“So glad to have come across this place!! I have been here twice so far and gotten take out once. The staff are super friendly and greet everyone as you walk in, but the aromas of the food greet you as you walk up to the building. They have a breakfast menu in addition to the lunch/dinner menu and I have happily eaten from both. The portions are generous and for what you get, the prices are amazing. Everything I have had so far tasted amazing, and the food is very fresh. The amount of avocado on every order was fantastic and there is not an upcharge for it. The only complaint I can muster up is that the location is a little small, and since the food is so good, there may be a little wait if you come at a busy time. But that is really the only thing, and the food is definitely worth the wait. I can say that for takeout, the food traveled well and was still a great temperature when I got home. Will be back a bunch of times, and will try to remember to take photos next time!“
“Really good food and atmosphere. Watch out for the automatic tip on the receipt. They didn't include it on Thursday but did on Friday. Usually I tip 20% but when places automatically add 18%, I don't tip extra when places auto tip. They also included a tip line even tho they added an auto tip lol, not falling for that trick.“
“Came here to pick up food for the second time tonight, I can say they have been absolutely amazing both times. Me and my partner got cheese flautas and my aunt got the whiskey burger. The food was exactly what we asked for and was delicious. My partner and I are vegetarian and they have lots of options for us which is awesome. Now the horchata, the large is HUGE and it is so good I didnt even want to share it lol that is how delicious it is. There was a man singing and his voice is great it made me so happy. I definitely will be coming to eat there on my birthday. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant such a hidden gem.“

The Guacamole was fresh, simply seasoned, with chunks of avocado!I had the Shrimp Tacos, perfection - like tasting Summer in Cancun.Phil had the chicken & steak quesadilla Phenomenal!We shared rice and beans - perfect accompaniment to our light dinners.We rounded out the meal with coffees with(With warm milk) and an order of Churros. “A great roadside restaurant! This is such a great local favorite restaurant. The food is phenomenal, and the service is very friendly. Be careful though, because during the weekends and evenings, the waits can be over an hour! Get there early or get a reservation! Other than that, highly recommended!“

“I was surprised by how good the food was. I got a burrito bowl with carne and it was fantastic. The meat was tender and savory, and the combination of flavors left me wanting more. The atmosphere was really nice and casual. The dining area was semi outdoors with a sliding roof that they will open/close depending on the weather. “The tacos are delicious, particularly the authentic Mexican Birria tacos. A bit spicy but not too much. Service was great. Very kind and friendly young lady at counter and food was ready fairly quickly. I took my order to go but the decor is very nice if dining in though it is a small place with only a few tables.“
“Order takeout from this restaurant for the first time tonight. Chips and salsa were good. Chips were plentiful and thin and crispy and the salsa was chunky and juicy. I just wish they gave more salsa as we had excess chips and not enough salsa. Barbacoa chimichanga burrito was delicious and very filling. Pulled pork sliders as an appetizer were good too. Maduros were delicious. Apple empanadas were absolute favorite will definitely be ordering years with every order in the future. Only disappointing food item were the chicken tostadas. These are a staple for me at every Mexican restaurant I visit. I know each restaurant makes them different. I just didn’t prefer they were the way they were made here. This restaurant made them with chunks of grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, and shredded cheese. Overall it was a good experience. I just wouldn’t order the chicken tostadas again in the future.“
“My family and I were in the mood for Mexican and I happened to find good reviews on Yelp for Freppe's! There is parking in the rear of the restaurant, we walked in through the back and were seated right away. Cute little place looks family ran and operated with a party room upstairs. We started with the sampler appetizer and glad we did. It was so good and enough for the of us 4, it had wings, flautas, wings, & cheese quesadilla. My husband and I shared the Mocajete AMAZING!! Never had veggies mixed in the Mocajete, but to be honest it is a great addition. Portion is huge we both had lunch for the next day! My boys had the Birria tacos and chipotle creamy chicken and shrimp they were very happy with their choices. The only thing that was a little disappointing is the wait staff is more like teenagers so not very attentive; however, for the quality and flavor of the food I'll deal with it. If in the mood for some authentic Mexican cuisine you need to come here!!!!“

“Our waiter Alex was outstanding! He was fast on any refills whether it was the chips or the drinks we ordered. I swear he didn't stop moving. I saw him sweep, clean tables, fix the floor layout all while helping the customers he had. The food was amazing as always and reasonably priced for the sizing and quality of the food. It was incredible clean and there was a great atmosphere. I highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake Chimis they are the best dessert I think I've ever had! Definitely recommend coming here!“

“Found a little gem on my way up north. Great customer service and great prices. The atmosphere was a mixed crowd from young and an older crowd. The place had many activities for their customers. The people in general (customers and workers) are very welcoming and friendly. There’s parking in the back and street parking is not so bad in the area.“
