“We stopped in for an early dinner after a visit to a local winery. What a great little place! Food was delicious and came out hot and fresh! I had the steak frites, the steak was a perfect medium rare and even the green beans were cooked perfect and hot. My wife ordered the fish and chips and was impressed with the tender meatiness of the cod. The batter was crisp and hot without overwhelming the freshness of the fish. This was our first time here so just beware no cocktails or beer it is BYOB only but well worth a visit.“

The menu is one of the best we have seen in the area with many international dishes, some with the labor intensive Indian nuances, and others just with downright phenomenal flavors. Although they have lots of standard fare for the UNadventurous eater, I would suggest you reach past your comfort zone and try some of the appetizers that jump out as potential winners...like the tuna tartare that with just a splash of Japanese Rice wine vinegar would be one of the best I have ever had, as well as the grilled Tandoori shrimp that is marinated in yogurt, ginger, cloves nutmeg, and dried mango; the grilled lamp chops that come with three perfectly grilled meaty garlicky chops that come with mango chutney, and the Haryali chicken Tikka- three huge plump boneless breast of chicken slices that are marinated in mint, yogurt, roasted cloves, green cardamom and star anise, and served with their famous tiger sauce and salsa. We also shared another marinated shredded beef dish special that had three beef croquette-shaped mounds that had such a umami of flavors I can't even replicate it in this review, but we thought it was just great. I would be remiss if I did not mention the creamy, silky crème brûlée that we enjoyed with a glass of Prosecco; a perfect encore to the phenomenal culinary treat we had just experienced with the appetizer medley. Sharing many apps is more fun we think, than committing to one big entree, so we suggest that you dash over to the Pittstown Inn TONIGHT, and tell them Debbie and Gene sent you....ask to meet Gary, the owner, who elegantly floats from table to table, touching each to greet them and to check later on as well to see if everything was to their liking. A true host from days gone by, this owner is the real deal whose passion for the hospitality business emulates from his constant smile from the joy he is getting from making his guests happy. You see that what fuels this man to keep opening his doors from year to year, despite the many hardships and setbacks life has dealt us all over and over, is his love for you, his loyal customer. He is a rare find, so I suggest you go and treat yourself to the real deal in dining. You will not be disappointed, and be sure to ask to meet Gary. He will make your visit complete. Kudos the phenomenal chefs I met as well, for their expertise and genuine ingenuity in designing a menu to please everyone. Can you tell we LOVE this place??????????“

“First off, the establishment was very clean, and well put. The customer service was also really good, you can tell a lot of locals come here. The steak and cheese omelet and the Mexican omelet were delicious. I'd definitely recommend visiting if you're nearby.“

“I cannot recommend this venue enough. The property is absolutely breathtaking, and the Silo and Grand Ballroom are stunning. We got married outside near the gazebo and had our reception in the Silo and every guest I talked to mentioned how beautiful the Farmhouse is. The Silo is by far the most unique and beautiful room I’ve been in for an event. Most importantly, everyone kept talking about how delicious the food was! Our guests raved about the cocktail hors d'oeuvres and their dinners.

As a bride, I thoroughly enjoyed working with the event planning team and day-of staff. Gina and Liz were an absolute pleasure working with. They were so helpful in answering my questions, giving advice, and making sure the day was a success. My bridal attendants were fabulous too. Myrna made sure everyone got what they needed in the morning, that everyone was fed, and that the mimosas were flowing. Lorraine was a godsend for the afternoon. She was by my side throughout photos, cocktail hour, and the reception and helped wherever she was needed. I need a Lorraine in my day-to-day life. Finally, Monique was amazing and went out of her way to make sure everyone got what they needed. She also took special care of my grandmother and made sure she got a drink when she needed one and tried every cocktail hour dish.

All in all, the Farmhouse was the perfect place to get married. Several of our guests said that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to as the food, the staff, and venue were fantastic. I would choose the Farmhouse over and over again.“

“Very nice anniversary evening at the inn. We had not been there in many years. There have been a few different owners in the recent past but it still feels familiar. Different but familiar which I think is great. My friend is running the place now and seems to have put together a great team and some very nice dishes. Just last week we were texting about the inn and the menu and I mentioned the famous tomato bisque that the inn used to serve. Well not even 10 days later it’s back in the menu, which I think will be a welcome surprise to the local crowd. We are looking forward to returning.“

They're always open, they're nice as can be, and they're serving you hot food and cold drinks from a floating storefront that is subject to the whims of the Delaware river. I love this place, and it is, in fact, the cheapest hot dog you can get while in the middle of the Delaware river.“

“As a wedding and event planner I'm always looking for a unique and beautiful venues. Durham Springs checked all my boxes and more! Owners, Dan and Ian, have taken this dated property and transformed it into my absolute go-to for events, especially weddings. The grounds are lovely with ponds, swaying grasses and rolling hills. I absolutely love the flexibility of the ballroom. Beautiful views, flexible lighting, high ceilings, tons of natural light, neutral floors, walls and chairs make decor a joy. You can create any vibe you want in this space with ease. Dan was lovely to work with and exceedingly patient in providing many changes in floorpan due to the never ending Covid issues. He was also genuinely excited for my bride and groom and took joy in seeing their vision come to light. Many other venues are quick to tell you all the things you cannot do. Dan made sure that our requests came to life, and then some! His creativity was much appreciated. The food was delicious and served in a lovely, imaginative manner. William, staff captain, kept the wait staff running efficiently throughout the evening and Melissa, Durham's on-site event coordinator was responsive throughout, taking special care of several specific needs that we had for the day. Service: Yes, it's a seat yourself. It could take some time for someone to bring you the menu and take your order. Like, 10 minutes to 15 minutes wait. However, the customer service was excellent.
Atmosphere: I liked the window booths as I could enjoy the natural light and view what's going on outside while enjoying my meal.
