“Okay, we've been coming to this truck since 2008 or so, when my son was a student at NJIT.I'm going to say that the best food here are the platters, especially the chicken platter; unfortunately my son insisted on the Samosa Tikki Sandwich. It was good, but the platters, with extra white sauce, and a sprinkle of red pepper, is worth the visit. Enjoyed the sandwich. The picture is only a fourth of the sandwich.“

We had some tomato soup to start then ordered garlic and cheese naan, tika masala, tikka chicken fried rice, and aloo samosa. The flavors were incredible! Our eyes were bigger than our stomach so we ended up having leftovers, which we looked forward to eating and finished this evening.

I wish I could remember our servers names, they were both kind and checked in with us throughout the meal.

I often struggle with sound levels in busy restaurants, but I found the lighting and the sound level were really really pleasant. We ordered, and our starter was in front of us really quickly.

The food was delicious. Complex and rich flavours. Chicken tikka BBQ was so juicy and fresh. The lamb pasanda was the star of the show, even the gravy was mouth watering. The daal, in comparison, was a little bland, we might try a different vegetarian curry next time. The naan are HUGE, fluffy and authentic. Definitely share one between two. The challenge of the lassi was not drinking it in one go, it was so yummy.“

The butter chicken was silky, rich, and deeply unfair to every other butter chicken I’ve ever had. The garlic naan showed up like it had something to prove — and it did. I ate way too many pieces and I would do it again without hesitation.

The mango lassi was the cooldown I didn’t deserve but desperately needed.

“We were wanting to try an Indian spot for dinner and chose this one. We had a great time from the second we walked in to the end of our meal. The waitress was so kind and helpful especially since we had our baby daughter with us, with a highchair and asking if we needed anything, helping us order different meals and making sure we had everything we needed.
