“The place looks and feels like little Greece.There are some great dishes. We love the shrimp pita! However, the chicken gyro was not nothing like the chicken gyro in Greece (at least the one in Athens). The sauce that comes with the pita is amazing!BTW- although overpriced- they do offer GF pita, which is nice!

“My sisters and I were there in October 2022, and we had a beautiful experience! The pastries were delicious (lemon ginger tart was our favorite) and the atmosphere and customer service were divine! The shop is gorgeous and the lady behind the counter was so very nice and welcoming ☺️! We live in PA but we'll definitely be back in the spring“

“My husband and I had another terrific meal at Broadway Bistro last evening.
We ordered from the special prix fixe menu that had so many great choices, it was hard to choose.
We settled on the scallops over polenta and the spring rolls with teryaki to start, and the panko horseradish flounder and grilled shrimp salad. Desert was the poached pear with raspberry sorbet.
Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The wait staff is friendly and extremely efficient, and just make dining there such a terrific experience!“

The banana bread is my favorite but All of the different baked goods are to die for! Never had anything but excellent here. “Went for the first time yesterday to do homework and I was pleasantly surprised! The turmeric latte was exactly what I wanted on a chilly morning and the eggo sando on a croissant was delicious ? there’s lot of cute seating areas inside and out, and the decor is super cute. I also tried the matcha cucumber and loved it so much I went back today to get another and pick up some croissants. Yesterday they were pretty busy and the person working, Carlos (who was alone at the time) had really great customer service and my drink and food came out so quick every time. Today, way more busy and more people working and still my drink came out really quick! Been telling my friends and family about this place!“

“As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“I have been going here for years how long I used to babysit for Danny and his brother. The food is delicious. The soups are amazing. Chicken cutlets are delicious. I really haven’t had anything here. I didn’t love.

Dietary restrictions: You can ask not to put extra salt in certain things and I find the soup is not salty. They’re pretty accommodating with everyone.“

“Family owned. The owner (I believe that’s who served me) is such a nice guy. I got the immunity juice and chicken Cesar wrap and both were fresh and delicious. I ate all of it up! Juice was a big quantity! I saved some for the next day and it was still great. Highly recommend this place. I called for pick up and it was ready in time. Fast service. Sweet man. No pressure to tip, so naturally I did leave a tip. I love supporting small businesses. Go try it. You won’t regret it.“

“This restaurant has potential for people looking for vegetarian dishes but things can be improved.

I ordered the veggie bowl, specifically because it contained avocado. When my plate arrived it was missing two ingredients, the sauerkraut and the avocado. I told the cashier about the missing ingredients and she brought me sauerkraut but they did not have avocado.

This situation could be fixed if the cook had told the cashier that there was no avocado. That way the cashier can tell the customers and they would be able to order another dish. That is how things work in other restaurants.

Additionally, I found the beans a bit bland. The flavor of the beans could be improved by cooking the beans with a little onion and fresh garlic, or a bit of cilantro.

In conclusion, there is a good variety of vegetarian dishes, the experience could be improved by proper communication between the staff and flavor enhancement. I hope to see these changes in the future.“

“My hubby and I popped in yesterday, and I am so glad we did. We bought a half-dozen cupcakes, and had fun picking out the flavors. (The options will make your mouth water!). He chose a few cookie dough cupcakes, while I got brownie, chocolate-covered strawberry, and vanilla with chocolate frosting cupcakes. “Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“
