“My wife and I have been going here for 8 years, each time we’ve gone it’s been a wonderful experience. The food is terrific, the menu changes all the time with unique ingredients that makes each visit a new visit a new experience. The staff is wonderful, always going above and beyond to help you understand the menu and feel welcome. One of the best bargains in the city for quality/quantity of the food you get, I’ve never been disappointed and I don’t think you will be either.“

“Hosted my bridal shower at Kiddo this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. Wyatt and the team could not have been easier to work with. They were so accommodating and managed everything so well. Everyone loved the food (seasonal, great portions, delicious), the cocktails were amazing, and the space is so cute. Highly recommend for events or even just for weekend brunch.“

“The dishes were generally quite tasty, but the serving sizes were a bit meager given the cost of said dishes. Everyone in our company agreed that the seasoning was delectable and essentially hit the spot. Service was excellent, although the atmosphere was a little bit noisy and the tables were placed really close to each other which did not impart an ambiance of privacy.“

“Front Street Cafe is one of my go to places for brunch, especially because they have delicious vegan options so both my man and I can enjoy some healthier options. We’ve recently enjoyed dinner there as well.
Their coffee, pressed juices, and drinks are great as well.
Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options for brunch and dinner“

“The food and service were outstanding and the ambiance was perfect for our Anniversary dinner.“
“I had superb food throughout my week in Philly but this restaurant topped the lot. Food was absolutely fantastic - every dish a flavour sensation. Service was also faultless, & the greeting warm. It’s an upscale affair, set within a beautiful character building in the posh part of town, but the vibe is low key & unpretentious. Loved every minute!!“

“Delighted with this addition to the neighborhood. Lively and lovely venue from the good folks at River Twice, the Passyunk Avenue spot. The menu is stunning, with crowd pleasing dishes like the Hash Browns with Peekytoe Crab and Uni (a delicious combination of hot and cold, soft and crunchy), Caesar-like Salad, Country Ham with Squid Ink Biscuits, and Sweet Amalia Oysters. Whole Fried Black Bass is like a sculpture set in the center of the table. Cocktails are excellent. The chicken is a very large portion. Most plates are share size. Many people order the Grande Plateau, which looks like a lot of seafood.“

“As I was dining at Fork I expected the experience to be perfection. ? I ordered the herb salad. It was a combination of bland with way too much herb. I ordered the soup which was poured at the table. It was not hot. My entree, the swordfish was excellent.“

“Stopped in this place on a whim as we were on our way to the train station. The food was excellent and the cortado I had was delicious. Quiet and modern take on American breakfast/lunch. Would definitely visit again!
Dietary restrictions: I was able to note my peanut/treenut allergy, despite my dish not necessarily having any in it.
Parking: Parking garage around the corner on Walnut Street
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs leading to the cafe. Would be easily accessible for a wheelchair, though the main door is not automatic and would require someone to hold it open (door is quite heavy too).“

“We were in Philly for maybe 3 hours, we were trying hard to find something to our liking. We were so right about this place. 4 of us got seated by very pleasant server, we got drinks very fast. We ordered 3 pastas of the house and I had a burger. Not only everything was delicious, it was all nicely composed on a plate. I had a burger, and I've never seen a no mess 2 patty burger. Great job guys. Wow !
That pasta was phenomenal too. Will come back. 10/10“

“Our server was named Ryan and he was a delight. Service was quick, with many opportunities to give feedback when server checked in with us. I loved the Smashburger; it was for my tastes and bit salty. The “frites” were perfection. My husband had the Chopped Salad and added Salmon. Price was quite reasonable for the lovely ambiance and high quality and great service. The Pinot Noir added $16 to our meal and the coffee added another $3. Value-conscious folks might prefer the other options at the Philadelphia Museum. We liked the unhurried pace, the aesthetic decor, and the high quality and great service.“

“The rare 5 stars I give- this place deserved it. I chanced on this place one day for the pizza... got brocciole pizza and spices, and potato pizza- outstanding selection and the best or as good as the best pizza I've had. Crust and flavor combination was perfect. I came back 2 nights later to try other dishes... I ordered gnocchi because this shows quality in a restaurant- I've had many bad gnocchi dishes- Alice restaurant was the most perfect gnocchi I have ever had in a restaurant. only home made is better. The texture was perfect and soft. spice perfectly blended. I asked to add sausage... made a perfect meal. The Gelato on top of the small tart was superb. they make their own gelato... quality is excellent. Anna, our server was outstanding. her people skills and customer service would make the owners proud to represent them. Only draw back was that our bar seats were a bit uncomfortable. it is a bit cramped in there. they need a bigger space. absolutely loved this place!!!!“

“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“Went on a date night with my man and we had a great time. The food was very well cooked and seasoned. We got pretzels that were delicious. The mustard had wasabi so it was veryyy spicy and it also came with melted cheese on the side that I loved. Then I got the Schwab burger and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a salmon burger but he didn’t love it. I’m not a beer girl but they had cocktails and it was an amazing drink. I forget the name sorry! The service was great, Leo was our server he was very nice and we got everything we asked for in a timely manner. The atmosphere was nice, just loud on a Saturday night. There’s a shop to buy beer and a pool table. I think there’s an upstairs but we didn’t go up there. Would recommend for girls night, date night, and just casually getting together.“

“We are visiting from Augusta, GA and read awesome reviews, and they did not let us down! We got the roasted beets, the butternut squash pasta, and the brisket sandwich. It was all FANTASTIC. We were quiet while eating because we were too busy focusing on the food and every time we did talk it was about the food being so good, ha! Great atmosphere. We wish this spot was back home. We highly recommend this place.“

“Had dinner this past Sunday night - table of 6- 4 adults and 2 children who dine from the regular dinner menu. Service top notch matching the wonderful food- table had tuna tartar; amazing Brussels sprouts- believe me they are so yummy- oysters - toast goat cheese balls followed by swordfish- bison fillet - filet mignon-short rib ( yep the kids loved their short rib and filet) and desert and coffee - so good and chef stopped by to say hi. Cannot wait to go back again!“

“A lovely diner right inside of reading terminal market. I was in town for a conference at the convention center and had 1 hour to spare for breakfast. We were sat immediately upon arrival and ordered a combination of sweet and savory. My partner and I split the French toast & cheesesteak omelet with a biscuit/gravy on the side. The biscuit gravy was probably my favorite part of the meal. I also ordered black coffee which was mediocre diner coffee. But hey, it’s always a good time when you get a hearty (& greasy) diner breakfast!“

“My family and I (5 of us) were visiting Philly this weekend and were looking for a nice brunch place. Continental Midtown was perfect. The food was amazing. I had the Chilaquiles. The flavor was pure yum. I ate every morsel on my plate. My wife loved her Eggs Benedict with Salmon. The eggs and sauce were perfectly cooked. The service was perfect. Our server, Sela, was so hospitable and sweet. She took our order and the food came out quickly as if it just came off the grill. Will certainly return the next time we are in Philly. Wish I took some photos of our food but we devoured it in no time.

“I was so excited to dine at Her Place Supper Club. The food, ambiance and service were exactly what I expected. I can only give 4 stars on food, however, because the scallops had grit in them. I thought it was just my dish and didn’t want to complain, but on the way home, my friend told me her scallops had grit too. That’s a shame. Other than that, it was a fantastic dining experience.“
