Love the concepts like the "coquito latte" and the whole attention to detail from the paintings and murals on the wall to the stoned floor and the domino table that sits in the middle of it all.“

“The name doesn’t tell you the reality of this place! The staff is lovely and they serve breakfast lunch and dinner in addition to being an ice cream shop. A wonderful place for a quick meal in the cutest little shop. It’s adorable. A true mom & pop hidden gem on Main Street. I love having breakfast & a coffee here.“

“I work in Hackensack and am something of a hot chocolate addict. I've bought my favorite beverage at many establishments but find Cafe Mannina has the secret to making it wonderful every time. And for only two bucks, compared with a mediocre cup I got recently at a high-end place for $5.50. Perhaps they use steamed milk, and froth it?The server on duty when I am there is always pleasant and efficient.Sorry I cannot vouch for any of the other beverage or food items, but there are always people who seem to be heartily enjoying their food whenever I pop in.“

“Wow. So you would expect hospital cafeteria food to be on par with prison, Navy, high school cafeteria, food kitchen, or other mass produced heavily processed junk. Well, be prepared for a completely different experience here.It seems they have a unique menu every single day! The soups appear and taste like they were actually made with ingredients that were mixed together and cooked to perfection right then and there. I think I had the best chili of my life there back in December 2021.They have a pizza oven that cranks out delicious pizzas.Their grill person can crank out just about any breakfast lunch or dinner item like an old pro. Their coffee actually has taste! And it’s a great taste, even better than the average DD or mermaid cup.Fresh prepared salads, side dishes, other hot and cold drinks (cappuccino?!?!), and generous portions forked over for very decent prices and excellent customer service, from the servers, to checkout/baristas, to the folks cleaning up tables after people bus their own trays.The joint is packed around mealtimes. Thank you for a place I’d go to just for the food, if I was in the area (which I hope not to be, given the bad memories usually associated with hospital experiences)Definitely eat here if you are hungry at the hospital.“
