“The food is phenomenal. I ordered the chicken Tikka masala and it was so, so good. I was a little surprised it doesn't come with rice, but I had some ready made at home so it was fine. The charcoal oven definitely adds a lot of deliciousness to the dish.
If I have a complaint, it would be don't order the tea online. You only get about 4 oz of tea for 3$, not good, but food wise, you get a very generous portion.“

“Was here in on a mini vacation and was recommended to this place . As I woman that works in the food industry this pace was really good !!! They were busy but got our food out in a good quality time . Garlic shrimp was amazing !!! Dave the sauce for dipping your bread and even adding your rice for a nice twist !!! Will def come back ! Staff was friendly . And it’s a byob which makes it great as I’m on a budget with travel . Thank you guys !!!“

“We ordered our thanksgiving dinner from here, and everything was AMAZING! Turkey, cornbread stuffing, Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and apple crumb pie for dessert. Everything was delicious! We always love their food & would highly recommend!“

“Big Ed’s BBQ is a really great establishment. Amazing food and service. However, I think it should be against restaurants to make their customers pay a 18% gratuity automatically on the customers bill. The customer should choose their prefer tip. This should be illegal!!!“

“I love Portuguese BBQ as my husband takes home from Linden near his work. I always say it would taste better if they grill Pork /chicken crisper/well done. We went to this new place on our way home to try. OH MY MY I FOUND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR &FLAVOR!!!! DELLLLIIIICCCCIIOOUUUSSSSSS!!!!!“

“I’d been searching for a BBQ caterer in NJ for a birthday party and feel like I hit the jackpot with Jersey Joe’s. Cindy was helpful and very busy but I was able to place my order after a few days of going back and forth. Everyone at the party was floored by how good the food was! The Alabama chicken wings were delicious and had a nice kick. The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful, grateful that they came without bbq sauce so that it could be added as desired. They also included extra sauces when requested which was great. The chopped chicken was tasty. The street corn blew everyone away, it was that good! The potato salad was solid and the cornbread was abundant. The mac and cheese was delish and we’re glad we added the breadcrumbs like the kid delivering the food suggested. Speaking of which, the delivery was the best I have ever experienced. He brought the food in, placed them in the warmers, filled them with water, and lit the sternos. He deserves a raise and promotion for his customer service, I only wish I remember his name. I highly recommend Jersey Joe’s and will be using them again in the future along with many of the guests at our party!“

“Everything about was straight up PERFECTIOÑA!!! My server Camille was on point & was 5 star worthy!!! She made sure I was doing alright with my food, always have a smile on her face, and everything in her performance was everything to perfection at Texas Roadhouse!! I know I work there, but no other can beat TXRH North Plainfield!! They always give their 210% everyday, and we always deliver the best over here!! Love this place since 2015!!“

“A place that surprised me; a spectacular octopus, its texture perfect, served on a bed of al dente vegetables and delicious potatoes. Actually from the bread and the house olives which are a spectacle. Going through their traditional Portuguese wines, everything was more than wonderful. Price quality ratio 10/10. “Great neighborhood Portuguese restaurant. The place is small and sometimes there is a wait but it's worth the wait. The food is delicious and consistent. The sangria is great and a must-have with anything you order. The service on this particular day was slow, but the staff is young, so have some patience. Takeout is also very popular so you know the secret is out...this place has great food!“

“The food was excellent. We tried their mixed grill, seekh kebabs, and fried fish, all of which were flavorful and delicious. Special appreciation goes to Chef Rizwan for his expertise in crafting such great dishes, and to Shahnawaz for providing excellent service. However, be cautious with takeout orders, as the lady overcharged and claimed that takeout prices are different from those listed on the menu.“
