If you’re in Hoboken and even thinking about a mango drink, just stop what you’re doing and go to Icy Mellon. These folks don’t just make smoothies—they craft frozen perfection. I got the mango, and I swear it was so rich, fresh, and vibrant it deserved a seatbelt of its own.

Unfortunately, I had to stop short while driving and—well—mango mayhem ensued. All over me. All over the console. But you know what? I couldn’t even be mad. It’s that good. If anything, it was a reminder I should’ve finished the cup before pulling out.

I stopped by to try the crepes, donuts & waffles that’s made with halal ingredients! Besides their ice cream & shakes, they even make fruit juices that’s refreshing on a hot summer day! I loved the watermelon one the most!

“We’ve visited the last two times being in NYC (flying in from Pittsburgh) and will go out of our way to make it here on future visits. The people are incredibly friendly and provide all the little details about each course. The owner is a mad scientist, took the time to speak with us a little bit today, and couldn’t have been more kind. The flavors are unique, the sweetness is perfect, the ingredients are top quality, and the skill needed to pull these creations off is insane.

The Chocolate Chip Walnut was the ultimate balance of everything you look for in a comfort treat while the Funfetti flavor caught me by surprise and is now considered the best sugar cookie I ever had in my life. There is two other flavors in the box I have yet to try and I have a feeling they won't disappoint, but after having those two said flavors, it is without a doubt that I will definitely be coming back for more sometime soon in the near future. We left with a pint of biscoff lotus gelato that was so good. Really rich flavor and the pint had ribbons of biscoff caramel. I can’t wait to go back. “It’s a cute little place with amazing food! My daughter loved watching them make the rolled ice cream. The ice cream tasted delicious and fresh! The flavor we chose was Crispy Mango, which had mango and strawberry, topped with fresh fruit. I definitely recommend coming here.“

“Cheese tart on the go! The tarts are a must have if you are in Chinatown! The flavors are mostly asian inspired! Way to represent the asian community on this delicious tarts! Location: It is located in Chinatown, it is a small store with a display of their cheese tarts. Just buy and go! Service: The server were nice, he gave you good recommendations. Food: All that we ordered was delicious, we finished it on one seating because everything was delicious. We ordered all the flavors, it was original cheese, original cheese with blueberry, chocolate, matcha, black sesame and ube. My favorite was UBE and ORIGINAL CHEESE WITH BLUEBERRY. The crust is perfect, its crunchy and not thick. The filling is silky and smooth, not heavy unlike other cheese tarts. Price rating: 6/10, it was not that bad for the price. All flavors are good! Will definitely come back here if I visit again Chinatown. Get the ube and original cheese with blueberry, they are the best flavors!“

“Fun little spot! Very sweet desserts. Ashley is the best. My friend and I came in super close to closing time (our bad!) but Ashley was very nice to us and helped us get some good desserts. Pie is good (my friend really loved it, but was a little too sweet for me), the cornflake cookie is good. Most surprising was the peanut butter cookie! I don't usually like peanut butter cookies, but I did like this one. It was also a little less sweet. I'd come back to this location to try the soft serve or some of the other options.“

“Yallah Habibi is an amazing dessert spot and definitely worth the visit. We ordered a crepe and the Yallah Habibi fruit salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The crepe was perfectly made—soft, fresh, and filled generously—and the fruit salad was incredibly fresh, colorful, and refreshing. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their presentation.

On top of the great desserts, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. “Popped in on a whim when the bar across the street I’d planned to go to was absolutely packed. What a great surprise! Service was an absolute joy and the Kaya toast parfait with coconut ice cream was so delicious. We also got a Thai iced tea as a little bonus that was one of the best Thai teas I’ve had. So happy to have stumbled across this little gem of a shop!“

“My daughter had a play date and her new best friend lives near by this ice cream place, it's a hidden gem they prepared the rolled ice cream and the bubble crepes fresh right in front of you, you got to be a little patience as sometimes there is a line and the 2 servers is doing their very best to prepared all orders according to what received, we ordered Nutella rolled and strawberry banana crepes and both devoured by our kids and both loves it so much, my daughter already asking me to comeback so we can try a different ice cream menu, inside the place is organized and clean, both server is really helpful, I have no complaint with service and everything is delicious, we will definitely coming back soonest.“
