“Found this place within walking distance of HUMC. It was very small, but clean, more importantly the food was very good! The Wings were on the larger side, while the mozz sticks and corn sides were great. Only drawback was the limited seating area, but the food was good enough to take “To Go”!“

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. “Today, I walked down to Staples from W. 97th Street. I always walk down Broadway, so I decided to walk down Amsterdam's west side of the street instead. I passed Poulet Sans Tete on my way down to Staples. Whatever they were serving smelled delicious from the street. On my way back, I stopped in and asked the very nice waiter if I could order to go, and he said of course. I ordered the Chicken baguette au jus with provolone, broccoli rabe on a toasted garlic baguette. I had a few more errands to run so it took about fifteen minutes before I was able to sit down to eat it, but was it ever delicious! That was my first visit there, but it won't be my last. So happy they had their windows and front door open so I could get even a whiff of what was cooking inside. Rock on!“

“One of the best chicken i’ve ever tasted in my childhood came from this restaurant, where the chicken is freshly roasted to near perfection. The white rice here is also very delicious, and so are the french fries. The portions are very reasonable, and everything about this restaurant overall is perfect. They also have a dining area available if you’d like to dine in, and you may also takeout. Whatever the case may be, stop here to enjoy some high quality freshly made roast chicken!“

“I’ve tried a lot of burgers, and this was by far one of the best! It has that fresh, homemade burger taste with a juicy, tender patty.

Even my picky eater absolutely loved it—it’s now his favorite burger!

We also tried the soy garlic chicken and the original fried chicken. Both were delicious, and since they offer several different sauces, we can’t wait to come back and try the others.
