“The food was spectacular, the beef stir fry they have (which I was skeptical of when my family ordered, sounded good but sorta basic) was my favorite dish of this year and last year, it was sooooo good!!! It was incredibly flavorful and so tender. To top that off the owner was walking around the room, charming folks and checking in, all the service felt attentive but not invasive or overbearing, I felt incredibly respected and appreciated while there. I told them it was my parent’s wedding anniversary and they complimented them on it multiple times, all of the staff suddenly knew and they got a free appetizer to congratulate them. It really was a special experience from start to finish. I don’t go to a lot of fine dining but I expected the portions to be tiny and the atmosphere to be haughty, it was not! Very bubbly and fun atmosphere, good spacing between our table and others, the portions were perfect and the kitchen was a machine with cranking out spectacular dish after spectacular dish! I am moving out of town soon, but I would come back and eat here as a special event. It was really that good.My knowledge of Thai food is limited to pad Thai and Tom Yum, this experience has made me want to try more Thai food and branch out!“

“This place is just recently opened and received pretty good reviews, so I decided to try it out.everything we ordered was tasty with a generous portions, but the flavor was just too sweet for me and my boyfriend. I know Thai food is sweet, but this is another level of sweet. And the coconut noodle soup, it has no flavor and tasted so coconuty. It would have been better if they use rice noodle or glass noodle instead of vermicelli noodle. The ambience is plain, but it looks new and clean. The color of the building looks unattractive in my opinion.Service is good, but it takes awhile for the food to come out. They seem to be more busy with takeout orders.Overall, a decent Thai food with good portion and reasonable price. Tip: pay in CASH, you’ll get 5% off and they also accept Venmo.“

“Thai Dishes in Marlton, NJ is an unexpected GEM!I've been a huge fan of Thai Cuisine for over 40 years. I've traveled all over Thailand from Phuket in the south to Chiang Rai in the far north (I met an Opium farmer in a small village in the Golden Triangle!) I've traveled all over the United States and in every new city I search for the best Thai Restaurant I can find. I've probably been to more than 200 Thai restaurants in the United States, and many in Thailand, England and India. And I cook Thai food pretty often, myself -- UNTIL Thai Dishes opened in Marlton, NJ. Once I ate there I stopped cooking my own. I'm extremely lucky that it's less than 3 miles from my home! The atmosphere is clean and attractive. The service is always prompt and the food comes out quickly. The Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao (aka 'Drunken Noodles!") are always excellent. I'll upload a picture of their Pad Thai. I always ask for a little extra sauce because I love it that way. They are always happy to oblige. ENJOY!“

“An unassuming thai restoraunt in the middle of nowhere (at least to me as a visitor of the city). It was a small cozy resto with decent service and some lowkey décor. Gold coloured cups was a plus. Chicken skewers - White meat was dry, but the peanut sauce was really good. Pad see ew - pad see ew was tasty. The stirfried dish was seasoned well with lots of different flavour. It was only missing a bit of char, otherwise really good. Would recommend. Some decent food, but as a tourist to the city, I would not be coming back. There are other restos for me to try. “Diving into Golden Triangle unveils not just a meal, but a passport to a culinary expedition specializing in the Southeast Asian flavors of Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar. Tucked away in the heart of Philly, this humble gem offers an intimate escape to distant lands with its quiet, casual ambiance and a cozy dining room that boasts no more than eight tables. Our adventure began with the Malaysian classic, Roti Canai -- a delightfuly crispy, flaky, chewy marvel that serves as a prelude to the symphony of flavors awaiting us. Paired with a rich curry chicken potato dip, this dish was a standing ovation in the making. Then came the Sambal Shrimp, a bold ensemble of shrimp reveling in a spicy brown sauce, creating a festival of taste that had every fork in the room longing for an encore. The Beef Rendang, while a masterpiece of flavor and tenderness with its slow-cooked, aromatic curry, left us longing for a second act, as the disappointing portion size was more of a soliloquy than a full-fledged aria.Despite the small dining room, Golden Triangle played the perfect host to our group of six (including a baby car seat), accommodating us at their sole large table--a testament to their ability to harmonize space and service. While the Mee Goreng and Penang Char Kway Teow flavors were well balance and added depth to our culinary journey, both dishes lacked a bit of the smoky "wok hay" that I was yearning for. The Burmese Kimchi introduced a zestful twist to the meal as it was our first time trying any Burmese food, but it wasn't particularly memorable. In the end, the Roti Canai and Sambal Shrimp emerged as our favorites of the night.Overall, Golden Triangle is more than a dining destination; it's a quiet nook where flavors dance and diners are invited to a show that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the heart. With its intimate atmosphere and welcoming vibe, it stands out as a beacon for those seeking an immersive culinary experience in Center City. Here's to more explorations at this quaint culinary corner, where the world feels both vast and intimately close, all within the confines of its quiet, casual dining room.“

