“A great choice for getting some high quality Indian food in the area, especially if you'd prefer to not deal with the hustle and bustle of Little India in Journal Square.

I highly recommend ordering anything from the tandoor - the tandoori chicken was perfect! And the portions are massive. I did think many of the appetizers and main dishes were quite overpriced, however.

That said, I'd definitely come back and try the rest of the menu!“

“I’ve dined here several times and I love it! I’m giving it 4 stars for Service because sometimes the margaritas are perfect, sometimes they’re too sweet and sometimes too tart. Their margaritas are not consistent. Which is sad, especially for a Mexican restaurant. Other than that, the food is delicious! The service and ambiance is nice. I will continue to eat here but I really wish they fix the margarita issue. Do some bartender re-training or something. I would not mind seeing new food items either. Try it out! The food is delicious!!“

“Wish I knew of this place earlier when more of the stalls were open. Visited today and only two were in operation sadly. IMO marketing could have been improved as I moved to the area (Hoboken) in 2020 and only noticed/heard of this place a few months ago while walking by as a new Jersey City resident. The name of it also sounds like just a restaurant instead of a food hall so it could probably benefit from a rebrand. If you look at the successful ones in other cities, e.g Chelsea Market in the city, Quincy Market in Boston, Union Market in DC, Reading Terminal Market in Philly, Ponce City and Krog street Markets in Atlanta they all kept it simple with the name. Those also are thriving either because they are in a high density tourist area or because they have dedicated parking available. This place would have done much better with dedicated available parking so people would have seen it as a destination. That said I get that perhaps, this was meant as more of a food court geared to catering to office workers like the Hugh in the city but there aren't nearly enough of these workers in JC for that. Hope it survives though and perhaps it will rebound when more of the development happening brings either new neighborhood residents or visitors (Top Golf rumored to be coming).“

“Ganesh Dosa House is a small place. It may not be fancy but it has very authentic and amazing South Indian food. The flavors are fabulous!! The only thing is that the food is spicy. But that’s also what I love about the place. At times, I can’t handle the spice. But the staff is very helpful and warm. They are courteous and attend the guests properly during peak hours when the place gets full and there is wait for a table. I highly recommend this place for these dosa, filter coffee, thali, pickles, wada, puri bhaji and so much more actually!! Their food is a journey back to Bangalore! Absolutely delectable!!
