“Spent the day over at Niagara Falls and decided to eat in Canada tbh. So many options. But a lot of places needed reservations so we decided to eat some Italian this day. Was real delicious. Had the bruschetta bread with garlic. And then my dad had an eggplant Parmesan and I had the penne arrabietta . Was real good. Good mix of peppers and spicy sausage I loved the taste and flavor. Portions were perfect. I don’t get to eat a lot of food Italian food so this was a good place. And then for desert we shared the Cinnabon cheesecake. Service was good and helpful as well. I’d def go back.“
“Enjoyed lunch as part of an event here. The drinks and food were great and the service was exceptional. One of the waitresses Michelle was so thoughtful and even took great care of the tables of children we had to make sure everyone was happy! Bartenders were great and made a delicious espresso martini.“
“Edit: They called me back and apologized and explain that the online ordering system was messed up. So good customer service on there part happy that they made things right with my order. Original review: WARNING if you order on slice or online for delivery the online system will mess your phone number up. So I wasn’t sure how many stars to leave because my order was technically messed up. I always order from here and usually for pickup since it’s so close and I had delivery maybe once or twice. I live in an apartment place with a locked front entrance so you usually meet delivery drivers at the door. They will usually call and I go to meet them at the front door. It was an hour and I had not received a call nor my order so I called to ask about my order. When I called they said that they had called me and I did not answer. I asked what number they called and the online order system messed up the first 3 digits of my phone number. The phone number was correct on my end but was messed up on theirs. They apologized for the mistake and re sent the delivery guy back. And I received the food quickly and thankfully it wasn’t too cold. But maybe no more delivery for me and only pick up.“
“Great little Italian restaurant in Point Pleasant. Reservations are highly recommended as when we left, it was an hour wait. The smell in the air of fresh Italian food was intoxicating. This is a BYOB place, so bring the vino. Dinner portions are of a large size. Comes with soup or salad and homemade pasta or vegetables. Seating is tight. Service was excellent, and owner stops by every table to drop off a starter and later to see how you are doing. Only complaints would be the homemade pasta is very aldente, and the Caesar dressing is very vinegar forward, and I like acid. Would definitely go back again. Oh and the pistachio Gelato is a must have.“
“La Cipolina, such a treat! The service was impeccable, while being friendly and fun. The food was outstanding! Dinner with friends from apps to dessert, each dish was better than the next. And BYOB!! Perfect meal perfect night. We will be back!“
“So we have been going to Pete and Elda’s for about 30 years….Love, Love, Love it! Recently we have been noticing some really Sad changes….First! They seem to rush! They rush the apps, so they aren’t even done and bring out a half cooked pizza when you’re still trying to enjoy the appetizers! Not sure why! We go to Carmen’s pizza with expectations! We happily wait a hour or so sometimes because we Love the pizza!! There is no need to rush it! Second, the fried Calamari…Always so yummy! Now it comes out and it isn’t even done, it is swimming in so much grease that’s it’s disgusting!! I would try to use napkins to absorb the grease but it’s just this soggy disgusting thing ☹️ The garlic bread with cheese, Amazing!! If only they would cook it so the cheese is melted inside! And the Pizza! You rush it instead of letting it get crispy and all melty……We are just so sad lately, We know the potential because you do it all the time..I have tried to mention some of these things to mgmt, but not sure they heard..Might be time to retire one of our Favorites “
“A great find! Love the creative menu and the food continually impresses - whether the seafood, steaks, or traditional Italian. The Bolognese and the Calamari are always on point. The service really stands out, especially Juan and the attentive bus staff.“
“Food is incredible here and the options all sound so good. The portions are huge, I highly recommend sharing the entree if you order appetizers (or you can have leftovers). The arancini are so good and crispy. For entrees, we got the Veal, Stuffed Chicken, and Spicy Burrata Pasta (add chicken cutlet). They were all so tasty. It’s BYOB which is nice as well. Reservations book up, so definitely look in advance if you’re going on a weekend. Will definitely be returning!“
“I don’t know what your feelings are about lamb tagine but it’s rare to find this dish prepared as well as it is at this restaurant. Service was impeccable. Great atmosphere. Outstanding food. If you eat vegetarian, you’d also be very well catered for here. Great place. I plan to return just for the lamb tagine!“
“This restaurant is one of the very few to consistently have 4.8 and higher ratings since it first burst onto the scene less than a decade ago. They established and proved themselves as an outstanding culinary stronghold in a small restaurant space on route 88 for several years. But, the unrelenting demand and extensive waitlist prompted the owners to jump up the atmosphere to match their superlative upscale dining. They moved just 2 miles into a more suitable, spacious and comfortable setting, with soaring ceilings, and an upscale vibe. The founders, Dominic and Nicki, work the room and their very prestigious regulars w finesse and gracious hospitality, and the food remains top notch! Anyone who dares to ping them with a subpar review, clearly needs to rethink their gastronomic goals! That being said, this place is right up there with, and if not superseding, nyc heavyweights Il Mulino and it truly an extraordinary experience of top notch gourmet mixed with old school Italian ambiance! If I could give it 10 stars I would. If the Sopranos were food, this would be it!“
