We ordered a combo of tacos and a combo of birria mulitas, the food was super delicious, we loved it.
The person who served us was very friendly, the place was clean, there were two tables under a tent where we could eat.
The wait time was short considering that there were several people who had already ordered before us.
Very good size of the taquitos and mulitas in relation to their cost.

“We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, so it’s overdue for a review after a delicious lunch with too many amazing menu items to choose from for just one sitting. We have followed this family-owned and operated establishment since the days when they were a food truck, then they moved to a small place on a side street in Verona and now at the current bigger location. This is authentic Thai food of the highest quality, and it has never declined over all these years.

The pad thai has true flavor, not excessively sweet. If you want something sweet, the sticky rice is perfect. Pad see ew noodles are fantastic, as are the curries. Amazing veggie dumplings and spring rolls, and saving the best for last…the shrimp buns- lightly breaded and fried whole shrimp on a fluffy open bun with a lightly spicy mayo based sauce…you have to go just for these alone!

Also the ambience is great - big rounded windows let in plenty of light to contrast with the exposed brick. Plus the service is friendly. We really love this place.“

“I have to admit that my expectations were low because traditional Mexican food on the east coast is rare as hens teeth. My wife and I were amazed to find the fresh ingredients and complimentary flavors reminded us of some of our favorite restaurants on Cozumel. My only complaint is that the food is too good for a food Truck. Mike already figured this out because he's opening a restaurant. I can't wait to see his presentation on some colorful Mexican crockery. Traditional rum, tequila, and mescal drinks would make a perfect evening.“

“Okay, we've been coming to this truck since 2008 or so, when my son was a student at NJIT.I'm going to say that the best food here are the platters, especially the chicken platter; unfortunately my son insisted on the Samosa Tikki Sandwich. It was good, but the platters, with extra white sauce, and a sprinkle of red pepper, is worth the visit. Enjoyed the sandwich. The picture is only a fourth of the sandwich.“

We had two food trucks planned, but unfortunately, the second one was completely unprepared to handle the crowd of 100 guests. Michael, being the consummate professional, immediately stepped up and adapted to the situation. Not only did he manage his own flow with ease, but he also picked up the slack and accommodated way more guests than initially expected. His quickness, attention to detail, and ability to stay on his feet was truly impressive. And let’s not forget the food – the smoked wings were INCREDIBLE! Our entire teaching staff is still raving about the meal days later. Michael’s Backyard BBQ was the highlight of our event, and I highly recommend them for any gathering. You won't be disappointed!“
