“My wife and I absolutely love this place! We always have to go when we visit family in North NJ. The pizza is crisp and delicious. In my opinion, nothing beats the cheesesteak with SPK. It might be the best I’ve ever had. The employees are always super nice and transactions are always speedy to get back to my wife and kids in the car. This pizzeria is our favorite in Union County. 10/10

“I grew up in Central Upstate NY and have been looking for a pie similar to our regular pizzas. Thinner than Sicilian, thicker than regular crust in NJ, made in a pan and not greasy (I know, a lot to ask). I finally found it!! Most NJ pan pizzas, outside of Pizza Hut, seem paper thin and not what I was looking for though tasty. I ordered for the first time (Kenilworth) the Vodka pan pizza and it was so delicious! I see in reviews that many here call it deep dish (different than true crust of a deep dish), but it isn’t… The crust and sauce were fantastic. Next time I will add basil or try another. Delivery was less than 1 hr over lunch time. 👍 Also felt like it was cooked perfectly for me.“

The grilled octopus appetizer was delicious with the roasted peppers, olives and arugula-salad greens with a balsamic vinegar drizzle. The service was impeccable: we sat at the bar but servers and the bartender were very attentive, polite, and efficient. The food was delicious and quickly served given the busy Friday night. My only criticism is that they still use plastic straws instead of alternatives, like Phade or (a lesser favorite) paper straws.“

“Road the Amtrak transit into NJ to visit friends and stopped to get a bite to eat in the Bloomfield Center area. We chose the Six Points Pizza and it was delicious. We tried the momma's meatballs and the mushroom ricotta deep dish by the slice. It was covered in fresh dollops of ricotta and fresh basil pesto.

“Going to Massa is the shortest trip to Rome, Italy, one can take. The atmosphere, the owner, and the pizza, they are all 100% Italian! The pizza is in a class by itself; the crust is the best I have ever tasted.“

“First time visiting this gem after roaming the area for a good slice. I had them heat up a cheese, famous Giuseppe, and pepperoni slices. All were extremely delicious, thin, and crispy. Just the way I like it. I’m not quite sure what the crust from their special pies are but I LOVE it. The undercarriage is like a thin focaccia style bread. I sat down on the patio as well which kept me nice and cool throughout the experience. Oh and I got a complimentary drink for dining in!

Most importantly, Mr Jack Calandra served me (and my dog with two slices of raw pepperoni) and he was nothing but amazing to say the least. We got to chat a bit and he gave me quick story of how this spot and its specials pies.

“I love a good double Italian hotdog and the best place to get one is here! They have the freshest bread and the food just tastes incredible! They are reasonably priced and give you good portions.
