This is the first Haitian restaurant I’ve visited that delivered such impeccable service, and it made all the difference. “Had breakfast here early on a Saturday with a friend. Food was good for sure. However, EVERY person working at this restaurant attended to us. We had a hard time finishing one sentence of our conversation without being asked how things were or if we wanted more coffee. I'm serious, no fewer than 6 people visited our table. Our waitress, Marissa, was personable and helpful; she was taking care of us very well. The 1-star for atmosphere was because the OWNER came to our table and asked if we wanted more coffee. I declined, but my friend accepted. I swear she did this just to make him go away as Marissa had offered us coffee moments before and she'd declined. THEN WE OVERHEAR the manager giving Marissa a hard time because we ACCEPTED COFFEE. His assumption was that she had not been attending to us instead of understanding that women know that the male ego has a hard time with the word NO. Not only should management not be giving a good waitress a hard time, they certainly should not do it where customers can hear. Gross!“

“The question is, was this place good enough for me to be a repeat customer? And the answer is an astounding YES!! For me this place is a vibe, though it's small in size. It's big in ambiance. Each person I encountered was as pleasant as the next. We shared the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. Delicious is all I can say. Also the cheese burger and the French toast sandwich is also a must try. This place is a definitely a place to go??

“This is a great little café/diner right next to the Westfield train station. We are fairly new to Westfield and went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We were wowed by the wonderful customer service of our waitress, Cindy. She was very attentive, provided great order suggestions and also brought over their delicious housemade hot sauce to go along with our eggs. All the food we ordered was wonderful, including the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes, the egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll, and the Florentine omelette. The chef (maybe owner?), Ash even stopped by later on towards the end of our meal to check on how everything was. We meant to write this review right after that, but then never got around to it and when we went back today a few weeks later, we realized how much we needed to write this up! This time Kirsten and Cindy both helped us out, and Cindy remembered us by our orders from the last time even though we had only been here one time- very impressive and shows a great attention to detail and customer service. Ash came by also, and it was clear he remembered us as well. The food was fresh and tasty yet again (we got the French toast, egg and cheese sandwich, and Greek omelette this time) and the prices are great. This place is a gem and is definitely becoming one of our go-to spots!“

“Long review DISCLAIMER!!! I was traveling from the Carolinas to NYC and after shopping at the Linden Walmart Supercenter, I was very hungry and desired some pancakes. After scouring Google reviews for some place nearby besides Ihop to satisfy my hunger, I decided to check out Kelly's Breakfast at 159 Elmora Avenue. However, I was pressed for time on a sit down meal since I was trying to make it to Brooklyn in time to pick my Mother up from church. Well, I just happened to find myself near New Jersey this morning and wanted to still have my meal from Kelly's Breakfast. Around my morning arrival time paid street parking in front of the establishment was limited but I was able to find parking on the side street within a short walking distance. I was met with a greeting and a friendly smile as I entered and approached the counter. No, this is not a big place, but with ample seating to accommodate 2 or 4 guests at a table the vibe is inviting, warm, and relaxing! There's a TV tune to the news if you're interested! As I was dining alone I glanced to see what was the latest happenings in our world. It did not take long for my order to arrived to my table and I gave it a 10 for presentation. Also, a 10 for taste, portion size, and quality. Another 10 for CUSTOMER SERVICE OVERALL and accommodating a small request reference my phone. The prior reviews that stirred me in the direction to Kelly's Breakfast did it justice and I will continue with my 5 Stars. Kelly, who was also the hostess, is charming and checks on you to ensure everything is good. I will be back in my future travels!!!“

“I love this place. Bagels are always fresh. I always get a bacon, egg and cheese with or without avocado depending on my mood and it’s so good the bacon comes out nice and crispy not burnt but not soggy. The only thing I noticed the last time I was there I don’t know if the guy is the owner or what but he offered me “free gummy candy” (the hamburger gummies) like literally handed it to me and then proceeded to charge me for it. Like why say it’s free if it’s not lol“

“Food is fantastic! We get takeout dinner once weekly! Started during pandemic and it’s now our routine. Great, helpful staff and owner almost always present. Love lunch and breakfast here too and also the fresh bottled salad dressings. Can’t miss with Marigolds.

“I’ve been eating here for almost 10 years. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. People use the word butter milk pancakes loosely. Theirs really taste like butter milk. Everything is good. Same chef for years. My only complaint is, They never open on time, they’ve actually been closed for a while with no notice. Shame because me and my girlfriend are from out of town and waited outside for almost 2 hours. If they correct punctuality, I would give it five out of five stars because the food is phenomenal.“

“My experience at IHOP was mixed. My server was kind. My waiter was polite but not very attentive. I had to go through 3 sets of silverware to find a fork that didn't have eggs caked up on it from the dishwasher heat (see pics).

The banana Foster meal was what I loved most and to be expected. Even the free short stack :-).

Overall, I would come again but expectations would be higher. Not gonna lower the bar on you guys. Surely you can do better, above and beyond.“
