“Small little corner store on lower level of short hills mall. Can’t help but see the 20+ flavors available of chocolates. Plus fresh made gelato must of been about 15 flavors. I got the mango & strawberry in a cup. Lined with chocolate and nuts. Was awesome. Got to sample the milk chocolate as well. VERY GOOD…..“

It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. A pleasant surprise was the vegan ice cream selection—not a huge variety, but certainly more than the usual sorbet-only options found elsewhere. We opted for a single scoop of hazelnut chocolate chip in a cup, which was really tasty, though it had a slightly synthetic aftertaste. “My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Saw this on grubhub and since it was close by, decided to visit. Both burger and milkshake were excellent and done perfectly for my taste. Total cost was pretty good value and the space was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that it was pretty busy, so order took a while and also I can see it might be difficult to get a seat during peak hours. Good thing most people are in and out pretty quickly. Also, there was a credit card processing fee if you choose to pay by card, which I thought was a bit uncommon in NY..“

Ice cream is exceptional compared to store bought pints. Graham Central and orange pineapple are unique and tasty to the point we’ve gotten entire birthday cakes with those flavors.“

“My favorite sweet spot in town. They’ve added cookies to the menu and I’m so happy because I love a great cookie and they definitely deliver that. My favorite is the red velvet and I also love the chocolate chip. They make a speciality cookie monthly which always piques my interest. “I could've sworn I had reviewed Kikilu before. I went on opening day a couple of years ago and we've been going back periodically ever since. The buildup to opening was huge since we're super-regulars at Otto Strada.

The flavors are all great and rotate pretty often so there's always something new to try. The atmosphere is sleek but also fits right into the neighborhood. Are the prices high? Sure, but you just eat it slowly with that little spoon and savor every bit.“
