If you want to indulge in an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you have to try the Fresh Striped Bass. I ordered it with spicy sauce, but there are six different flavors to chose from. We also ordered the Sliced Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was so tender and juicy, paired with onions and bell peppers in a savory, black pepper sauce. Then we ordered Dry Pot Cabbage, a mouth-watering Sichuan dish that you have to try. For our last course, we had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, Hot Fish. “I'm 67 years old now but when I was 9 years old my mom was a waitress at the Lido. Frank and Ellen were the original owners at the time and I would go to their house and play with their kids. I would sit at the bar and bug the bartender for maraschino cherries. Wonderful memories and I'm so glad to see that the Lido is still there serving the same food they did 60 years ago! It's not traditional, but I love eating it here. With the Bolón, I like to order the encurtido salad with an egg on the side and black coffee. I usually pay about $15 all together.

Service was great, they were very fast. They also remodeled and it feels very homey and clean. You'll usually just find other Ecuadorian locals here.“

The food is good considering the prices.The dumplings are thick skin, which I love (nice and chewy). The hot and sour soup is definitely better than New East. The shrimp is decent, not too chewy, and a good size, as good as you can do from frozen (all cheap Chinese will be shrimp from frozen). They have good selection on the menu, chicken stick is good way to have protein in your fridge for later meals. I grew up in Fort Lee, NJ and was spoiled there because the pizza was excellent. Old-style. They have the pineapple and stufflike that..not my thing. LOOK at the MENU! Far more than pizza. I have been ordering food from them for over a decade. ONCE, I think..my delivery took too long. I have eaten there also several times over the years. I used to live around the corner. All I have to say is this is the closest thing to quality American Chinese that I’ve managed to find in the area thus far. Wonton soup- they give you more wontons than typical. Egg drop soup- fantastic. Dumplings- are what dumplings are supposed to be (not including dim sum). Chicken and broccoli- chicken isn’t the best quality but even still, this is Chinese take out and the taste is totally there. At the end of the day I think the quality and taste of the food is way above sub par than typical Chinese takeout places. It seems from the reviews that some people think Chinese takeout should be some upscale or fine dining experience but if they know anything about Chinese take out, it’s supposed to be modest, affordable food with a large hint of msg.“
