“We've had the pleasure of eating many dishes from Jerkies, and everything has been delightful. Standout traditional dishes include the jerk chicken and curry goat. Don't sleep on their vegetarian options either-- the jerk mushroom sliders, jerk cauliflower, and collards and cabbage were all delicious as well. Did I mention the peach cobbler? To top it all off, the team operating this restaurant is top-notch, the kind of people and business you want to support.“

“I’m so happy I came across this Jamaican restaurant! Every dish here is freshly prepared. Not sure who the chef is here, but give that man a raise! Lol….authentic Jamaican food is definitely a big plus for this location. They give you many options aside from their famous rice and peas with a side of chicken. They also have a variety of soups on their menu. Their prices are very fair and for that reason I will definitely be back, and this time for some good ol’ oxtails! The establishment is very clean, and the staff is very polite. Only bad thing I can say is, why didn’t I come here sooner!!!! Guys keep up the great work. You’ve gained a repeat customer. The decor is so island vibe you can just sit and take a moment to relax. Now the most important... the food is like no other. Never stingy with portions, and I haven't had one thing from there that did not meet my expectations. The macaroni puts everyone to rest that Jamaicans should not make it bc they have theeeeeeeeee best. The oxtails and curry are seasoned to perfection and taste like your grandma made it. “I have been eating here for a little under a year and the food has never disappointed me favorite is the curry, goat, rice and peas, cabbage and plantain. However, I have tried the fried chicken red pea soup , jerk, chicken, oxtails, curry chicken, beef patty. Regardless, what you pick you’re gonna find chunks of ginger in it, so be careful as you eat some meals are spicier than others, but all are very flavorful in my opinion. I am hoping in the future to try the salmon option when they have a fish fry in the summer. I personally do not like any Jamaican restaurants, macaroni, and cheese, so I have not tried their version at all, nor have I tried the typical African-American sides like collard greens, candied yams, and so forth. I stick to the typical jamaican options for sides. I see signs for roti too never tried that yet . Rank the atmosphere three out of five because the neighborhood is a bit rough know in the area so be mindful of limitations on parking and people randomly standing on the side walk.“

“I have been going to Alice’s for about 5 years now. I am so happy with the food especially the stew peas jerk chicken curry goat and oxtails. Even when I was trying to lay off the rice for a bit they would try to accommodate me if they had extra food (yam etc) left over from breakfast to substitute for the rice. Whenever I have visitors I get them food from there. Even persons from Jamaica love his food especially the Jerk chicken. The owners are very kind. Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed. Oh and a nice surprise is that he uses oxtails in his stew peas meal 😬“

Today I ordered an oxtail dinner that was by far THE BEST oxtails I've ever have at a restaurant!!! I had to call the restaurant and tell the person that answered the phone how much I enjoyed my meal. The service is always on point as well. The staff is very friendly and professional!! “Came in around 8pm after worked, tired from work, didn’t want to travel for my normal place I go for my west Indian food , I find this little gem and ordered to my dietary standards, got curry goat and all veggies and food was fresh tasting and very well seasoned and tender, was a bit surprised as I don’t like trying new places , definitely will be back to try different menu options, service is great and a welcoming atmosphere.. “This place has in this town for 28 years, there is a reason why they have been around so long. The owner is this wonderful sweet lady that, she is definitely Jamaican be a those Pattie’s hit different. The oxtails are succulent and falls off the bones, the plantain’s are sweet and crispy on the edges. If you’re looking for delicious Jamaica food go here, always call before you go because she starts cooking in the morning and at times the food isn’t ready until after 12pm but it’s very much worth the wait. ????The prices are very reasonable but those Pattie’s are to die for.“
