“I came across this restaurant when I was looking for some Korean food to eat in the neighborhood. I found that they have some Korean items on their menu. I came in a little bit past 5pm and I looked at the menu but didn’t see any Korean food options. So I ordered their house burger with fries. Then I decided to ask, and turned out they have a dinner menu after 6pm. She was kind enough and let me ordered their kimchi pancake from it. The burger was very delicious. The bun has a nice crust all over it. The patty was tender and juicy. It also came with a healthy and generous amount of lettuce. The fries were okay, nothing too special. And the kimchi pancake!!!!!! It was so delicious! It was thin and crispy and had kimchi pieces in every single bites. It might a little oily, but that’s what made it so delicious. I like that you get 2 different types of foods from 2 different continents, and they are both authentic and delicious. The server was very nice. Highly recommended. I’d love to come back again!

“This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!“

“Cangiano's is a delightful gem of a find for all things Italian in Jersey City. We found this Deli to be an excellent source for Italian groceries and cooked meals, including sandwiches and pastas. There is an enormous selection of options,and the staff is super nice and friendly. We had the Penne Pasta in Vodka Sauce as well as a Grilled Chicken sandwich and both were excellent. I had a spinach and feta omelette that came with home fries and toast all for $8.95, plus a hot chocolate and side of bacon for only $2 each. My son's egg and cheese bagel sandwich was only $4!! Compared to other places nearby that charge $22 for an omelette or $18 for a breakfast sandwich, the Hell's Kitchenette was a godsend! “So, no shade to anyone but….there’s Subway, and then there’s Vito’s. I had to stop eating at Subway sometime ago. The quality drastically reduced and it just didn’t hit the same for me. Last summer, a friend and I came across Vito’s. We were craving a good hero/cold cut and checked out some of the reviews and saw that they were good, so went inside. We ordered turkey heroes and they were EXCEPTIONAL. Now I know some may think that it isn’t hard to make or find a good turkey cold cut, but trust me, it IS, and I’ve had many bad turkey cold cuts. It’s quite disappointing. What really makes a bad turkey cold cut bad, is, well, the turkey lol. You can taste when it isn’t quality turkey, when it’s processed, etc. It just doesn’t taste the same. When tasting these turkey cold cuts from Vito’s, the bread was amazing, the turkey was amazing, it was fresh and filling! It was also good service. The staff took our sandwich orders and nailed them! I went back last week for another turkey cold cut and it was also more than exceptional. So simple, yet exceptional. Thank you for quality heroes, Vito’s. I need to go back to try some of their pastas and sauces because everything is simply made and authentic. I will absolutely be back. Also, they have a happy hour, everyone!
