“Alpesh bhai was amazing server . Very engaging and took care of us like guest in his house . Chole bhature is mind blowing. We tried dahi kebab chaat which was amazing and tandoori paneer Kathi roll that was off the chart as well . Amazingly good food .“
“Delhi Garden is our absolute favorite Indian restaurant! We used to live in the neighborhood and recently moved 30 minutes away but we still get takeout from them - the drive is worth it! Call before you're hungry because it's usually a long wait but again, that's because they're so good! Everything is so flavorful and fresh, especially the green sauce that comes on the side. We wish they would open a second location closer to us but we'll keep making the drive!“
“Service is exceptionally friendly and time taken to prepare an order is also pretty quick. It is my go to place for having Indian breakfast. Their mango lassi is top-notch and better than most other places especially because it doesn't include the preservatives taste.“
“Delicious and authentic Indian food. Shrimp vindaloo and lamb were great. The spicy naan and everything naan were super delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with getting orders of our liking. Clean and simple setting/decor with a touch of class. Will be back for sure.“
“Everything was perfect. We came in with a 7 person group and were seated immediately. We ordered the korma, Hyderabadi, paneer, and plenty of naan. Appetizers came out before entrees with time to eat and talk between.Staff were friendly and helpful, we had a birthday cake with us and they helped us serve it. Was a wonderful experience we'll certainly be back.“
“Wow, what an amazing place. This was my first experience having Indian cuisine, and it was absolutely delicious. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Definitely recommend it.Wheelchair accessibility: Had no problem going in with our power wheelchair. While it is a small place, they rearranged it to make it more accessible for our party.“
“The price of the food was a little high but the food balances out the price overall it is an excellent restaurant. Able to tell that it’s fairly new but even that can be overlooked because of a friendly atmosphere at the end it is an amazing restaurant.“
“From customer service to the food quality, every aspect of my family’s experience at this gem was top-tier. The staff go above and beyond to make your dining experience as enjoyable as possible. The food is fresh and hot when it reaches your table. I cannot wait to come back with my family again! Give this place a chance. You will not regret it!“
“I recently had to pleasure of dining in eggholic and it was an absolute delight for my taste buds! This cozy little gem specializes in serving delectable egg-based dishes, including the mouthwatering egg paplet and Italian masala half fry. I also had mango mastani and it was fabulous in tasteOverall, my experience at Eggholic was nothing short of exceptional. If you're a fan of egg-based dishes and crave a culinary adventure that will tantalize your taste buds, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Eggholic . You won't be disappointed!“
“This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? Or maybe they were just that nice). I only tried one because my husband is the one that loves wings the most, but I really enjoyed this one too!\\n\\nService was great! I expected it to be more self service, but they were very involved and made sure to explain what needed to be explained, and to ask about our meal.\\n\\nI'm not doing great at explaining, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves!“
“This place really brings back memories from the past when I used to go to Kathiyavadi restaurant to eat in Gujarat. The food is really good with not too much spice or sweet and has an authentic Kathiyavadi taste. Their service is fast. They have a wide variety of foods to try. They have a very big space where you can also plan small events like birthday or anniversary celebrations for upto 80 people.Parking: Approximately 3-5 cars can park at the same time.Kid-friendliness: They also have highchairs for kids.“
“This was our first time trying PAK and we were very impressed. The chicken and rice was delicious and an extremely generous portion. Samosas were crispy and flavorful. If you love halal food, this is a great spot without having to travel to the city! We will definitely be back!“
“The best food I ever had at this place after coming to America , all food and meal is excellent and trust me try tandoori pomfret of this place it is really really amazing and best is you will feel homely atmosphere, and an excellent service provided by Mr.Nikhil.Thank you Nikhil Sir introducing with your delicious meal .“
