“Okay, we've been coming to this truck since 2008 or so, when my son was a student at NJIT.I'm going to say that the best food here are the platters, especially the chicken platter; unfortunately my son insisted on the Samosa Tikki Sandwich. It was good, but the platters, with extra white sauce, and a sprinkle of red pepper, is worth the visit. Enjoyed the sandwich. The picture is only a fourth of the sandwich.“

“I’m a busy working mom and order from Wonder meals for my family 2-3 times a week at least. I like the variety of choices they offer. We particularly like their salads, Mexican food, a chicken sandwich and poke bowls. Most of the meals are very tasty, fresh and good value for the money. We also take advantage of the ability to order from other restaurants through the wonder platform. I particularly like their customer service because it is super responsive and accommodating if there are any mistakes in the order. “The food here is unbelievably delicious. We have tried all the panipuri spots around the street on the same day. Desi adda was the best. Their vadapav and secret menu items is another thing you have to try. They make everything from scratch fresh.

“We had the butter chicken, cheese naan and whole pomfrit fish. The butter chicken was seasoned so well and the chicken was super tender. Probably the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the whole pomfrit and said it was seasoned and cooked well and slightly spicy. 10/10 recommend. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, gives mom and pop shop vibes.“

“Wanted to taste a new Punjabi restaurant in Central New Jersey and found this place through Google maps. Read their reviews and wanted to surely taste their food.. parking was a bit tight but fine . Location voice it is slightly off the main areas in Central Jersey.

Service could improve.. They forgot some order… they got garlic naan after almost 30 minutes.. .. Punjabi kulcha was the best . Super super good . Punjabi thali was also good . Garlic naan did not taste good… and so did paneer Tika Masala.. It was very average…. Lassi was really good…

Overall, it was a decent experience.. wanted to give 3.5 but gave a 4 .. for the price vs quality factor.“

“Been to this place quite a few times and we are big fans now! The two items I would say are absolute must have are the steamed veggie momos and the paneer tikka tacos!

Those tacos are genuinely so so so tasty! And the momos here are our absolute favorites in JC / NYC. I don’t think anyone makes better momos than them - and if you disagree, we are happy to do a taste test haha. We have tried the fried momos and steamed momos and while both are great, we are partial to the steamed ones!

The owner, Mr Rana, is super friendly. He accommodated us on a busy night on Karwa Chauth, he is always super friendly when we walk in with our baby in her car seat or stroller and helps us make space and get her situated very comfortably.

“Chennai flavors is bangin… I just got the food and had to pause to write this. Got the chicken and lamb over salad and holyyy it’s good! The lamb is real lamb not that bs gyro meat.. these are actual cuts of lamb and delicious chicken. These would be delicious over some rice but I’m keto so I went salad. “Visited this spot for a casual Friday date night. The atmosphere was cool/quiet, and they had a World Cup game playing. I had the Lamb Jalfrezi and she had the Lamb Biryani, and both our dishes were excellent! The lamb was tender, the dishes well-spiced, and the cheese and garlic naan were heavenly. “Was visiting Hoboken and looking for a good lunch spot close to Steven's University and came across Karma Kafe. Reviews were good and there were lots of people who took the time to rave so figured give it a shot. As always, reviews don't lie and ended up having a great lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to walk in without a reservation on a Sunday afternoon without an issue and we were lucky. Pretty sure for future visits, would lock in a reservation to be on the safe side. Upon being seated, a serving of Papadum (Thin & crispy lentil flat bread) was served with tasty accompaniments was the perfect start as we scoured the menu. We started with The Veggie Sampler which was compromised of a Veggie samosa ( Stuffed crispy triangle pastry stufffed with potatoes and peas), Veggie Pakoras (Crisp veggies lightly battered in a chick pea flour and seasoning mix) and a Veggie Tikkis (Lightly breaded veggie cutlets seasoned with herbs and spices, served with mango chutney.) The serving size was decent and realized if we ate everything on the plate than we would be full and would have no room for the main course. The appatizers were delicious and a great way to prepare for lunch. Indian Food is usually always a hit for us due to the large vegertain options that are available to her as well as the non vegetarian options for me. Plenty of great choices to pick from making the decision difficult. I ordered Chicken Vindaloo (Chicken and potatoes in a spicy vindaloo sauce) When ordering, the waiter ensured I was ready for the heat from spice ranking it a 10 of 10. Will admit I love hot foods, and was apprehensive with his warnings but pushed forward. While the food was definitely spicey, not sure if I would rank as a 10 of 10 being some Indian dishes have been insanely hot. All in all, the meal was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter ordered the Paneer Kashmiri (Cheese cubes and veggies in a mild saffron korma sauce) and was thoroughly satisfied. Both entrees were served with Basmati Rice and Dal. While not needed , we also order Garlic Nan which was incredibly delicious. The Nan was even better when dipped in the savory sauces that our meal came in. As you can imagine, there was so much food that we both took some home that made for another meal. Overall, we were both super satisfied and left stuffed. Definitely a great location that we plan to return to. The location was perfect and was a short walk from Stevens. The food quality was good, the service was great, and I found the value to be exceptional for its location.“
