“We've been meaning to to try so many of the new restaurants in the area. We finally got here for a late lunch today. Not surprisingly on a Thursday at 2PM and snowing, we had the place to ourselves. It was fortunate because the woman who took care of us explained everything to us in detail. I wasn't familiar with the Kurobuta pork. Apparently it's known as the, "Kobe beef of pork." All their pork come from Berkshire pigs. They come from a farm in Jersey. I'm guessing North Jersey. (Lot's of cool info if you Google them) Cooking is done using White charcoal which is used in traditional Japanese cooking. We started with the crispy cauliflower. It had crispy shallots & tahini vinegarette on them. They were delicious! Then the Shanghai bao. Filling was pork. (naturally) So delicious and juicy! When you slice them in half watch for the juice to squirt! We ordered six skewers. Two with pork jowel (cheek) Two regular pork and two fish. Again, delicious. i also had a bowl of spicy miso ramen. Our server explained how the broth is simmered for eight hours with pig bones and marrow. I could tell as the broth was very rich! That was it for us. We were both very full and i even took half of my ramen. We can't wait to return and bring friends! Highly recommend! ✌️“

“Lived down the street for years but never knew this was here, nestled next to ShopRite in Carteret. So easy to get to from Rte 1 or NJ Tpk, with general free parking in the lot, this is a great venue for gatherings and literally has what it offers: Mongolian bbq and sushi, among others. Staff is attentive and very welcoming. They walk you through the process if you’ve never been there before. They have a section for appetizers, sushi, fruits, salad, and sauce and seasoning section with recommended combinations if you don’t know the sauces to combine, and various options to plate what you want mixed for your hibachi dish. Lunch is very affordable and delicious at 13.99 pp and comes w choice of ice cream. We will return here to celebrate some birthdays and introduce it to others.“

“I’ve been coming to Tiam Tiam since it was Ding Food Market. Their bento boxes slap, you can’t go wrong. Would also suggest any onigiri, especially the spam supreme, and the Brussels with tofu. “We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

“Visited a restaurant for the birthday party in May 2022. Clean, welcomed staff, good service, a lot of parking on the street. We placed an order. It was not too long, which is good because the reservation was for 6:30 pm and everybody was hungry. Appetizers were delicious especially both types of calmers. 3 people ordered NYS trip stakes. OMG! All 3 stakes were stingy. Nobody finished the stake. Medium and well done came up the same. Black color even tongue was black after eating the steak. It's because when cooked the steak did not clean the grail. Also, I recommend checking your receipt. We found 3 items that we did not get on the table for a total of almost $80. One of them we never ordered, and two newer ones were delivered to the table.“

“I came about this restaurant driving on the 440 in Jersey City and looking for something to eat and Walla I found my to go place, whenever I want to eat Vietnamese food this is my place to go! Love the Food, the workers very friendly and the atmosphere. I have been there numerous of time and will continue to go there. I love their Mi Hoanh Thanh, Pho Tom, Pad Kee Mao with Beef,Bun Tom Nuong Cha Gio, Goi Cuon and of course their Delicious Mango smoothie to die for!!!!!! lol.“

The sushi was super fresh and they had lots of menu items that were very unique like the dinosaur egg(fried lobster with layers of avocado on top). The dumplings were outstanding. They also provide an amazing green salsa, but to be honest the tacos really don’t need it, they have so much flavor! We are so glad we gave this place a try and recommend you do too!“

“As somebody with a severe sesame allergy, eating Asian cuisine has always been a challenge for me. I have always had to be extremely careful, usually avoiding Asian cuisine altogether to avoid the risk of cross-contamination with sesame seeds or oil. However, I work nearby and one day I decided to call QQ Asian to see if it were a possibility to order something that didn't have sesame, and it turns out that they were able to accommodate me more than I thought! They mainly use a different oil (vegetable, I believe) for most of the food, and when I call to place an order, I always remind them of my allergy and they do a great job of making sure my food doesn't come in contact with ANY sesame. I appreciate the staff at QQ Asian for not only making consistently great food, but for also taking into consideration an allergy that had previously made it feel impossible to explore Asian cuisine. (Allergies vary in severity, so if you have allergies, only try if you feel comfortable.)

“The fried chicken was very tasty. Nice crunch on the skin as the sauce carmelizes with an excellent flavor. The neat stays moist and has absorbed some of the flavor from the sauce. it's no wonder that this is what they are famous for... The pork buns consist of a steamed rice flour bun with fried pork belly pieces with cucumber and Asian relish with a nice little bit of heat. “Fast and good food. Very reasonable prices. Not quite a place for sit down but there are a few tables to sit and eat. It's generally for take out, either pick up or deliver. Parking lot is small. Getting in to lot is easier than getting out. Being it's location is at a corner which is often busy. Hard to turn left out of the lot due to the traffic pattern. Love the food there.
