails resort just outside of Colonial Beach Va. that had a thick Upstate NY accent. We preceded to reminisce about family in Upstate NY,, of course food rolled into the conversation,. That’s how I came across Nonna Lena’s Italian Cuisine. I stopped by the restaurant by myself a couple of later.. Thought I’d get a quick lunch fix. Wrong! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I the chief my plate of Eggplant Parmesan. What a wonderful freshly made dinner (plus leftovers for 2 extra meals). The staff all were very friendly. Chiefly came out to see how I liked my meal. He shared some details about the newly open restaurant & homemade recipes, etc. He mentioned breakfast was also served and somehow in the conversation he decided to send me home with a sample of sausages & gravy along with my husbands meal. OMGoodness, the next day my breakfast was fantastic. Foodie’s note. Their food is prepared fresh from scratch daily😊. Don’t past by Colonial Beach Va. without dinning at Nonna Lena’s Italian several times.“

“I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always been fantastic. Tonight especially so. The setting is obviously unique but the food and service would deliver in any location.

From the second we got off the elevator we were friends. The host welcomed our kids and us (we normally don’t bring our kids to dinner) more naturally than those closest to us. We had a temporary diet restriction and the chef came out and talked us through it and tailored something specific to what we needed.

I work in this industry and spend pretty much all my free time in it too. Places like this are rare sources of both inspiration and aspiration for me.“

We had ordered The Italian hoagie Rotolo, and the house made mozzarella wedges For starters. The Rotolo is a such an innovative play on the Italian hoagie, and the mozzarella wedges were incredible-sauce was delicious. The kids had a really great looking cheese pizza and I ended up having the Wildfeather Paccheri ala Vodka dish… Wow- this dish was so wonderful… Mildly spicy but super creamy and the ribbons of cupped pepperoni in it was off the charts! Highly recommend and we will def do dinner here again!“

“This past spring my family and I took a roadtrip out east and after spending a day in Philadelphia watching the Union (MLS) we ventured into NJ in search of some local Italian eateries. It was a Sunday evening and not many establishments were open however we were fortunate Vitale's Italian Bistro was the exception. Warm welcoming staff greeted us, prompt and attentive wait service, and delicious food in abundance! It was a wonderful evening and a fine way in capping off our 10 day east coast road trip!“

“Giumarello’s Restaurant was delicious! The martinis were great. Appetizers: crab stack with mango salsa and avocado or saffron mussels with shrimp, Yumo! Entrees: Miso glazed sea bass or filet with stuffed lobster tail both Devine! Dessert: Chocolate heaven flourless cake and salted carmel creme brulee were heavenly 😋 Our waiter Griffin was wonderful and very knowledgeable, especially since we needed gluten free options. Highly recommend and will be going back!!“
