“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“I was on the hunt for new food spots and stumbled across this gem. I went with my family, and let me just say—the food was incredible! I had the moro de gandules with beans and pernil, and the portion was so generous that one plate could easily feed two. My kids shared white rice and beans with beef stew (bistec), and they absolutely loved it.

Both women working there were super kind and welcoming—true hospitality vibes all around. 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be coming back 😌. The prices are more than fair, especially considering how much food you get.“

“Every time I come to this restaurant I see firsthand how patient the employee whose name is Noemim ( I think!) is with all of the customers regardless of any language barriers, etc. I started coming here a little less than a year ago and because of her friendly conversations, I always get more excited when she’s the server lol. “I ordered from two good to go, which is an app that gives you discounted meals for less at the end of the night. They gave me liver which I’m not a fan of liver, but I gave it to a friend. I got potato salad. That was delicious a soup with pork in it and vegetables, rice and beans and a vegetable dish with okra and plantains. I will try out their fried chicken soon everything was packaged very good and the place looks very clean. A+

“This is a no frills, no smiles, no music situation but the food is amazing. The lady at the counter could look a little less upset, maybe they should play some music for atmosphere, because it’s like eating in a closet with windows. That said, the food is all that really matters. The rice is fluffy, the beans are perfect, and the stewed beef was the perfect addition. The lemonade is delicious and I’m pretty sure they make their own tres leches cake, it’s good but a tad on the sweet side. All in all, definitely worth a 2nd trip.“
