“I'm not usually one to dish out five star reviews like candy, but I'm beyond thoroughly impressed. It was genuinely the best food I've ever tasted. I didn't know that was a thing I would say. I sound... Extremely pretentious right now, but it's a luxurious and excellent place to eat that takes you surprisingly few dollars. (My dad got the Arroz con Pollo de la Charrera, and I got the «El Poquito de Todo», we both got deserts, and we didn't crack 50 bucks.)

Our server Cristian was excellent, he was very attentive and not afraid to talk to us!

We're certainly not from the area. Me and my father are going on a roadtrip from Tennessee (we drove up to NYC in 1.5 days!!) to Vermont, to use every single day of my Fall Break. So, considering that, it's unfair for me to recommend it over other places here. I'll get around that by recommending it over every place this side of the Mississippi!

Seriously. You aren't gonna regret eating here. The mains are amazing, extremely flavorful and well-seasoned without being overly strong. The plantains, especially, are literally good enough to make you cry. The pastel de tres leches is also nothing short of phenomenal. I'm not a drinker, but they had a very extensive collection of high-branded wines and a lovely looking bar.

Any dish you try here will change your life. Go on! Try it!“

“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

Minor complaints is that they don’t follow instructions too well; I ask them to put the meats separate from the rice; sometimes they listen, but sometimes they don’t as you see in the picture. Also, I advise that if you order a Coca Cola, make sure you let them know you don’t want Pepsi because someone there seems to not know the difference between the 2.

Parking: Street is very centric for business and residential. Main Street which is Bergenline has parking meters while side streets do not have.“

“We went to Omar’s this morning for a bite, upon entry we were warmly greeted and customers looked to be regulars. All of this was a good sign. We ordered two Taylor ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and coffee. This sandwich was no joke it was much larger than expected, the bread was fantastic, eggs cooked just right and the Taylor Ham, well it’s Taylor Ham it’s always perfect. The Cuban coffee was amazing.
