“Don’t be fooled by the smallness of the place. The breakfast sandwiches are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). I provided a picture of what I wanted and they did not disappoint! Besides looking beautiful, the cake was moist and flavorful, even days later. Highly recommended!“

“The food at Oceanos is amazing, dishes are cooked to perfection and service is quick but not rushed. Prices are a little high but the quality is worth it. We have been to Oceanos several times for dinner and have never been dissappiointed and will for sure return again. “This place I just saw on the Map with 5 Stars so I went to see for my self, they have freezes full of different types of ready to go Ice cream, Cones, cups and sandwiches. But I asked for a banana split which it was delicious. They can scoop different flavors or they have the soft ice-cream machine as well. The Lady was very friendly and nice. She looked like she enjoyed decorating the desert. I will go back again and they deserve 10 Stars.“

“Delillo pastry shop is one of those neighborhood gems to sit and enjoy exceptional coffee and pastries that are out of this world in quality. We highly enjoyed their Eclairs and Cappuccinos. They also sell a variety of Torrone flavors and we bought several as a gift for family.

The shop employees were so nice and helpful as well. This is truly a great place to stop and sit either inside, or out on the patio, and enjoy true Italian pastry. The only downside is that our stomachs ran out of room!

It was nice to know that they also ship out of state! We will certainly be getting more in future.“

Steph did a fantastic job, the cake was delicious and we ordered cupcakes in another flavor to accompany the cake. I had sent her some ideas and photos and she went above and beyond. For the toppers of the cupcakes I thought she would just do an icing decoration, but she added sugar cookies and they came out so cute and complimented our theme perfectly! Thank you again!“

“My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“

“I have ordered from carousel cakes several times now and let me tell you …they’re fabulous! They come frozen (which is actually so convenient) and they taste amazing. I’ve tried the rocky road cake, the key lime pie, napoleon cake and the banana chocolate mouse. All so delicious. Definitely defrost them the day before in the fridge and they come out perfect each time. So happy to find this gem and will continue to use them for all my events!“

“Tried the USR location this morning as it's located around the corner from my office. Front staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with assisting me to navigate options as a first time visitor. There was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. I came with a 2 year old, she needed a diaper change, they told me the restrooms were closed to customers and only for staff. I got my little girl her ice cream and a guy who appeared to be a manager told us to get out because they dont allow indoor seating. it's a shame because the ice cream is great and it's a great location“

“Capy Tres Leche Cake is seriously one of the best tres leches cakes I’ve had. The cake is soft and perfectly soaked, so it’s really moist without feeling too heavy. The sweetness is just right, and the creamy milk flavor really stands out in a good way. You can tell a lot of time and effort goes into making each cake.

It also looks great when it’s served, which makes it perfect for parties or special occasions. Everyone who tries it always seems to enjoy it. “For many years I had Valencia cake in practically every party my parents took me. And of course, my birthday. I had not had Valencia cake in a very long time. But for my 75th Birthday I wanted Valencia. My husband and I travel to the store on Burnside Ave. First I must say the man behind the counter was not very friendly. He sounded like we were boring him. I got a big cake, $40.00. It was not very well decorated but since it was for me, I dismissed it. The cake was super dry. Very little cream in the middle. I wanted pineapple but he did not have it in the size I wanted. The cake tasted like nothing I remember. It had no flavor!! What happened to that delicious, moist, flavorful cake I remember!!! SO SAD!!“

“I had been craving a Cuban sandwich and a fresh-squeezed orange juice for a while. After finishing my overnight shift, I decided to take a walk and stop by this bakery for breakfast. The place was clean, reasonably priced, and had a small seating area. Instead of heading straight home, I decided to sit and enjoy my breakfast there.

The Cuban sandwich and fresh orange juice hit the spot! My only advice is to be patient, as the place can get busy. However, the ladies behind the counter are friendly, efficient, and keep the line moving quickly. Even during the rush, you’ll be in and out before you know it. Highly recommend! 😊🍊🥪“

“Although the presentation only looks good from one angle (bald spot in the back etc. SMH) the cake taste delicious not too sweet just right the blue frosting had everyone’s lips blue tho it didn’t taste like dye the guava filling was on point we truly enjoyed it. The total for the cake was $80 and it was ready on the date and time I requested. Would recommend just don’t get any pictures on your cake they need to get their skills up. The passion fruit dessert is a go as well.“

One of the reviews says the person who is the wife of a city inspector and says that this inspector found the place dirty. This is not logical or true because when that happens they close the businesses until what they find is fixed and they fine the merchants. Our and your bakery has never failed any of the city inspections since their first visit and we have never had to close our business for health reasons. As merchants we know that the competition uses these means to throw garbage at the reputation of its most successful competitors and that is unfair competition. We do not fall for that and we focus on delivering the best product and service to our customers. We are here to listen to any complaint and resolve it if you speak to us in a forum where we can defend our work and seek a solution if warranted.