“Fantastic place to get some authentic Maharastra cuisine, especially the Kolhapuri Chicken Curry (extremely spicy, unlike the generic Kolhapuri available at Indian restaurants). The staff was extremely helpful as well. I think there is some scope for improvement, reason why I wanted to restrict this otherwise 5 star experience to 4 stars. First, pricing doesn't exactly match the premiumness of the restaurant i.e. dishes are matginally overpriced. We also ordered the Solkadi individually and through the thali, the consistency was very different in both, and the standalone drink (which was $6) seemed much more watery than the one provided in the thali.“
“Last week was the first time in this place. But It is absolutely not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the generous service, with the magnificent cooking and wine and with the friendly cost. We will definitely go back there again.“
“We love Indian food & ordered from Clove Garden to give a new local business a try. Not only was the order perfect, but the food was excellent. They even added a desert for us to try, which was also really good. Happy to have you in Garwood!“
“Swagath Restaurant has closed in Edison and now Kesar Restaurant has opened in the same location at 1700 oak tree road. Kesar is a 5 star restaurant with fantastic Punjabi thali. We had a fantastic lunch at Kesar and it has been open only 3 months.“
“Its a hidden gem on busy oak tree road, the ambience of this place tells it all, this is the most exotic party place in New Jersey, we did my daughter's sweet sixteen here, the food, service, cleanliness, staff, ambience, everything was beyond expectations, I would recommend 100%, Raj is the best.“
“I visited this restaurant with my husband for his birthday, and we were blown away by how fresh and delicious the food was! I've lived in NJ 5 years, and I've never had Indian food taste this good in this state... this restaurant is seriously the most underrated restaurant in NJ and easily deserves the #1 ranking spot for Indian cuisine in NJ. I had the samosas, garlic Naan, and chicken Tikka Masala (*chef's kiss*). Everything was perfect and melted in my mouth. Don't sleep on this restaurant!! It's a small business but it's worth your money.Vegetarian options: Chickpea curry, Gobi aloo, which is basically cauliflower and potato in a delicious curry. I'm sure they have more veggie options.“
“Beautiful dining experiencing, came here for a romantic dinner, the ambience and the food did not disappoint. Our server, Niy was super attentive and polite, made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Overall, fast service, lovely atmosphere, and bomb food, will come again.“
“Loved the food here. Came by on a weeknight and ordered the Chicken Dhingr and Kadhai Paneer. Waiter was very friendly and had lots of suggestions about what dishes to get. The ambiance was nice and allowed for normal conversation at the table. We will be going back to try other dishes soon.“
“I catered from Delhi 6 restaurant, the food was awesome. It was restaurant style at the same time it was non-greasy and very yummy. Every guest appreciated the good food. Thank you Delhi 6 it was an awesome experience. Last minute I added one main course . The owner was so kind to assure me ample pieces of Hara bhara kabab which was so tasty that I saw my son ate so many of them. I am thankful for the excellent service and good catering. Love this place. Will come back again.“
“The culinary experience at Fusion Spice is a delightful symphony of flavors! The diverse fusion menu offers a harmonious blend of spices and textures, creating a memorable dining adventure. Each dish is meticulously crafted, showcasing a perfect balance that leaves taste buds wanting more. Highly recommended for those seeking a tasteful fusion journey!“
“Tried out this place recently and the food there was delicious.aloo paratha here is just amazing super flavorful amristsari kulcha We also ordered their item daal makhni and mix vegetables it was the best decision because every bite felt scrumptious.Definitely worth visiting!“
“Food was very good, The biriyani was a delightful medley of aromatic spices, tender meat, and perfectly cooked rice, all coming together in a symphony of flavors that left my taste buds tingling with delight. Each bite was a journey through layers of richness and complexity, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chef. The generous portion size ensured that every craving was satisfied, and the attentive service only added to the overall experience.“