“I’ve been coming to Federici’s since I was a child, and now I bring my own child. Best thin crust pizza around, and definitely some of the best thin crust pizza in New Jersey. I also really like their meatballs, especially the meatball parm sandwich. I’ve had a few of their pastas and haven’t been let down. The house salad dressing is homemade and I highly recommend it! Federici’s is worth the trip!“
“Justin and everyone at Belo are amazing people and have amazing food. When it comes to their pizza by far the best specialty pizza's around. My personal favorites are the Hot Chick Salad, he even lets me customize it with baby spinach, the Sweetie Pie and Cheesesteak Pizza with bello Sauce. I put Belo sauce on EVERYTHING! Love you guys!!! You are THE BEST!“
“I love this place their pizzas are great the cutie pies are the perfect size for 2 people and a great price the penne vodka is really good too. The staff has been very polite and helpful every time if you haven't been definitely give them a try.“
“Such a pleasure hosting our father's 75th birthday dinner at Piccola Italia. Friends and family were wowed by the menu selection, authenticity, service and preparation. Several of our guests had never been to Piccola before and we are thrilled to hear they're eager to return soon. Of course, we'll be back!“
“I came to Da Rosario with my family for lunch. It was so good from start to finish. Felice, our server, was awesome! He handled our daughter's gluten and dairy allergy carefully. She had the GF pizza with tomato sauce, and it was delicious. We will definitely be back!“
“I gave Ottimo 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I told the waiter I wanted to have potato pasta for dinnerHe said Gnocchi dokey!?Pros and cons of Óttimo...Pros:• The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who knew their menu inside and out.• The food? Absolutely divine! We tried a few different dishes, and each one was expertly prepared and presented. The flavors were bold and exciting, and the portions were extremely generous.(The Pan Seared Gnocchi and Butternut Squash Tortellini we're delicious!!!!)• Large and small tables available, making Ottimo perfect for either a special occasion or just a night out with friends!Cons:None!!!What an incredible dining experience! Óttimo exceeded all of my expectations.“
“Fantastic. Nice selection of prepared foods and pantry staples in a not-gigantic space. Super helpful staff, and maybe owner(?) helped me find what I needed, carried it to my car, and let me know if I call ahead on a future visit, they can get me what I want the next day. I haven’t tried my take out items yet but they look goooooood!“
“I was there for a family sheva brachos. The food was amazing, wonderful, outstanding, and they were able to tweak things on the spot for my family members with allergies.I didn't have a problem with one of the servers dropping and breaking the plate with something. It can happen to anyone. I was not happy though that he didn't notice (didn't check to notice) that so of the spilled food got onto people's (children's) shoes. Ok, it happens as well, he didn't realize. What I didn't like was that while people were still sitting at tables and talking, they started cleaning up. Not empty plaltes but water glasses, napkins.... The person sitting next to me (the one who was paying the bill, I e. organized the event, chose the place and gave them business) was approached three times during the speech whether she was done with her main course. She said no three times, but on the fourth she said ok, fine take it away. One more: the servers barely smiled. It was not too inviting.Bottom line: I WOULD go there for dinner with my family again possibly, but I would NOT make my simcha there or recommend this place. As of now. Maybe, hopefully, I will change my mind later.Dietary restrictions: Considering that they are a dairy restaurant, they were able (agreed) to skip dairy on the salad and the main course to accommodate us and gluten free for some other people.I wish they had some pareve desserts as well, but that's not a must at a DAIRY place“
“Joe Leone catered the repast in my home for my husband's best friend. The food was delicious and easy to present and the whole process was so easy. The information from heating and serving instructions to deadlines for changes where clear and concise. I was particularly impressed with the sausage and peppers Bianca. It was over the top delicious--the sausage was great, the veg perfectly cooked and the potatoes just made it a bit more interesting. Thank you for making a difficult day manageable.“
“We found this spot last minute because the pizza place we were headed to had a 30+ minute wait- and I’m so glad they did because the food was fabulous. I’ve lived in the area for over 40 years and go to the same places that have become Jersey shore institutions when we get the thin crust pizza craving but La Lupa rates above them all. We ordered the mussels marinara, chicken and margarita pizza, garlic knots that were the size of my hand and even dessert! Just wow. The staff and possibly owner were super welcoming, friendly and we just could not get over how attentive they were. He made the marinara extra spicy for me for my mussels and the sauce even challenged my Nona’s (sorry Nona). The thin crust pizza was wonderful. Just the right amount of toppings, great sauce and wonderful dough/crust. We loved the food so much we asked if they deliver to ensure this becomes are go to pizza delivery from now on! The only reason they got 4 stars for atmosphere is because it’s a small little place with minimal tables as it’s a pizza place from a venue perspective with restaurant menu that I can’t wait to continue to try!“
