The food here is excellent, and it's one of the most practical spots for a quick and satisfying lunch. The service is top-notch—I was seated at the bar and really enjoyed watching the kitchen in action. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality you get.

“Delicious food and very nice service from Rebecca. I had a party of 6, with some vegetarians, and someone who had to eat something gentle on the stomach. We sat at the bar and our server, Rebecca, was super nice, attentive, bilingual (which was helpful for our group), and gave great food recommendations.

I ordered the braised short rib 5/5 would order again in a heartbeat, especially for the price. Comes with brasato sauce a lemon vinaigrette, perfect for cutting the richness. Some of our party ordered veggie burgers, others ordered chicken noodle soup. I also ordered a mocha.

Definitely eat here if you’re in the area and in the mood for comfort food this winter!“

They were really nice, the service was quick, and the portions were great. Also super affordable within the city!

“Classic diner with an extensive menu that includes daily specials. The parking lot was full, which is always a good sign for me. I tried the daily special of the gyro platter and the chicken noodle soup. The soup was sufficiently savory and soothing, the lamb in the gyro platter was the typical pre-slide thin patties, the lettuce was fresh romaine with nice thick slices of juicy tomatoes and red onions with a generous dusting of briny feta. The portions are also generous and I wasn’t able to finish my meal. The prices are very reasonable and the service was exceptional. Definitely adding this Tibbett’s to my list of go-to diners.“

“We went for brunch to this restaurant with our grandchildren. We were greeted by the nicest waiters of all time. My husband and I had the Club Sandwich and our grandson had pancakes and bacon. The portions were so generous and quite affordable. Our granddaughter was sleeping in a stroller and the lady who greeted us even helped us tilt the back of her stroller down and find the perfect place to sit to accommodate her. “I came here regularly when the original owner George was in charge. Charming guy who stopped what he was doing to yell Hello to everyone who walked in. The food was regular diner food that he elevated. Huge portions and decent price. He retired or left and people who worked for him took over. I rarely go now. Food is decent but prices went up and portions are smaller. The servers are good and personable. Place seems to always be busy since there are several schools and offices in the area. Still decent but you don't get as much value for your money and no charm and personality from George.“

Chit Chat Diner is the perfect late-night spot, open 24 hours with an endless menu to satisfy all your cravings! We tried the quesadillas and the Sampler, and both were hits. The quesadillas were deliciously cheesy, and the Sampler was full of fun bites. The mozzarella sticks were piping hot and fresh, but the fries were a bit cold—just a tiny hiccup. The chicken tenders were juicy, and the sauces? A total game-changer! A real "star" quality with these "little dippers".

Service was spot-on, and the atmosphere has charming McKinsey Childs decor that's inviting while feeling warm and cozy. It’s no wonder this place has been crowned the best diner in New Jersey! I’ll definitely be back the next time those late-night cravings hit. ?“

“Michael's is part of a dying breed in the city. A 24-hour diner with a full menu. Everything I ever had here was good, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Most of the time being in Michael's is a time warp, the same at 2 PM and 2 AM.

Weekend brunch comes with 2 drinks so if you ever wanted 2 screwdrivers at 11:30 AM on a Saturday along with a huge omlette, they got you.“

As far as chicken n Waffles d*** fuk unless u specify fried chicken and waffles, u will get tenders as for the gravy stupid for ur chicken, ur supposed to use syrup with this plate. If you did get fried chicken the cost would go up, duhh let me guess u would b**** about that to. “Back in my home state and staying with my sister in the Bronx, there was no way I was going home without coming here for some hometown New York style diner good grub. I typically grab Dunkin Donuts on a daily but it’s just something about that diner style coffee in that old school but traditional white mug. It was so good. I opted for a a western omelette with turkey and Lo AND BEHOLD, they put real cut up/chunked up pieces of turkey in my omelette too.“
