Now live in Key West for last 30 years but specifically make sure each time I come up to see family I go to Villa Di Roma, clams casino, asparagus, gravy and the people there that run it all family. I spoke with Christine who helped me place the order, and helped me to decide the best options for my menu. One of my options was a prime rib, where I received a phone call from Johnny himself to help me figure out the best way to prepare it for the party. When it was time to retrieve the food on the day of the party, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Johnny once again came out and was talking with me about the food. I appreciate this aspect of a business, it makes you feel like you’re in a friendly environment, rather than a sterile kitchen. The food quality was amazing. Every platter was delicious, and every guest was happy with how the food turned out. The prime rib was the largest hit, not surprisingly. I couldn’t believe the value of everything as well. “Thank heavens for Colonial Beach Local Foodie’s referral. Meet a gentleman at Thousand Trails resort just outside of Colonial Beach Va. that had a thick Upstate NY accent. We preceded to reminisce about family in Upstate NY,, of course food rolled into the conversation,. That’s how I came across Nonna Lena’s Italian Cuisine. I stopped by the restaurant by myself a couple of later.. Thought I’d get a quick lunch fix. Wrong! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I the chief my plate of Eggplant Parmesan. What a wonderful freshly made dinner (plus leftovers for 2 extra meals). The staff all were very friendly. Chiefly came out to see how I liked my meal. He shared some details about the newly open restaurant & homemade recipes, etc. He mentioned breakfast was also served and somehow in the conversation he decided to send me home with a sample of sausages & gravy along with my husbands meal. OMGoodness, the next day my breakfast was fantastic. Foodie’s note. Their food is prepared fresh from scratch daily😊. Service was great! Lydia was our server and she was awesome! Explained the menu well and gave great recommendations! I even got a little birthday card from the chef which was a really sweet touch

Food was overall pretty good. We tried 3 different pastas and enjoyed the bucatini the best! The gelato was soo good and drinks were great as well!

“This past spring my family and I took a roadtrip out east and after spending a day in Philadelphia watching the Union (MLS) we ventured into NJ in search of some local Italian eateries. It was a Sunday evening and not many establishments were open however we were fortunate Vitale's Italian Bistro was the exception. Warm welcoming staff greeted us, prompt and attentive wait service, and delicious food in abundance! It was a wonderful evening and a fine way in capping off our 10 day east coast road trip!“

“Piazza Napoli is an all-around great pizza parlor! They offer takeout, but also dine-in, and you can reserve for pizza party. Their delicious upside down pizza is our family fave, yummy inside outs, along with tomato pie. Prompt service, has been consistently ready on time for pick up. (We have not tried delivery.). Menu has so much to offer, everything has been tasty. Give 'em a try!“

We had 9 dishes for 4 people, which includes dessert. We decided against dessert and got another pasta instead because we were still hungry since the portions are small. Service was friendly from the moment we walked in. Pastas and lamb chops were good. Octopus was small and only okay. No social media. We went upstairs for drinks afterwards and there was live jazz. Not too loud so could still talk. Not crowded and bartender friendly.“

“Worth the membership. I have been to Messina a few times now sitting at both the bar and tables. It’s such a good spot. The staff is friendly and gives great drink recommendations. They let me order off the catering menu same day & we got a half tray of Chicken Parm, Shrimp Scampi Pizza, some Linguini w Blush Sauce (I added crab for an additional fee) & Gnocci with Pesto Cream.
