“Went there on a Friday night. It took a little while for us to be seated. But once we got seated, our waiter was very attentive and courteous. The food was great and so were the drinks. We had lobster spaghetti and shrimp & crab ravioli. For the drink, i had the gold digger cocktail. It's a lychee martini, ifykyk. The DJ was a vibe. They played afrobeat, R&B/hip-hop, reggae, and Spanish music. It's very loud in there, not a place for convo, but more for turning up. Definitely will be coming back.“

“I love a good wine with my meal. That being said outside of a high end restraunt I have been no place in the area where the house sommelier picks the selection of wine like Saints and Scholars. You would have to buy a bottle if even then to get the quality of their house serve alone. I could write a book on the menu, not a bad choice to be found, but I will stop here. “Drove here with a buddy from Woodbridge nj and I’m really happy I did . They have 180 choices of wing flavors from sauces to dry rubs. Wings meaty and crispy the way wings should be ! “I love their happy hour that starts at noon as well as their beer selection but allow me to say this about their outside seating service: it is dam near nonexistent except for a tall beautiful black woman from a few months back and a young man named Norie who served me last week. These two people were the ONLY ones that were attentive to me in all the times I sat outside to drink. I was actually surprised how much Norie checked in with me, because aside from him and the aforementioned, I was often treated as an afterthought. Very often i would even go inside to the bar myself to get my own refills!
Again, they have a fabulous happy hour and i do like the out of the way location with my bus stop across the street. The food is decent if a little overpriced for bar food but at least its not as bad as The Bronx Public. Again, if you sit outside then hopefully your assigned server is Norie!“

“If you want an amazing taco, hit up The Hive for Taco Tuesday or any night!!! Simple and very tasty tacos at a very reasonable price. My favorite is the chicken and they are $3 a piece on Tuesday. They also have a beat the clock special for margaritas starting at 4:00. Jessica and Hamsel were super attentive and very friendly. Bar is clean and organized. “My brother & I went last Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. Our server was so wonderful ( & I am so sorry I do not know her name!!). I had a shell steak ( took a chance) that was amazing! Arrived at our table a sizzling 1 1/2 thick thing of beauty with a massive baked potato and veggies. Exactly as I ordered. The soda bread was warm & fresh. My brother could barely finish his burger that had to be at least a half pound of meat, perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was delicious. We split the chocolate cake, (to die for) that the server generously said was on her for my birthday. The atmosphere was cozy, uncrowded, quiet enough to talk, and the prices are very reasonable!. This place is a hidden gem & I will be back!“

“Upon entering we were seated in a preferred area as we wanted to watch the football game. We did have to ask a few times to get the TV channel changed. This was a Sunday around 2:40pm ish. The restaurant wasn’t packed but parties were seated throughout. Our server Tearia was also the bartender. I did have to reminder her about water but she let us know that she was on double duty and we could definitely tell she was busy at certain points. The MAIN reason I’m not doing 5 stars is because when we attempted to order the calamari appetizer and branzino entree we were told it was out of stock. It would’ve been best to know before hand because we were set on those dishes. But with Tearia’s suggestions we pivoted.

The wings were phenomenal, we did the everything sauce fried hard. 10/10, no notes, thanks Tearia! My lamb chops were cooked perfectly but I feel for a $45 the dish it should’ve came with more of the puree underneath (I didn’t feel like I had a side). Now normally we have to instruct restaurants to cook our catfish well/fried hard but Tearia recommended we leave it as is. It was fried perfectly and delicious. We did say we wished it came with 2 pieces of fish. The vegetable fried rice was also flavorful but had a lot of mushrooms (we aren’t fans). Overall a great restaurant, good for groups, and would visit again!“

My girlfriend had a regular margarita before the food came and a passion fruit margarita after the food. We started with chicharron con tostones and guacamole. Was apprehensive to try the tostones as I’ve never had them, glad I did. Tacos Tuesday is $1 tacos for chicken, steak, and carnitas. Minimum of 5 and you can mix and match. We had a combination of all 3. They were very good, maybe just a bit too much onion, but you remove some. We also had the Birria tacos! A must have.“

“Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. “Stopped in for the soft launch of the bar, which is an extension of the resturant which is now under new management. For us here in Port Morris, it’s a great retreat with an intimate setting blocks from the Randall’s Island Connector.
