From coordinating calls, decorating our table, marrying us, to keeping us on schedule. Andre had our whole group raving about how great the food was. From the appetizers to the cake, we really couldn't have asked for better. On top of it all, the location is STUNNING! The staff helping to serve us were so friendly and pleasant and together they all helped make sure our wedding day was the best day of our life. “Stopped by Tranquility General Store after a hike, and it truly felt like enjoying a great meal in a small, rural American town.

I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich along with a crumb cake, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was easily one of the top five breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had… perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The crumb cake was the ideal sweet follow-up, soft and not overly sugary.

👥 Service:
The guys working there were really nice and welcoming, giving off that genuine small-town friendliness. Service was quick, casual, and made the experience even more enjoyable.

The shop has a rustic, intimate charm with a few cozy seats in the back. It’s a simple but comfortable space that fits perfectly with the laid-back countryside vibe.“

“We celebrated a milestone birthday in the dining area next to the terrace with delicious food and great service. The bar had a large selection of beer, wine had a dozen options, plus mixed drinks. The staff let me taste a couple beers before I chose one to go with my calamari appetizer which was very large and well prepared. I do think the standout appetizer was the tuna which had an amazing citrus flavor. For my main I had the sea bass while most of the others had streaks. I thought it was delicious and the rice delicious. Maybe a tad too much butter for me, but no complaints. I skipped desert but the chocolate cake and apple tarts looked amazing. Service was top notch, my water glass was consistently filled and the staff present but not too much so. A great late afternoon dining experience.“

“Nice bar restaurant at the end of a round. We were there on a Wednesday and it was empty. We order BBQ knowing that it was not going to be fresh as the grills were not going. That said the brisket and pulled port were still good. The sweet potato fries were good as well. Little crispy. We both should have order the bbq souce on the side. Too much on for our taste but we should have asked. Great bar with a large selection of whiskey and bourbon. Service was great too. I would go back. Like to see how it is when it’s fresh.“

“TLDR: Top tier brisket. Nearly as good as Texas brisket and certainly best I have had in New Jersey thus far. The hidden restaurant in the middle of a garden is so quaint and peaceful, I recommend going for lunch or a cozy dinner. View of the surrounding hills is also amazing.

Quality of Food: I had no complaints about the food. The garden salad was refreshing and did not lack in its flavor. The brisket was AMAZING. If you look at my other reviews, you will find I am originally from the south and have frequented a few BBQ places in New Jersey, all of which have fallen short of what I have come to find as quality BBQ. This. Did. Not. Disappoint. The brisket was slightly marbled and melted in your mouth. I can only imagine the quality of the Rib Steak if the brisket was top notch. The cornbread was the only thing I could say was standard taste and quality.

Quality of Service: It was neither over-the top nor mediocre service. Seemed like a decent amount of young adults were waiting on tables. We stopped in for a quick bite before heading to a festival, but we had no issues getting our order taken, food delivered and check processed quickly.

Environment & Ambiance: Can't be compared to the other locations at the resort. The garden by itself is adorable and makes you feel like you're in a storybook. Looking out towards the hills provides a feeling of awe. The outside ambiance and cute tables and chairs makes you feel like you're joining Alice at a tea party.

Pricing and Concerns: It's certainly not cheap if you are ordering their higher priced options. However, that being said, it is most definitely worth every penny. Not to mention you're at a resort, so what would you expect besides expensive dishes? For a party of two you can keep it under $$$. Add drinks or an extra person and you're going over. No other concerns to note.

“Just used cafe Pierrot to cater a sprinkle I was hosting. Everything was amazing! Placing the order was extremely easy- I sent an email and someone called me right away and quickly responded to any email questions I had. Everyone enjoyed the food and LOVED the cupcakes. Was able to pay in advance online so all I had to do was send someone for pick up the day of the party and everything was ready right away I think food is one of the hardest parts of planning a party. Never know what to get or how much. Being able to simply give them a number of guests and all I had to do was decide which type of salad I wanted, made this part of the party so simple and stress free! Love the one stop shopping aspect where I could get my food, sides, and even cupcakes all from one place. The spread they provide is the perfect mix and they provide the perfect amount, for an awesome price! Definitely recommend using them!!!“

“The Circle is a whole experience. The interior is decorated artfully. The staff were all very polite and attentive, our waitress was so sweet and very knowledgeable about the Chefs intentions as well as the dishes. The dishes were beyond phenomenal. “Last night we did the 7-course chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing at Restaurant Latour at Crystal Springs Resort. In my opinion, this is easily one of the best restaurants in Sussex County.

The wine pairings were very well done and thoughtfully matched to each course. You could tell a lot of effort went into balancing the flavors and overall experience. Some dishes were outstanding and really memorable, while others were good but did not have the same wow factor.

You can definitely see that the restaurant is striving for a Michelin-level dining experience. The presentation, creativity, and overall atmosphere are there, although there are still some areas that could be elevated further.

The setting was beautiful, especially watching the sunset during dinner. Pricing was about what you would expect for this type of experience.

The biggest thing holding the evening back was service staffing. The staff was polite and professional, but the dining room felt understaffed at times, which created gaps in service that took away from the overall flow of the evening.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience in Sussex County.“

Also, Melissa was the manager tonight and she was constantly around and available if we needed something when Marco was helping other tables. The team at this location works really well together so we’ll definitely be coming back.“

We get take-out sandwiches (breakfast and lunch primarily) fairly regularly from G&S.

I've only been disappointed once by a slightly stale sub roll, 99.9% of our sandwiches have been perfect, so the one roll was just a fluke.

We are ALWAYS satisfied by their terrific comfort food. I highly recommend G&S!“

They did not disappoint. The general manager, Alexis was a pleasure to work with, and was helpful with menu choices, and whatever additional asks I had. (A table area for a display, AV hook-up for a slide presentation, and complimentary drink “coupons” for my guests. “My husband and I have eaten here several times without each other. Last night we went on a date night. I had their seasonal cocktail the Pom fig which was delicious. My husband had one of their zero proof cocktails called A touch of the blues he liked it very much! We had their calamari appetizer which featured fried lemon slices and lemon curd it was a 10 out of 10 would definitely order that again! I had the Mediterranean Steak Bowl which was incredible to say the least perfect portions, all the flavors complimented each other. My husband opted for the tarragon cod entree he liked it and is looking forward to trying other dishes on their menu. We had a very nice conversation with both the general manager and the owner. “Love this place. It’s definitely one of the better restaurants/bars in the area. Not like some other restaurants in the area, that charge you a percentage to use your CC. Not only that one particular owner takes tip money away from waitresses because you used your CC. Could you imagine the owner taking tip money away, because a customer used a credit card.
