“I came here because I live close and because of all the glowing reviews. Not sure what the hype is about. The cheese looked fresh and pepperoni was good. The sauce was fairly plain. Rather typical tasting pizza. Also had the bread, which was ok. The menu is a bit sparse and not a lot of topping options.”

“While we usually have a great experience here and usually go 1 a month lately, last night, the food really missed the mark. Burger was terrible. The lemon garlic chicken could have had more flavor, though it was anything but dry. We usually just get the steaks but opted for something else, clearly was a bad decision on our part. Drinks were great. Service was great.”

“Out meal was more expensive than it should have been. When we reserved, we were told there was a $45 per adult minimum. We had 7 adults and 5 kids 12 and under who ordered pizza fries and pasta. The adults ordered some starters, salads and about half ordered fish. After starters and main dishes and sides were finished, the waiter informed one of the adults in the party (not the host) that people needed to order dessert because we were under the minimum, so the kids and a cpuple of adults ordered dessert although we were full, hadnt planned on it and left much of it on the table. When the bill came it was $707.00. Even taking away the 20% obligatory large party service fee, the $590 or $84 per adult is way above the $45 per adult minimum and the dessert cannot account for that, so the waiter misinformed the party and jacked up the bill. Even $45 per person for all.12 people is $540 which is $50 less than we were charged before the 20% service. If you have a large party, beware of this upsell and the mandatory 20% service fee. Great food, good service. The decor in the back room where they put us because of the kids is plain, not like the front of the restautant which is elegant, festive and lovely. If not for the jacking up the price experience, I would rate the restaurant 5 stars. The food was great and one can order a very healthy meal.as well as an indulgent one. Plenty of kid friendly food and options too. The service was also excellent as it should be for 20%.”

“We just went for the first time today took a detour off our road trip to stop in. My kids were so excited that they could pick anything out we have a lot of allergies and it was so nice to see their faces light up and know that everything there was safe for them. The worker was so kind and sweet and it was overall an amazing experience. It’s a small front shop but so worth it to go in they had so many options to choose from we grabbed a little of everything we could. We will definitely be planning more detours the next time we drive near.”

“I have visited the Red Rose Bakery in Howell a number of times and loved everything I have tried. The apple turnovers were delicious, the selection of cupcakes was amazing, and it is wonderful to have the ability to buy just a portion of a cake when you don't have a large family. This morning I called with a last minute request for 20 cupcakes in 10 containers of two each for my dogs birthday! I wanted to bring them to his Saturday morning class with his doggie friends. I already had a cake for the dogs but had neglected their human partners. I was so pleased with the lovely selection and packaging on such short notice! Thank you Red Rose Bakery!”

“16 of us for a moms night out. They set us up in the private room so our cackling wouldn’t disturb the other nice folks LOL. Our server was so nice and attentive and the food was delicious. For appetizers we had focaccia, stuffed mushrooms, antipasto, rice balls with side of sauce. For dinner we had sausage and peppers, chicken francese, penne vodka, cavatelli with broccoli, roasted potatoes with balsamic drizzle. Would definitely recommend Capricci for a private party.”

“We have been going to tenth and willow since they opened and love the food. When mike was the owner the customer interaction was GREAT. Recently I have gone into the deli and there weren’t any other customers. I WAS IGNORE FOR MANY MINUTES….NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED. My last I stood there for about 5 minutes…tried to get someone’s attention with no success. I walked out and went to Doughboys for my sandwich. I have mentioned this to others and they have had similar experiences. I am writing this so the owners correct this problem cause I really like having them nearby but won’t continue to shop there if this continues”

“The cleanest and healthiest food you can get in New Jersey. The Howell location is the one I’m reviewing here. I get the Tuna avacado sandwich and also the accai bowl with pineapple and almond butter. Always good. Very consistent. Salads are also good. A+++ The owner is always there making the juices seems to be very attentive to the customers and always looking to make everybody happy.”

“It's not bad, but I'd probably just relegate this place to take out only. There is no decent atmosphere to speak of unless your just gobbling down a slice. Had a chicken parm dinner. Chicken a wee bit tough. Sauce was ok. Pizza is good. Seating in need of an upgrade. Again, this is not the best eat in dining experience. Not bad, but nothing special.”

“Of all the ice cream shops I've been to over the years this is the Shangri-La of ice cream shops. The staff is ridiculously friendly and helpful, and this is probably one of the cleanest food establishments. There's a Zoltar in the dining area if you're wondering what your future holds, a claw machine and a few other little devices to keep the kids occupied once their ice cream experience comes to an end.”

“The food here was great though I felt the service was what I will describe as awkward. The people working the front desk seemed very informal, taking my order and walking away even though I was ready to pay. Instead I had to ask to pay, which they then told me if I wanted I can pay at the end (yes I understand that, but by asking to pay I clearly wanted to do it then as a show of good will and to get it over with; I like paying first so I can eat in peace). It is kind of the place where they ask what you want and then expect you to leave.

As for the actual food, I will say the grandma pizza tasted amazing. It was arguably one of the best I have had, and I have been to pizza places all over the state. The price was not terrible, as it was around $3.50 a slice or so.

Based on these things, I think a 4 star review is in order (I would give 4.5 stars if possible). The food was amazing and I can deal with awkward service. I would recommend this location based on the food alone.”
