“It was pricy for the buffet, but they exceeded my expectations.
Food were delicious, and fast super friendly serving.
Side dishes and deserts were amazing as well.
They got nice Sushi, too. (not so variety, but including Tuna, Salmon, and mor sushi with some rolls.) I also loved Korean deserts so much.
It's first time in my whole life tipped 20% at buffet.
They charge hot tea, one thing I did not like... For the price, I should be inclusive.“

“Came here with a group of friends and had a really good hot pot meal.

The seasonal golden broth was the standout for me. It had a light pickled pepper flavor with a chicken broth base and wasn’t too spicy. The classic original broth was also flavorful and much better than a plain clear soup.

We ordered a mix of beef, lamb, shrimp paste, tripe, and other meats. Everything was fresh and the portions were generous.

We also had plenty of vegetables and noodles, including Chinese yam, pumpkin, winter melon, mushrooms, tofu, napa cabbage, and wide noodles. The pumpkin was especially good in the broth.

The restaurant feels spacious and polished, and it works really well for groups. Portions are generous, ingredients are fresh, and it’s easy to leave very full.“

“If you're craving hot pot in the LIC area, this is a solid choice. Price obviously depends how much you get; dining as a party of 4, we spent around $50pp. Everything can be requested or ordered via the iPad (including a call service button), so there's limited direct contact with staff. I like how they provide bags for jackets to make sure not ALL of your possessions come out of the restaurant smelling like hotpot.

While it makes sense to have a big table to hold all of our ingredients, I felt the distance from one end to the table to the other was large! We had to raise our voices to talk to each other.

The sauce bar has the essentials as well as 2 side dishes (altho I don't remember what they were, I didn't end up getting them) and orange slices (we ate those at the end of the meal).

There is only one bathroom for the entire restaurant, so there was a bit of a line when I had to go.“

“Our daughter took us here while we were visiting NY for her graduation for Wagyu Shabu. I normally don't like places with many prices, but since our daughter chose it so we enjoy with her. The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one.
For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu.
The place is clean and nice.
For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced.
We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it.
Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things.
The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it.
The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow.
The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty.
The vegetables are fresh and clean.
After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy.
I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like.
This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy.
So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.“

“There were many kinds of side dishes that I couldn't describe! Also, the seats are separated and I LIKE IT!! I like the food but it was bothering me that I have to get my food by myself. It was a little bit hot because there's a hot pot on our table.“

“I love that you can choose your own fresh ingredients and customize the spice level to your liking. The restaurant is clean, and the owner is very friendly. Be sure to try the guobaorou (crispy sweet and sour pork) and smashed cucumber salad together. they make the perfect combination!“

“Such a cozy and ambient environment. The food is definitely as good as haidilao, but without the loudness and crowdiness. The meat was super tender and delicious and came out very fast. We had a 90 minute time limit which was more than enough. The service was very reliable. Highly recommend the lamb and the spicy broth. They let us take the broth home with us which will make a great meal. Will definitely come back. The $34 all you can eat is very worth it!!“

But somehow the service was even better. Shoutout to Stella, our server, who absolutely made the night. Attentive, friendly, funny, and on top of everything without ever hovering. She handled our table like a pro and cooked some of our food for us too! , even while I was clearly having the time of my life and probably making a bit of a spectacle of myself. “Just added this place to my Favorites casual dining list. A hidden gem for malatang dishes. Large dining area, very clean and unassuming, fresh ingredients, and decent selection of protein (beef, lamb, pork, shrimp, quail eggs), vegetables, and noodles.“

“We came here while we craving dry pot. The staffs are very friendly , welcoming and helpful. We ordered two in medium spicy and one in mild. I would say like if you like spicy medium is the good choice , extra will be too spicy. The flavor was so balanced and we all really enjoyed it. And they offered jujube hot tea, and some drinks for free flow and Plus Ice cream too. The atmosphere was great, the tables are clean. I will come back here for sure. For four, it costed around $83 before tips.“

“One of the things I really appreciated was that the restaurant wasn’t too noisy, which made it perfect for catching up and having lots of conversation with friends.

We came as a group of eight with a 6:30 PM reservation and enjoyed a variety of food and drinks. We were able to relax and take our time throughout the evening without ever feeling rushed, even as closing time approached.

“If you want to recharge your energy, this is a must-visit, one-of-a-kind wellness food spot in Palisades Park, NJ.

With chicken so tenderly slow-cooked that the meat just falls off the bone, the combination with the rich, deep broth is pure art.
Aside from the classic chicken Baeksuk, the lineup including duck, neungi mushroom, lacquer, abalone, and Haesintang is incredibly impressive. Depending on your preference, it was great to be able to choose between the deep 'herbal broth' or the savory, chewy 'nurungji porridge.'

The variety of side dishes isn't huge, but the sweet and sour pickled vegetables served with it make an amazing combo with the Baeksuk.

On top of that, with the complimentary pancake that is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, it is a generous spread that will instantly bring back your lost appetite.

The portion is so huge at about 3 to 4 servings, the more people you go with, the better the value.
I highly recommend it for bringing your parents or as a group gathering spot for friends.

Because Baeksuk dishes require a long cooking time, a phone reservation at least 90 minutes in advance is an absolute must! If you just walk in, you might not be able to get a table, so make a reservation before you visit!“

As a Chengdu native who was born and raised in Chengdu for more than 20 years, when I first came to the United States last year and ate it for the first time, I thought it was delicious and authentic, even better than many skewers restaurants in Chengdu. Why is it closed?“