“This was my 1st time ordering after my friends recommended them. Their meatballs are soft and delicious. Their sauce is thick which is very rich which is delicious. They have the option of a 12" pizza which is a great idea. The crust was thick which i like. This is great for 1 or 2 people.I would definetly recommend them.“
“Best mussels I've had in a long time. Big, meaty and the red-sauce was nice and chunky. Perfect (like La Strada used to be). Also, the cheeseteak I had was probably best I've had in NJ; bread was perfect, lots of meat and flavor. Amazing, top-notch food for such an unassuming place.“
“Solid Pizza, ? definitely a unique style and experience. The sauce has a sweeter, more intense flavor than most traditional slices. But definitely a solid slice..Parking: Enough place to park. Either on the side of the store or across the street there’s a public parking lot (free)Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: ??“
“Phone ordering was simple and easy. The person taking the order was knowledgeable and offered to apply day specials to my order even when I didn’t know about it. Payment was processed over the phone with no problems. Pick up was in time and the food was ready and hot as it should be. Aside from all that, it was delicious. We love Big Boy’s Pizza. Thank you.“
“We came here on a Saturday night with a reservation for a group of 6. You enter through the pizza shop to get to the dining room and were promptly seated. Our server was excellent! She was very polite, friendly, did not mind repeating herself and was very patient with the elderly members of our group. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and everyone enjoyed their selection. Found a new gem with great prices plus BYOB. Only downside is the dining room gets a little loud. But we will definitely go back!“
“Stopped in on a whim for lunch. We happen to be going to Italy in a month and had the good fortune to run into owner/chef Johnny ( prob Gianni) who not only made us the most delicious risotto with sausage and spinach but spent his time with us giving us great recommendations for our trip! The pizza was great too! Will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: The chef offered a vegetarian risottoHe was very accommodating and I’m sure would make something on request.“
“Always great food and service! They also have an extremely efficient takeout system. The staff is always very friendly and quick. Favorites are the house salad, Jim's salad, cauliflower crust pizza and chicken parm. Definitely a shore favorite!!“
“So the food is wonderful, I can't have mozz and the pizza is so good even without. The salads are perfect. But the service is also outstanding. They accidentally sent me a large cheese pizza instead of no cheese, when I called they credited me immediately and I was able to get a small no cheese very speedy. And the woman answering the phone was so kind. Thank you Qua! Now I have an excuse to order more often. ?Dietary restrictions: Great for those who want pizza but can't tolerate mozzarella.“
“This was an absolute hidden gem! We were trying to find something midway for our friends meeting us and decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise! Our waiter was super nice and provided great service. They even accommodated a special request of clams on the half shell, and they were great. Shrimp scampi over linguine was tasty and lobster ravioli was delicious and even came with half a lobster tail. Desserts were great too. Definitely will be back. Ambiance was a little dated, but it was clean including the bathrooms.“
“This place is AMAZING ?, the food is the best around, the service is the best around, and to top it off the owner and their family are amazing. I ordered a thin crust round pie, only problem is they didn’t really have what I wanted on the menu. But…. Without hesitation they said “we can make it” no hard time…. No extra fee’s…. Just a let’s make the customer happy type of attitude. Never a bad meal or experience I’ll be a Romeos customer for life. God bless ????“
“Ordered for the first time based off of reviews on slice app and I am so glad I did! Hands down best Italian food in Brick. Pizza was so delicious and crispy and the manicotti dinner was amazing. 2 pasta dinners and a large pie was about $50 and totally worth it! Def my new fave place! Also, we got free order or zeppoles! Win!“
“I've lived in Howell my whole life and just discovered Nonna's!!! Can't say enough good things about this place. It is definitely our go-to for Italian food.... I've never had a bad dish food is always amazing as well as the family that owns it!“
“We drive past this place all of the time but haven't stopped. We were riding by on our bikes and thought we would stop for lunch. We will definitely be back. Pizza was really good, loved the fresh garlic bread. We will definitely be back.“
“I love their pizza. Great crust and toppings (sauce and peppers) Their White Pie is good. I got mine with Broccoli. The Broccoli pieces were big which I had no problem but if you prefer smaller maybe ask them to cut them smaller.I also got their Fried calamari, which I did not like too much because it was mix with Fried Octopus, I wish it had all ring Calamari .“
