“Not only is the food outstanding at Taco Heart, but so is their customer service. I recently ordered some of their tortillas online for pick up. When I arrived at the shop, they didn't have any ready for me to take home. The went above and beyond to make sure I got what I ordered and had them delivered, free of charge, to my home (miles away) later that day. It meant a lot to me, and has earned them a regular customer for life!“

“This place rocks. I’ve had tacos, a quesadilla, and a burrito from here—and they’ve all been excellent. It’s open late and such a fun vibe, with customers eating and hanging around outside. The staff, especially the middle-aged gentleman who takes orders, are very friendly and funny. Just keep in mind: there is no seating and it’s cash only. There is an ATM on site.“

“This food is amazing. HAND MADE TORTILLAS which I have never seen in a Philly taqueria before! We ordered one jamaica glass and they gave us a huge jug to share AND two extra cups to take out. The inside is pretty small & no frills, but the food is ABSOLUTELY worth it! I speak Spanish and the lady serving us was the owner, she mentioned they are struggling to stay open. “No pictures because the food hit the table at home and we immediately forgot all about our phones 😂 On a whim I was craving fish tacos, searched Google, found La Ingrata and headed over. Let me tell you… absolutely worth it. The food was a solid 10/10. The taco pizza was unreal and the fish tacos were honestly to die for. Fresh, flavorful, and one of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave. We ordered takeout, and while we waited for our food, we sat down and ended up chatting with the family. The owners’ 4-year-old daughter came and sat next to us, and if you know me, you know I’m all about the kiddos. Holding her little pile of tip coins and her pack of stickers, we somehow got into conversations about trains, numbers, birthdays… and found out ours are one day apart. Clearly we vibed because Virgos do things like that 😂 The owners came over and talked with us about business, and as food truck owners ourselves, my boyfriend and I instantly connected with them. Beyond the amazing food was just a hardworking family trying to make it, just like the rest of us. Seeing the next generation sitting right there alongside their parents, learning and growing in the middle of it all, was really the icing on the cake for me. Support family businesses. Support people chasing dreams. And definitely go get those fish tacos.“

“Third visit in a month. I ordered the torta milanesa each time. It is a mexican sandwich. My friend asked the torta al pastor twice, and the al pastor burrito once. He also went for the tamararind drink, which he enjoyed. I went for water and diet Coke.
It is a mom and pop place and worth a stop. Dining in is my favorite so it is served as intended with the correct parts still crispy or squishy as one expects. Reach this place by taking the T-4 or T-5 trolleys. Enano means a person who is not tall according to the owner. Friendly and efficient.“

“Carolyn's has very innovative food that blends Vietnamese and Cajun cuisine. The highlight of the meal was the whole fried branzino which had a cornmeal crust. Also recommend the rice pudding for dessert. Service was knowledgeable and efficient and Chef Carolyn came out at the end to talk with us. She is a delight.“

The quesabirria with consommé was absolutely delicious—rich, juicy, and packed with authentic taste. The asada nachos were loaded and satisfying, and the buffalo wings were cooked perfectly with great flavor. Even the homemade fruit drinks were refreshing and on point! 🍹 On top of that, the service was friendly and fast, making the whole experience even better. There was such a great portion of meat on each taco I was only able to eat 3 of 4. The ability to customize my taco was wonderful! Ask for extra napkins + limes. “Finally had a chance to try their food truck i kept seeing on my commute. Tried the Al Pastor tacos and they were amazing. Also tried the chips and guac as a side. The chips were delicious and the guacamole so fresh! Look forward to having again!“

“I have been coming to Freddy & Tony's since i was born! As soon as you walk in they make you feel like your family. If you do not speak Spanish or know how to read Spanish that is not a problem here their menu is biligual, and so are the staff. This place is were I go to get a home style meal from the islands. My favorite is their sweet plantain, stewed chicken, arroz con gandules, and salad(***put oil and vinegar on it not salad dressing it cuts the fat from the food you're eating to refresh you pallet). They have tons of options to choose from too, just know that if you going here on a Saturday or Sunday be ready for a crowd because this is THE best place to go for Puerto Rican food in Philly!“

The menu is limited but it’s a great spot to just stop and grab food when your hungry and want something fast and easy especially if your staying at the hotel like I was. “Found this place on here when we were randomly near the area. So glad we did! The vegan selection is awesome. Vegan proteins include vegan chorizo, vegan chickn, and black beans. They also have vegan queso, shredded vegan cheese, and vegan sour cream. One of the employees also told me to try the roasted potatoes next time. All 3 of us got nachos (smaller size). The portion size was huge, and a great value for the price. Everything had great flavour. I don’t think I’ve ever had vegan queso that good. On top of all that, the mission of this place is great, and everyone working there was really nice. We will definitely be going out of our way to come from Jersey to eat here again.
