“5/24 Update, the restaurant invited me back for a meal to redeem their service. To be fair, the restaurant was busy for yellowtail season so understandable.
The food was amazing, we got the scallops rice, salon pasta, Wagyu ribs and the clam soup. I prob would do without the scallop rice for future but everything else hit the spot. Esp my favorite, the clam soup.
Thank you Won and the Capitan of the restaurant for taking care of us! I will definitely be back soon again.
Previous update: Came as a party of one, was seated immediately. Sat and waited for 30mins, no one came to serve me or take my order.

“Great food - better service. Mason was absolutely wonderful. He helped walked us through the special dishes and his favorites, all of which we tried and were not disappointed. The shrimp parm is an absolute must - as well as the clam pasta. It’s quite different from any other clam pasta I’ve ever had but in a delectable way. The iceberg wedge salad was also delicious. Overall, great experience.“

“Absolutely wonderful — hands down one of the best meals of the trip. Every dish we ordered was excellent: the watermelon salad, tuna, mandu, steak and potatoes, tteokbokki, and the sesame bread and butter pudding were all full of flavor and beautifully presented.
I loved the Korean-fusion small-plates concept — creative, shareable and really well executed. The cocktails were also excellent.
We sat at the bar for a 5 p.m. dinner before a 7 p.m. show, and the timing was perfect. Service was sharp, everything came out at just the right pace, and the bar had such a lively, engaging atmosphere with great conversation from the team.
Fun, flavorful, beautifully plated and full of energy. Would absolutely come back.“

“The food here is absolutely fantastic. The uni series is a must-order, and the washu katsu omurice completely blew me away — easily one of the best things I’ve had in a long time. The green tea cheesecake is delicious too. The staff are all lovely, and you can see why this place stays so busy. We’ll definitely be back, and I can’t wait for their winter special. “Chi Restaurant & Bar is incredible! We came in with a large party and they accommodated us perfectly, which meant we got to try almost everything on the menu. The food tasted totally authentic, yet somehow still fresh and fun. Seriously, it felt like every single dish we ordered topped the last one! The duck was absolutely fantastic, and the dim sum and veggies were just as amazing. Whatever you do, definitely don’t skip out on the cute desserts at the end. It's an awesome spot for a group dinner with top-tier food.“

“I wouldn’t call Katana a dive bar, but on a Tuesday night it felt like a great neighborhood bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Was surprised at how small it was but that added to the chill vibe. I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“

“Had to swing by the new Boucherie and see what this new addition was bringing to the Chicago scene. My visit on a Sunday at 7:30pm was way different than my visit on a Thursday night at 8:30pm. Sunday was calm, spacious with a very moderate noise level but Thursday night was oddly the complete opposite - it was loud, busy and had much less space! 😂 I’d definitely say be cognizant of that when you go; the vibes can vary. The drinks were good - my favorite was “La vie en rose” and the French martini was tasty as well. Loved the escargots and the garlic butter sauce they were drowned in! I also had the saumon roti and that choron sauce on top was delish! I wasn’t a fan of the Paris-Brest for dessert, but the crème brûlée was good! The interior is so beautiful! 😍 Stop by for a visit and see how you like this new Chicago restaurant! Ask for Manuel to be your waiter - he was the best!!!“

“Stay Away!!! Just kidding, this spot is popular and rightfully so for all the right reasons. The atmosphere is bot chill and warm for lounge lizards wanting a great watering hole. The drinks are fantastic, The Monk Fashioned being my favorite, reminds me of a magical Sazerac. The food here is delicious too, been a couple times and look forward to returning again soon. Love the Sweet And Salty Grilly with Gruyère, Prosciutto, Fig Spread, Arugula on Sour Dough. The Fonduey Mac & Cheese is also a cooze fest of cheesy goodness, also the Whipped Feta with the Everything Bagel Pretzel. Always love to get the Crab Cakes. Though I’m eyeing the Skewered Thighs for next time they look like a divine dine. Fortunately we’ve gotten in without a reservation, though I’m sure it’s good to have one.“

“The Woo Woo is definitely one of my favorite spots in the city! Kamila is such an amazing server and suggested we order some shots of her own creation: Rainbow Cookie Shots! “Great bar with a great atmosphere and exceptional service. The cocktails are excellent and incredibly creative—perhaps even extravagant to a fault depending on what you’re looking for. One drink even came with a little pomegranate and shiso “taco” perched on the ice to enjoy alongside it. No surprise given the name, but my favorite of the night was one of their martinis: a Gibson made with black garlic and pepper-infused gin. An outstanding drink. The cocktails are definitely on the pricey side, but they’re beautifully crafted with exceptional ingredients and, on the whole, worth it.“
