“I couldn’t believe how great the food was. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. In addition the atmosphere was wonderful and our server Andrew In Hackensack NJ was such a delight. He totally paid attention to my nut allergy and had the manager bring my meal out to ensure it was nut free. We are definitely going back! 😃“

They do have rules to keep things flowing like.

1. Must leave after 2 hours
2. No parties of 6 and no parties of 5 at night.

“Ramro was excellent! We had the duck and pork momos, beef longanisa, skate, duck, gnocchi and saag paneer. When it came to dessert, my son asked “can we get another skate?” Flavors were balanced and full and the skate, beef longanisa and momos were the favorites for us. It is very cozy and homey and the service felt like family. Oh, and my watermelon cocktail was excellent too. We are so excited about Ramro being so close and in the neighborhood; this will be our new family favorite.“

“We sat at the bar and the service was exceptional (Eric and Bryant - thank you!). We had the Caesar salad, mushroom flatbread with truffle and the vegan meatballs - which were so tasty with pickled onions and pickles and tiny potatoes, the sauce was so good!“

The ambience and vibe amazing!!! Food was delicious, drinks were fabulous. Had a cheeseburger, included was melted cheddar cheese and mushrooms. Also came with a salad which was sooo good. This place made thee best chocolate martini.

Olivia, the server was also amazing, so sweet and attentive. She made the experience even better, couldn’t have been happier. And the bathroom was very clean and smelled so good with a scented candle.

You will not be disappointed…. So happy my manager recommended this place.“

“How is it possible that I didn’t review 4747lic here before?!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Every time I go there for weekend brunch, I have to return for dinner! I just can’t get enough of the place. Their Dutch baby “Primadonna” pancake and lobster roll are to die for. Much of what is on the menu it’s imported from Italy of the finest ingredients. It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. They can accommodate large groups, children, pets, wheelchairs, (you name it) at their outdoor seating. Run there. 😊💕“

“We had an excellent pre-theatre dinner for eleven. Colorful decor, fun cocktails, great apps to share and delicious entrees. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were able to bring a birthday cake from home to celebrate the occasion. And we got out in plenty of time for our 8pm show! We will definitely be back!“

“Went there during the Restaurant Week. The menu was much better compared to some other restaurants we went to. The hostess was cheerful and pleasant One tall male server was not good at all- first, he tried to take my plate despite there was still food left and the utensils were placed to show that I was still working on it. Doesn’t he even know what that mean? He apologized, and later came to ask if we needed more bread. We said no, but I still had a big chunk of bread on my plate. We only said we didn't need another piece of bread. But he took away everything including the butter. He needs to be trained and know what he can do and can’t while customers are still eating. Taking plates away no matter what is not his only job! He was rude.“

“Absolutely loved my experience at Hoexter's. Was looking for the best dirty martini I could find and Hoexter's is definitely a top contender. We got seated at probably one of the not as comfortable tables yet the experience was still 10/10. We order the caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, and some bread for the table as we were just looking for something light that night. Everything was delicious. The service was very attentive and the dim lit vibes were classy, yet still welcoming. At the very end they even give you a cute little notebook to sign next to others who have dined there as well. Definitely looking forward to coming back and having a full dinner here!“

“Florentin, a Mediterranean gem on Amsterdam Avenue, understands something essential: that hunger is both physical and aesthetic. Florentin offers the kind of Mediterranean cooking that makes you remember why we gather around tables in the first place.

The Florentin salad arrives like a small rebellion against November chill. The light green shishito peppers—prepared in some novel way the kitchen won’t quite reveal—manage to be both familiar and different. The sea bass is respectfully handled. The steak frites is what steak frites aspires to be in its dreams.

Service here operates with a quiet competence that’s increasingly rare. The staff listens.

I suggested they consider live music—a jazz singer, perhaps someone with Juliet Ewing’s smoky presence. The waitress seemed receptive. Every restaurant is a work in progress, after all. We build our pleasures incrementally, adjusting as we go.

“This is our new favorite place the food and service was amazing. We enjoy our time we went during lunch time with no reservations and we didn’t wait long to be seated and our waiter was patient didn’t rush us and was kind. We are definitely going back.“

“One of the best meals I’ve had in Bergen County. A really elevated dining experience with nice options at every course. The focaccia was great to start with, every single salad was fantastic, I loved the pork Milanese, but the homemade gnocchi was incredible.

Lemon tart to finish was balanced and elegant.

The food was amazing, as was the atmosphere and the service. My friend had the pork steak special and I had the trumpet mushrooms. “This is what we call “fine dining.” We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady. We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack. When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables. After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu. After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions. And it only got better from there. The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared. I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had. The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had. The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening. The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person. We all said we would be back.“

“Always a steady goto in our restaurant rotation. Seasons 52 in Paramus never disappoints. Their Pork Chop is one of my favorite entrees along with the Filet Mignon and Lobster, you can't go wrong with the flatbreads, tuna tartare, golden beet salad, and Maui Tuna Crunch Salad. Something for everybody. Cartier and the rest of the crew that works the bar are great, and always welcome us back when visit.“

“We sat downstairs and were able to have easy conversation. Tuna Crudo excellent! Halibut fresh and wonderful but could have been more pure with a bit less sauce. Onion Rings & Fried Chicken a 10! Loved meeting the young, vivacious, and personable Chef! We will return as many great sounding dishes yet to try.“
