We ordered the appetizer of the day, Gnocchi à la parisienne, Noix de Saint Jacques, and the desserts were a cherry on top. All the food was above and beyond. Both of us have been to Paris, but with all honesty, Bistrot La Minette tastes way better. Highly recommend for any special occasions for a taste of France in the city of Philadelphia.“

“The best Pho I’ve had in the city. It’s cash only but they have an ATM there. One of the biggest appeals for me other than the food is that they always seat you immediately and bring out your food practically as fast as you order it. It’s also at a good price point. Depending on when you go parking is usually hard to find so you’re probably better off parking on the street nearby.Parking: Depending on when you go parking can be hard to find. “Hadn't been in years but glad to have returned. Started with house white wine and a cocktail for hubby. Shared their Caesar salad, then we each had a pasta entre: ravioli with butternut squash and linguin with clams. Also shared a mushrooms side and foccacia. All the food was delicious! Ended with sharing a cannoli and a cappuccino. Overall great experience in a romantic setting (2-person booths in the lower level) with an our wonderful server Rachel.“

Goes without saying that the food is incredible, especially for only $40/person. The pastilla was absolutely my favorite and I'd say the couscous was my least favorite. “The main store is small with an enclosed counter, fridge filled with drinks on the side, and an atm in the corner. They only accept cash so the atm becomes quite useful. Ordered the barbacoa tacos, birria burrito, and couple apple flavored sodas at the front counter and gave our name after paying for our meal. We moved into the next room over. It had plenty of seating and tables. No bathroom is available. When the order was ready, one of the staff would walk into the seating room and announce the order's name. We would pick up the order in the original room and return to the seating to eat. The barbacoa tacos mixed with lemon juice and sauces were fantastic. Each bite was succulent and savory. The burritos were the same. Mixing in the sauces and dipping in the burrito halves into the birria made the halves moist, flavorful, and delicious.“

Ordered the corn cakes to start with which were delicious and I loved the small salad that it came with. My friend ordered the basil fried rice which I wasn't as big of a fan for since it was a tad spicy and seemed heavy handed in the spices. I don't believe they asked for the spice levels on any of the dishes we ordered either. I am still dreaming about my soup noodles I ordered. I loved how accommodating they were when I asked for a side of chicken since I wanted to share with my vegetarian friend. They came out with this huge bowl of ground chicken. The soup was flavorful and mild seasoning and not spicy for me and the noodles were cooked to perfection. We were so full we didn't have room for dessert - next time! I'll be back.“

Dip the warm, doughy pretzels in cheddar cheese, honey mustard & have yourself a delicious time. “Cheesesteak was up there in the top 20. Chicken with vodka sauce sub was up there in top 10 for sure! I loved that they didn't stack the chicken on top of each other but rather hammered it thin and let it all Hang out over the sides of the delicious bread. The bread makes it I think. Wish I found this sooner since moving out this way; wasted almost 18 months not even knowing about this place yet driving by it almost everyday on my way to/from the gym.“
