“If you grew up eating chicken over rice at halal carts in the city only to go vegan later in life you've experienced the extreme disappointment that comes with ordering falafel over rice without white sauce. It's a tragedy and a reason never to visit a halal cart again. Not at Sam's. Here the falafel is king and the platter is a shrine to the balls of chickpea. The sides and sauces all pack a punch of flavor and keep you coming back for more. The guys who work the cart are really sweet too. These falafels occupy a place in my heart.“

They have the pastor tacos in the traditional rotating-roster, and they were delish! I also had an elote ? with everything, and a tiny bit of the powder-picante was enough for me to get a kick of spice in my mouth that turned on all the right taste buds! So when I walked around the corner to see the shiny metal caravan, on kitch fake grass, selling sandwiches, I was thrilled. Like, I haven't had skewers this good since hitting up that Michelin star Yakatori spot in the city (I do hope they still exist, its been a while).Admittedly, I've passed by him MANY times before making a purchase. I had the chicken tikka over yellow rice with white sauce and chimichurri and it was delicious. Flavors were fantastic and portion was great! I'll chalk it up to just ordering the wrong thing. Their tacos are amazing, their quesadillas are delicious (note that they serve both Mexican quesadillas & more Americanized quesadillas, I've only had the Mexican ones), and their homemade salsas are incredible!They have convenient hours and great customer service, even calling me when I forgot something in the store. The lechon is amazing juicy, the bacalauito is so good.... flavor and all perfect crunch, the tostones de panas so good nice crispy while soft inside the sauce that comes with it omg amazing flavor. They used to be closed at 7 but now are open to 8. We got meatball platter which comes with 4 meatballs and bread, ziti, chicken parm sandwich and 2 cannolis. Came to $44. The food was ready right away and the pick up was easy. Chicken parm had no cheese on it. Maybe that’s the way they make it but it’s weird to have a parm sandwhich without gooey mozzarella. The bread lacked flavor. The sauce was good. The meatballs are were good. They were big, plump, tasty. But nothing special. Ziti was a nice portion but it tasted like stinky cheese to me.The cannolis are huge!!! Filled with cream. Super crisp, yummy shell and the cream is rich, creamy and not too sweet. One had chocolate chips on it and the other didn’t. I guess I have to specify if I want chocolate chips or not. I actually liked the one without chocolate chips the best because it was just idk so creamy and I can focus on tasting the cream.I would come back here and try the soup since I hear it’s good, skip everything else and just get a million cannolis.“

“This taco truck feels a bit like a hidden gem. Came across it while wondering around the Wall St. area and gave some tacos a try. I tried a new type of taco that I never had before which was this goat barbaccoa (chivo), which was amazing and very flavorful. I can't recall any taco truck or brick-and-mortar that I've been too that offers this, so I felt that was very unique and will get me to come back. The Al Pastor was also pretty banging. Fresh, juicy with pineapple, and very flavorful. We got some Jarritos as well and they were really cold which was delightful on a hot summer day. This truck definitely exceeds expectations, I highly recommend hunting it down and giving it a shot.“