“I was on my way home from Dr ..so I said let me go in and try a slice of pizza..omg the pizza was so delicious.. my first time here and it was well worth it .. can't wait to go back and try other food also.. I'm happy I stop in ..I live in Howell area ..“

“Three of us ate together for lunch and this what we had. White Beans and Escarole, "delicious" yet short in volume, my brother had the Salmon Bites (like a steak cut up) with tomato and spinach with a "generous portion of salmon." I had the side of Broccoli Rabe (FANTASTIC) and a Margarita Pizza and it was cold so we took what was left home. The photos are what the pizza looks like when you get home. We will Definitely be back again!!“
“Maria’s Pizza comes highly recommended. The owner/staff was so kind and professional and exemplified the best customer service I have experienced in a while. I inquired about catered food and the owner was willing to prepare something for me in a way different than he normally makes it and it was prior to a holiday when he must have been filling multiple catering orders. Needless to say, it was delicious and people were asking where I got it from at the party. I have always liked their food but this was a positive experience and one I won’t forget. They will come highly recommended from me!“
“One of the best places to grab cheesesteaks and subs in the area. Solid pizza and great entrees as well. They are my go to stop for subs (#3 extra oil & vinegar), cheesesteaks, and lasagna. Oh, the simple spaghetti with meat sauce is another hit!“
“Born and raised on Vinnies Pizza. I moved to upstate NY 25 years ago but every summer when I bring the wife down to the old neighborhood the first place we stop is Vinnies. It is still just as good as the first time I had it around 30+ years ago.“
“From time to time I read various restaurant reviews and can’t believe some of the insanity I read. I eat here often and have to believe some of the negativity is a complete lie. Trust me folks, everything here is top of the line. From the food to the hard working staff, there’s no better place in NJ! Ignore the people that should just stay home, and ignore me if you choose so, and just try for yourself.“
“Papa V's has some of the best pizza around the area. Nothing is like a north jersey pie, but that being said, this is the closest you'll get. The crust is great, and the toppings are perfect. A Margherita is our go-to pie, but an eggplant rollatini is a close second. This pizzeria does it right. And that is hard to come by!!! This review is coming from someone who spent a lot of time in pizzerias growing up, my family was in the business, and I make my own pizza often.Vegetarian options: Eggplant rollatini pie is outstanding!!“
“Romeo’s is a name that is known in this area. There are like 5 places named Romeo’s and I am not sure if they are connected. This spot is an “italian kitchen” but looks like a normal pizzeria. It does have some table service and thats what we did. I tried the chicken bacon ranch slice and my wife had the bbq slice. The specialty slices are on the thicker side so 1 was good for each of us. We also tried a personal plain pie and it was good. We also tried the zucchini sticks which were nicely done and the boneless chicken tenders. We enjoyed our meal and the staff were very nice. We will be back.“
“Ordered here for the first time after searching for a new pizza place when our favorite spot went out of business. Ordered a plain pie and a focaccia deep dish style. Both were fantastic! We are so happy to have found this place and can’t wait to order again soon.“
“The food is consistently fresh and delicious. We order food from here quite often and are always happy with it.I had my daughter's 15th birthday party back in '22 and the service was amazing. All of my party guests raved about the food. Anthony and his crew were very attentive. She just had a small gathering for her 17th birthday, and again the service was great. She and her friends said the food was delicious. They were also very accommodating with food allergies.“
“Food was good, a little expensive. We had a gift certificate we purchased online and at first the Tinton falls restaurant said that was for the coney Island restaurant and did not want to take it. Showing him the gift certificate did not state Coney Island only, he did accept it. That was the only issue that the did resolve. “
“Great restaurant! Went there for a party and the service was great. Melissa and Jesus were my servers and they were excellent. Always there when we needed something. I had the calamari and the filet mignon. Both were delicious! I will definitely be back!!“
“OMG! It felt like I was sitting in Italy, being served at my little table. The food was amazingly delicious. I ordered pasta with chicken and a side of wings, and it came with a salad that melted in my mouth. I have not had outside food that was cooked with love in a long while. They deserve a A+ for freshness. Thank for giving me food that tastes like a homemade cooked meal. I am in aw thank you again! Money well spent!!!!!“
“Make reservations in advance. Very crowded for a reason. The food was fantastic. Anything you pick will be a homerun. The pasta dishes are made with love. The pork chops melts in your mouth with savory spices and smooth mash potatoes. It can be a little nosey but you forget everything when the food touches your tongue.“
“I picked up two pies and a salad this week and I felt like the manager rolled out the red carpet for me. He could not possibly have been any nicer. He even asked someone to help me carry out my order! The Margherita pie was absolutely delicious- don’t think I’ve had a better one in the area. My kids devoured the plain before I could have a piece. The buffalo chicken salad was yummy too. Will definitely be back! Thanks for the amazing service and great food!“