“I found out this morning this place was reopened by the same family who used to own Sonu Da Dhaba. My father used to know them very well when their original location many years back was in a very unsafe area and much less populated. New Shan-E Punjab's staff are great people who make amazing, proper Punjabi tadka and use good quality meat and ghee to make pakka Desi kahna. The staff and workers are really accomodating, prices are great, and I will be giving a great tip today to the staff today. This is a very underrated place for a thali, mixed tikka platter or even snacks like chaat and samosa. The only complaint I have is sometimes their dahi for biryani has too little bhoondi masala in it. But other than that they're great!“
“No frills indo-chinese food with great customer service and a friendly host. Food catered to your tastes and cravings. Not a fine dining restaurant but the food definitely reminds you of popular staples from India. A little expensive, but worth a visit.Definitely try the chilli paneer, made with fresh homemade paneer every day. Hakka style noodles with a side of Manchurian gravy is also great.“
“had a delicious dinner with family at Spice Bazaar on a Saturday night! we ordered the spinach chaat, tapioca/sabu-dana tikki, chicken tikka bao buns, and the chicken 65 for appetizers, and all of them were delicious and perfect to whet your appetite!we ate so many appetizers and were already full, but we also ended up ordering a lot for entrees: the chicken tikka masala, tangri kabab, crispy fried okra, dal makhani, wild mushroom ghee roast, and the malai methi matar, along with the biggest garlic naan and the laccha paratha. everything was very well cooked, spiced to perfection and absolutely sumptuous! portions are wonderful and the service was also incredibly attentive and thoughtful. i look forward to coming back here many times in the future!“
“I visited this place first time.. food quality was fresh and delicious. Management is also very helpful and kind. I tried Gujarati thali and it’s taste was authentic Gujarati Jamanvar taste. Must try if you in Edison or New Jersey. They have lots of different types of dishes in Menu and you will get Pure Indian food here. Wish one more branch near NewYorkCity.“
“We had onsite catering for our Shiv pooja at home, after getting takeout food from them few times before.Food was sooo delicious. Service was fantastic. The staff was very professional and friendly. They made few food items on site with no issues. I would definitely recommend Desi Tadka to anyone who would like to have take out or get food catered home for any occasions.“
“Great place for buffet lunch and very organized and clean. So many varities and great taste. I have been for personal party too. It a great and convient place for get together. Staff is so polite and helpful. This is the first resturant i have seen that all workers are smiling. I have going to lot of resturant for more then 23yrs. The management must be great that the workers love to work with a smile on the face. That smile just makes it worth the visit you love to visit often. We were there for almost 3hrs for lunch. Also my brother had catering down for his wedding from here and it was amazing. Very professional and great tasting food. Keep up the good work.“
“My friend recommended this place to me so I decided to get takeout from it tonight. I would 100% recommend anyone who wants to eat some yummy indian food. I got the chicken tikka masal combo. The rice and chicken Combo together is delicious. I will be coming back as regular!“
“This place is amazing and best part is BYOB. Great upscale Indian food with tremendous flavor - you'll not be disappointed. I love the service and the ambiance of this place. I been here twice and I have nothing but good things to write about this spot. Come try it because the pictures describe the food exactly. Keep up the great work.“
“We have been going to Red Pepper with our friends since it was opened.the food is excellent. The chicken dishes, Paneer dishes and Kulcha's are worth trying. The deserts are awesome.I would recommend it to everyone.Vegetarian options: Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Matar paneer, and panner tikka masala, and onion and potatoe kulcha's are best.“
“Quality of Dosas and Idlis is good. However, masala was not properly cooked in Dosa and Sambhar had less salt than usual.Filter coffee and chai are good as well but can be better for sure. The dish that we liked best is Bhajji, definitely a must try for anyone new to this place. Also, the place is big enough to accommodate large groups of 6, 8, or even 10 people at once“
