“Poke House in Cranford is a total gem. The food’s fresh, the portions are generous, and the staff is genuinely friendly. I had a salmon poke bowl with avocado and a bunch of toppings it was packed with flavor and super satisfying.
They’ve got more than just poke too. The ramen was surprisingly good, and the shumai hit the spot. The place is casual, clean, and perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends.
It’s one of those spots you end up telling people about. Great food, chill atmosphere, and prices that make sense. Definitely worth stopping by.“

“Had the karaage, paitan ramen, and tonkatsu curry over rice. All decent. The curry unfortunately tasted exactly like store bought ready to eat packets. Not necessarily bad, just something to note. Tonkatsu was a bit dry. They charge for hot tea ($2 per person).“

“I cannot say enough good things about this place! The ramen is beyond delicious—comforting, flavorful, and made with love. The bubble tea is always so refreshing and perfectly made, and the rice balls are seriously addictive. The service is always so kind and attentive, you feel completely taken care of every time you come in. The owners are the sweetest people! The atmosphere is beautiful, cozy, and has such a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you never want to leave. I’m already excited for my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food & drinks.“

“small ramen with big flavors. I enjoyed everything from the chill atmosphere to amazing food. the blend of Peruvian cuisine with traditional Japanese dishes is a match made in foodie heaven. I had the double fried wings and sloppy joe bao bun for a starter and each dish was better than the last. the wings were super crispy yet tender inside and the sloppy joe bao buns were a trip down memory lane. the sloppy brought me back to my childhood eating at a friend's house. for my ramen I had the tonkatu. their pork broth was hearty and tasteful and reminded me of my first bowl of real ramen. I highly recommend going there and finding out on your own...“

“The food was quite delightful. When we came in we were seated immediately. Our orders were taken within 2 minutes and the food came out just 5 minutes later. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The authenticity was also quite marvelous. Definitely coming back!
Dietary restrictions: Not sure I don’t have any.
Kid-friendliness: Pretty kid friendly. I saw that there were high seats for children and small kids enjoying everything.
Wheelchair accessibility: You have to get up stairs to go here so it might not be the best option but if you manage to get up, there is quite a lot of space for a wheelchair“

“My friends and I love getting ramen at Menya!
The ramen is absolutely delicious (especially on a cold day) and the couple/family pricing is unbeatable.
Aaron is usually our server and he makes the dining experience 10x better.
If you’re in Metuchen and want a good ramen check them out!“

“Love their Classic Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth is so tasty and has a creamy consistency. Noodles have nice bite and maintain their chewy consistency even with delivery. They separate the soup and noodles so that the noodles don’t turn to mush for delivery. The chicken katsu bao buns are also delicious.“

The chef really know flavors, everything was delicious and even customer service was great, Ana gave great recommendations and was so communicative, loved her!! The inside was very clean and music was a 10/10, was bopping all over the place. Definitely a new spot for us“

“You’d never think this little spot in a strip mall area is anything, but it’s some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Also the kimchi they give right when you sit down is amazing. I am a huge sushi fanatic and this is definitely Top 3 I’ve ever had. Service is wonderful.“

“Edit: posted a year ago but i STILLL COME HERE.
I've come here abt 20*** times so far and I've never had a bad food experience. I've had sushi from a lot of other AYCE, all you can eat, sushi places and I think this one is the best in terms of quality and variety. It's about $30 per person.
The fish here tastes fresh and NOT watered down like other places I've been to. The miso soup is good here too, it doesn't taste artificial and sweet like other places.
The special rolls are a little questionable, there are a lot of special rolls that aren't my type and extremely filling but I like the sashimi and regular rolls. The salmon is good here, so I always get salmon sashimi and Alaska rolls.
They also have other foods available in their AYCE like shumai, sesame chicken, lo mein, and calamari, takoyaki, etc. Most of their non-sushi items are good too. I have some friends who don't like seafood but they still get the ayce.
ONE THING TO NOTE, if you come here with a party of 5 or more, you will be charged a 15% service fee.“

“My favorite go-to place. I haven’t tried all of their dishes but I’ve had plenty which were delicious and stayed hot upon arrival.“

“After reading the reviews and asking a few patrons, I skipped the ramen for some special sushi rolls. The rainbow roll and the crunchy shrimp rolls were very, very good compared to standard expected airport sushi quality. You can taste the smokiness of the shrimp on that roll (likely torched, suggests it was handled with care rather than repackaged ready made sushi rolls).
Prices are generally 20% more expensive than your average sushi joint.“
