Each course felt balanced and intentional—low oil, low sugar, and focused on natural taste. Even traditional dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and zhajiang noodles were reimagined beautifully. The dessert, called “Nectar of the Core,” was light and refreshing. Dining at Bodai feels like a calm, thoughtful journey through color, texture, and flavor. “We hired the sushi chef to come to our house to celebrate my birthday. Andrew responded so quickly to all of my emails and questions and I was never waiting long for a reply. “From the outside, one might think this a food hall of sorts. Its definitely more of a hub for food delivery services. There were countless pickup orders and, including us, 2 other tables that came to sit and eat. The atmosphere has grande ceilings with floor to ceiling windows with bar seating running along and maybe 8 tables. There are hard-copy menus and touchscreen stations to order but the choices are countless; resulting in a time consuming firt-timer experience. There's 1 kitchen that pumps out separate restaurant menu items. The food was ok. I got a Mexican-style chicken bowl that was crossed with another restaurants curry chicken; bites here and there were different. My husband got an Asian-style chicken fried rice bowl that came out cold. 2nd attempt was saturated in sesame oil and inedible. We didn't realize it at the time but Amex Gold got rid of Goldbelly, replaced by Wonder; big mistake in our opinion as Goldbelly is worldwide and Wonder is limited to big-city access for a lesser quality product.“

From morning to night, I watched her carry herself with grace like pressure was not a thing at all. Her experience in the field was definitely top notch and she stayed hands on throughout the day (and I mean THE WHOLE DAY!) She stayed attentive for anything or any person which I’m sure is a huge thing to juggle whether the wedding party is big or small. Her team made sure to take care of so much for the couples’ day and the aftermath of everything coming together made it a dream to see it all after the long day we had.

“This has to be one of the Best bagel stores in NJ. Eric and Christie are amazing owners and everything is made fresh, including the variety of Cream cheeses they offer. Have to try the sundried tomato cream cheese, it is a favorite. The staff are friendly and pleasant and very efficient in what they do. I call ahead my order being they are always busy. Don't be surprised if when you arrive there is a line out the door, they are that good. 👍“

“Chef David and his team were great, we hired them to do a 22 person dinner party and they were excellent from start to finish. They arrived early to prep and helped setup tables and chairs, bringing a team of 6 or 7 people with them. Our building has a grill area and they cooked the entire meal on the grill, fresh bread, steaks etc and people couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was. Some of the best catered food I’ve had at any event and I won’t hesitate to hire them again. They are professional, timely the team is great all around. You will be so impressed with the food and experience .“

One of the things we really appreciated was that they provided tables and chairs which made planning so much easier. It’s a great setup and the venue is very well maintained. Te’Niijah and A’tasia were an absolute dream to work with. They were professional friendly and always accessible whenever we had questions. They offered helpful recommendations and made us feel supported throughout the planning process. You can tell they genuinely care about making your event special and stress free. On the day of the shower everything went off without a hitch. We were able to enjoy ourselves and be present with our guests while knowing that everything behind the scenes was being handled. “This review is long overdue. However, we are glad we waited because seven (7) months later, we are STILL getting rave reviews from our friends and families about the food at our wedding! We had a VERY difficult venue that required all of our vendors to submit referrals and agree to a multitude of specific rules. Our original caterer cancelled two (2) months out from our wedding date (after a year of planning). We did not know what to do! They had already been approved and accepted by our venue. We were devastated! KRISP quickly reviewed the menu / pricing we had negotiated and budgeted with that caterer. They were SO reassuring, and offered us MORE options for a lower cost. We could not believe it! After experiencing an incredible tasting at their gorgeous venue, we were SOLD! THE FOOD IS UNREAL, seriously! When we were low on alcohol, they ran to the store to ensure that our guests would not notice any lapse! They even secured and stored our cake topper for months after our wedding! Despite coming on board with less than 2 months to prepare, KRISP navigated a VERY difficult venue, provided incredible service and kept all the stress out of our site! If you don't scoop them up while you can, your event will not be as good as it could have been.“
