Usually Korean soup based foods tend to have either too much sodium and additives to make the flavor powerful, or not enough to bring the flavor out. “So clean! I walked in and thought I had walked into a dental office! The owner is very friendly and told me his 15 year experience making dumplings by hand. For home made quality abd taste, the prices were great. They even steam the dumpling for you on the spot so you can have hot, steamy dumplings. “Jangkalguksu was delicious. The moderately spicy and moderately rich taste of the soybean paste soup went well with the chewy noodles. The soup would have been delicious even when eaten with rice. I didn't add rice because I thought I would be too full. To be strict, I was a little disappointed that jalapenos were used instead of Cheongyang peppers because of the greenish smell of jalapenos, but considering that it is not easy to find Cheongyang peppers here and that jalapenos are an excellent ingredient for adding spiciness, I can fully understand it. “Fantastic authentic Korean food and also very popular in the fort lee area as tables are almost never empty throughout the day as far as I know. This differs from kbbq places as they serve more advanced level korean food for patrons. There is no grill on the table so keep that in mind. We have been here on multiple occasions and have tried many menu items with flavors that are out of this world. This is the kinda of business that will be handed down for generations if they own the spot instead of renting the space. Long live the king of all korean restaurants in the tri state area!“

I usually go to their original location but the fort lee location is just as good but only downside is parking is a bit hard to find here
We got free japchae which was a big bonus too!

My fave thing about this place is their unlimited free collagen beef bone soup!!

Only $9.99, but the quality was outstanding.
The broth was rich and flavorful without being greasy, and it came with plenty of tender beef.
Even the kimchi and radish kimchi were fresh and perfectly seasoned.

“I order from here often and you can rely on their menu items. But today I wanted to rave about their Pork Kimchi Jjangbong. It was like a kimchi jjigae with noodles. It was AMAZING!!. The flavor was on point!

“I absolutely love Anytime Kitchen in Fort Lee! From the vibe to the service and, of course, the food—it’s all excellent.
I’ve tried several dishes here: Uni Buckwheat Noodles, Old-Fashioned Fried Chicken, Clam sujebi (수제비) , Spicy Seafood Stew, Beef Tartare, and Sweet Potato Fries. The Uni Buckwheat Noodles taste luxurious—perfect if you want a refreshing, pasta-like dish. The Old-Fashioned Fried Chicken takes a little time to cook, but it’s totally worth the wait—they even cut it for you! The Handmade Dumpling Soup is so 얼큰 and flavorful you might find yourself reaching for a whole bottle of soju, and their soups always come in very generous portions. The Spicy Seafood Stew is huge and packed with fresh seafood—it’s definitely worth the price. Sweet potatoe fries and beef tartare is a good option for side dishes. We got a service I think the name was seafood avocado but that was def would be a great side dish when drinking wine.
The service is excellent too. I dropped my fork once, and someone immediately brought me a new one—attentive service like that really makes a difference.
The vibe of the restaurant strikes a perfect balance between elegance and casual comfort. It’s great for a casual date, a team outing, or just a relaxed night out.

“Thanks to the kind Korean cashier, my family loves shopping at this store. Even my young child gets excited to go to H Mart, putting on her shoes as soon as she hears we’re going. During our last visit, I witnessed a younger customer (younger than the cashier) giving her a hard time for no apparent reason. Despite this, the cashier kept her smile and continued helping her to the very end, which reminded me of my mom. I felt sympathy, realizing how challenging that must have been for her. I’ll continue to visit this H Mart frequently. I’m grateful to have a Korean store near my home and truly appreciate the cashier who always greets us with a warm smile.“

They have also been able to accommodate a quick turnaround time (24 hours) for most common dishes. Our small church uses them almost monthly. The owner is a hard working woman and she can initially come off as being a little standoff-ish, but I’ve had nice conversations with her and she is very nice. The food is consistently good and our church has no complaints! Our go-to dishes are bulgogi, spicy pork, japchae, fried dumplings. We’ve also had the galbijjim, jengban gooksu (cold noodle salad with seafood), and gimbap which are all excellent.“

“My husband and I came here to try gamja and we also had the galbi. We were at first overwhelmed with the portions but our waiter quickly came to assist with rearranging the components of the soup into manageable portions for us. One sip of the broth and I was hooked. The pork was so tender....suddenly the portions didn’t seem like enough!!!

I am also pretty far along in my pregnancy and when we were almost out of broth, Cindy, refilled our soup bowl with more of the magic broth😍.

“The tofu soup here's the best part and really their main specialty, everything else is really just a side to that and the Ban Chon which is very simple and straightforward. Ribs more expensive over the years but also good.

Updated 3/27/22: they no longer do the rice or if a hot rice bowl, then the crispy rice after in the bowl with barley tea in it, which is disappointing since that was a great part of the meal. While they have expanded part of their menu, the prices have also gone up with a tofu soup at $14 now and the barbecue at $27. 6% off if you pay cash. And the cucumber appetizer is no longer as good, this batch was more sour and spicy versus the sweet and spicy in the past. Also had to wait about 25 minutes for the barbecue, so be aware of that when you order. The soup comes out a lot faster and we were almost done with that by the time the barbecue came out. Also in the mushroom tofu soup, they no longer put enoki mushrooms, probably due to cost. Same as of 9/16/2022. But BBQ came a lot faster.

Banchan today on 12/2 was too salty. Varies on batch I guess?

The banchan was good today 4/2/23, and ramen serving was large. The squid stir fry didn't have the rice cake this time? Cash has a 6% discount.