I also ordered the crabmeat fried rice...I was a little skeptical about this order as I don't like a lot of seafood but the flavor was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the calamari which was enjoyable as well. I appreciated the well plated presentationof the dishes. The servers were very pleasant and accommodating as well as attentive! I will definitely be back! The bathroom was very clean. I gave this 4 stars only because the tile ceiling in the dining area had stained tiles right in the middle of the serving area... Something that I would prefer not to have right where I'm eating. This may not even be there fault if they are renting the spot... But this is an easy fix. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.“

“Bhan Thai continues to impress with its cozy and comfortable atmosphere, although the recent relocation within the same mall area has led to a larger space that feels somewhat less intimate, but still pleasant. As a frequent visitor, albeit not an expert in Thai cuisine, I remain a big fan of their duck dishes, especially the crispy yet succulent duck, which is consistently well-prepared and never dry.During my latest visit, I ventured to try the Pad Thai with imitation duck. The dish struck a perfect balance in its spice levels, satisfying my palate without being overwhelming. The quality and taste of the food have commendably remained consistent over my visits.A notable highlight was the butternut squash soup. Served piping hot, its creamy texture and the harmonious blend of carrots, butternut squash, celery, and black pepper created a delightful culinary experience. However, it's worth noting for vegans that this soup does contain cream. The restaurant's take-out service also seems to be popular among customers, adding to its appeal. Whether you're dining alone or with a group of six, the accommodating and friendly service enhances the overall experience.Bhan Thai remains a solid choice for Thai cuisine enthusiasts, maintaining a strong 4-star rating out of 5 in my book. “This is an update on my past takeout experience. It's usually bustling here weekends and late nights and but I managed to get a pleasant server with my own table on a Sunday evening by chance. The food is always good and affordable with a great selection of dishes but not the usual overwhelming menu which I appreciate. The green curry dish and Tom yum soup are my favorites as well as special Thai noodle dishes and of course their house 3 course fried (or boiled) chicken with ginger rice and radish side soup. So affordably priced and great for lunch or supper, but do expect a wait to be seated - it's a small local joint but mixed crowd. Only street parking on busy Race Street between 9th & 10th!“

“I ordered the Philly roll, salmon roll, and tuna roll. Portions of fish in the rolls were decent. Some a little better than others. The Chinese pizza/scallion pancake is tasty but on the crunchier side. The miso soup was good but mostly broth, not a lot of tofu. Would order again.“

“We called before we came because it was Friday night and we were afraid that there might be a long wait time, they told us to come on over. We were sat immediately. Our orders were taken quickly and the appetizer came quick. We ordered the crispy vegetable spring rolls, honey wings and steamed chicken dumplings. They were all delicious. We also had the general tso which was spicy but not too spicy and yummy. We also had the chicken fried rice, shrimp and broccoli and the chicken and broccoli. They were all seasoned well and very tasty.Kid-friendliness: My daughter ordered the California roll without the crab stick and avocado, so she had a cucumber roll which wasn’t on the menu but the very kind lady waiter said no problem and they brought her out a cucumber roll. I really appreciated that.“

“I got the pad thai and absolutely love it. I have had good pad thai a few times and have to say this is up there with the top experiences. I got the Singapore mei fun for my father and he said it was good. The boneless spare ribs were tasty but a bit over cooked and was a bit too burnt. Which is a shame because it had a good flavor. The drunken noodles had a good flavor as well, but the noodles had a strange texture. They were not the chewy noodles we were used to. If it just had the noodles we were expecting it would have been perfect. I'm going to try them again soon and hope it was an off day. The flavor was on point and was worth it.“

“I always enjoy my visits to Sanook Thai. The food is absolutely wonderful, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. It's a restaurant where you can talk and not noisy like a lot of restaurants. The outdoor patio is lovely in warm months. The back dining room is nice if you have a small group...perhaps up to 10. I definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant.Vegetarian options: Most dishes have the option for tofu as the protein choice“