“This truck is right in the NJIT campus. You can find it by the long lines next to the truck. The lamb (gyro meat) over rice is very good, it tastes like it was homemade and not the generic factory ones. The long grain basmati is a standout and sets itself apart from the other trucks. The white sauce is a bit heavy like it was just Mayo thinned out with water. Also the hot pepper flakes is not spicy at all. Also I don't think they have the usual Halal truck hot sauce since he never puts any in when I order which is a missed opportunity since I love spicy foods.“
“Vegetarian options: Many option of vegetarian but most important. If you have senior in your company who doesn’t like the smell of it. It’s perfect for them as you don’t smell any food( specially non veg smell ) only great fresh air and good atmosphere. Staff was good. Food was so good that all of us was blown away by the flavors. Every items was unique taste not typical stuffed which you find in every other restaurants with onion and garlic.Sure will return to try other dishes. Keep the good energy and hard work.“
“Awesome place! Food was excellent and fresh hot Sambhar is too good. Must try! Sambhar dipped in Idli and Sambhar dipped in Vada!! Mysore Masala Dosa was worth it! So many options to choose from. Staff was friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!!“
“This place is an absolute treasure. I’ve been going to zaika for the last three years and ive never had a sub par experience. Their food tastes amazing. Its the best in jersey. Especially their chole bhature and chicken 65. The food tastes very authentic yet elevated desi cuisine. The mango lassi is also perfect. If you dont want anything else just come for the mango lassi. Its the best. Super thick n Tastes of real mangoes.Theres a lotttt of vegetarian and vegan options for anyone with dietary restrictions. The customer service is also splendid. The owner personally caters to his customers and makes sure everything is top notch.Dietary restrictions: HalalA lot of Vegetarian optionsA lot of vegan options“
“The Lamb Vindaloo wasn't on the menu, but they made it for me anyway. It was very flavorful and had a good spice level. The Chili cheese Naan was good. As well as the mango Lassi. It was thick with a lot of flavor. The service was very good. I would go there again if I was in town.“
“Great food and ambience.Mandeep is also great server. We have tried dine in and takeout at multiple occasions. Food and service has been consistently great. Best Soya chaap masala in Edison area. Paneer and chicken dishes are great. Must try something different from iselin options.“
“Ordered a kesar special thali , gujrati thali and a chaat thali. Kesar thali was the best out of all. Gujrati thali was a little bland. This place has multiple Jain and Swaminarayan option which is very good. Staff seemed a bit confused with the orders. But definitely amongst the best thali places in central jersey.“
“Love the ambience and the staff!Food is super tasty, my favorites must try recommendations has to be:Bhel puri, Dal makhani, malai kofta, pav bhaji, raj kachori and vada pav. A combo, filling, money saver and the best in area option would be Punjabi thali- which m is amazing. This is my to-go place any day. Service is great at the restaurant especially Jeetu bhai, he is always lively and Jolly.“
“Great place to find multiple Indian food options from chaat to biryani to North Indian to Chinese under one roof. Some counters are pure vegetarian so that also is helpful for folks. All in all a good spot to have some quick bite with a group.Vegetarian options: Some counters are pure vegetarianParking: Lot of parking spots availableKid-friendliness: Lot of kid friendly options“
“I ordered online a received a phone call confirming my order right away. Food was done fast and it was all delicious. It’s great having this restaurant in the neighborhood will most definitely be ordering again. Had the chicken curry, plain rice and plain naan bread and chicken “
“We've been coming here for more than twenty years and tend to order a few favorites: chicken peshawari, baingan bharta, and saag chole are all outstanding. We remarked that the flavors were even better than we remembered.Sure, we go to Edison or Iselin for more variety from time to time, but don't sleep on the Star for an excellent meal!“
“We had chargha, It was a bit on the dry side so we weren't able to finish the whole thing. The table next had haleem but it wasn't warm enough, which makes me think that it was probably premade. I think for the number of people that visit them on a regular basis they could do a better job.“
“Enjoyed authentic Sri Lankan cuisine today which reminded us of the food we had on our Sri Lanka vacation beforeWe had the fish and shrimp combo platters for lunchVery reasonable price and excellent service by owner Mr. Pushpa Kumar! Would def come again“
