“Built in 1937 and originally known as “Lookout Inn, my partner and I decided to stop at the State Line Lookout Cafe after a nice hike for a bite. This casual establishment is a throwback to yesteryear inside a nice stone cabin with fireplaces to warm up during cold weather and the only restaurant/cafe around in the nearby area.

I was greeted by the young staff. Their simple menu is a little diverse, from breakfast sandwiches, various burgers, and hot dogs to fries, but nothing too fancy.

We decided on a cheeseburger, a tuna fish salad sandwich, large fries to share, and drinks for takeout.

Service was friendly and quick. Prices are quite reasonable, and the food was hot, freshly prepared, and tasty.

“Just be mindful that the restaurant is located inside the golf academy, once you enter the building the entrance is on your left.Overall had an amazing experience, they will give you an extraordinary service and treat you like a valued customer at all time. All the dishes are delicious, yet low sodium, fresh ingredients. They have a seasonal menu and it's the best to follow what the owner suggest. They usually have very traditional, healthy dishes.“

“This is my favorite local place to grab a quick lunch, or grab food to go. I have converted most of my family to loving their chicken pot pies - they are divine and so easy to heat up at home!
You can't go wrong with any item on the menu, though my favorite is their farm burger with their lemonade. You can sit outside at a table (with umbrella) to enjoy the day, or sit inside. They have 1 bathroom open to the public.
They offer a variety of farm goodies each season: eggs, pumpkins, ice creams, lavender, and more.
The staff are always friendly and I always look forward to going there.

“I’m from Florida visiting for work and stopped in for a quick bagel. I give it to these guys, the bagels are fresh and the spreads are good (especially the lock spread). Pleased all around with the bagels (did not try sandwiches, though I’d imagine they’d be par). Overall recommend.“

“Looooved the atmosphere at this cute Puerto Rican owned cafe. The coquito latte?! AMAZING. My friend got the avocado toast and I got the breakfast sandwich on Mexican bread. 9/10! The only downfall was that people were comfortably seated and no one was really policing the tables, but my friend and I finally got a seat and were able to enjoy the experience a little better.“

“I went into the Fantastic Foods store in Norwood, NJ for the first time and was amazed at the international food sections, as well as the cooking classes they offer. The owner proudly introduced me to the products. Before I left, as I was at the register paying for the things that I had purchased, the owner asked me if I’d like to try the pecan pie. She noticed that I was cooking tempting it. It looked so incredible I wondered if it tasted as good as it looked. When I tried a piece, I was astounded at how delicious it was! I’ve never tasted anything quite like it! I’ve never had pecan pie, but this must’ve been a cut above the rest. The cinnamon flavor was divine, and I immediately ordered a piece for myself to go. When I got into my car, I couldn’t wait! I immediately devoured my delicious pecan pie. My father used to say it was his favorite but I bet he never had anything this good!! I wish he was around so I could share it with him but it made me happy to know that I now can share his joy! I immediately texted my friends to tell them about my experience! The owner tells me that they also serve crêpes. I can’t imagine how amazing they must be. I Highly recommend Fantastic Foods to anyone who is selective in their culinary taste and looks for international foods. “Excellent croffles and drinks! Caffe AND is a great place for a quick treat; service is fast, efficient, and friendly. The staff have always been welcoming, and the croffles come out warm with the perfect texture. I especially like the blueberry croffles, and I hope to try tiramisu next. “Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“I stopped here on a whim driving home and I’m so glad I did. Super friendly workers who asked how I was while they were making my order and one even brought my bag of food to me as I was waiting by the front door.

We ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Chino’s Special subs to go (hero sizes). Both were incredible! The CC had a really nice kick to it and complimented the crispy chicken cutlet very well. Chino’s Special was my favorite - a messy sub with a generous helping of turkey meat with a runny egg.

My family of 3 wished we had more space in our stomachs to finish everything. The hero sized subs are large, and absolutely worth the price especially with similar restaurants charging the same, if not more, for a mediocre sub. We will be back for more!“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“This place is a hidden gem/slice of heaven. The pastries are made fresh daily and are light and really perfectly balanced. They come with great flavors that you don't commonly find like cardamom. It was very hard to decide but I went with a pistachio option for pastry/doughnut. I also ordered a cappuccino and added one of their cafe-made flavors: s'mores. They offer others but this was especially good and again, not overly sweet. They really got it right. Dean and Co are very friendly & courteous. If you're close by, make this a part of your morning routine!

“This is a staple in the heights, i love coming here whenever i get the chance i always get either the everything green or sweet green juice and sometimes the Strawberry shake and i add a scoop of vanilla protein powder they have, they do have other flavor protein powder!
