I literally will gladly take that 16 minute drive any day. Edit: ordered again today, got the same bowl but with brown rice due to diabetes, was SUPER GOOD. Will never complain !“

“Loved this place. This place was packed and I was so lucky to have a reservation for my date. We loved the food, not even lying when I tell you it was the freshest sushi I’ve had in a while. We went on the 17th and it was super busy, the staff worked so hard and still made us feel so welcomed.“

“We've been looking for a great Thai restaurant for years. This place is a gem! Drunken Noodles and Tom Yum were top notch. It was my wife's birthday and she jokingly said she just wanted Drunken Noodles with a candle in it, so when we went, I quietly asked if they had a candle to put in it as a gag. They went over the top, like a noodle birthday cake and played Happy Birthday. Her eyes lit up and she loved it. They have us for customers for life.“

“I really enjoyed the kimchi dolsot rice. I found that in other restaurants it can be very greasy even without any meat. So I wasn’t keen on having it with the beef options. Seeing that they had a mushroom dolsot rice version, I asked them if they can add mushrooms to the kimchi rice and they did 🎉!

This one was not greasy and the button and shiitake mushrooms were a great addition. I thoroughly enjoyed it and then had the rest for dinner as the portions are large. 😋

“we ordered delivery from Asian chef tonight, and when I got my order (bento box with salmon teriyaki, rice, shrimp shumai, and cucumber avocado roll). Instead of salmon, I ended up receiving shrimp teriyaki. I wasn’t going to call but I figured I may as well just let them know- the employee who answered the phone was so nice and apologetic, and immediately offered to bring me the correct protein that I ordered. I accepted the offer and asked if he wanted me to return the untouched shrimp order, but he said to keep it! then, I expected them to just deliver me the salmon to add to the meal, but they brought me an ENTIRE other bento box with the salmon! I was so shocked! not only that, but they also returned the cash to make up the difference in price on the order. they did NOT have to do that, but it shows so much about their restaurant. we also ordered some sushi, drunken noodles, and a seaweed salad and it did not disappoint at all. we will be ordering from asian chef again soon thanks to their kindness, and their excellent quality food!!“

Last night, I decided to order take out and try something other than my usual: shrimp and eggs and got spicy cabbage, chicken with mixed vegetables, and mapo tofu. I was not disappointed. The cabbage had a nice kick, the mapo tofu was packed full of numbing flavor, and the chicken with mixed vegetables was equally as good. As I was digging in, I checked my credit card bill and thought they charged me the wrong amount. I called them immediately and despite it being in the middle of rush hour service on Saturday, they wanted to genuinely look into it despite seeing on their end that I was charged the correct amount. I spoke to the manager and he asked me to send him a screen shot which I did. I looked into it further and realized I was looking at the wrong line and immediately called them to let them know to disregard everything. They were in the middle of investigating when I called and were relieved when I apologized profusely and told them to stop looking, it was an error on my part. Not once did I hear an inflection of annoyance during this whole process, but I was treated like a valued regular customer. Try it. They have the best Chinese food in the area.“

“I came into the Shop today with a few friends for lunch. We found the prices good for the portions, the shop itself a little small but not cramped, and the decor pretty modern-minimalist. The dumplings were tasty (try the duck!), but my steamed and seared dumplings were a little softer than I'd hoped- not the end of the world. My friends got fried ones and they were light gold and crisp but not crunchy, and that will be the way to go. The containers the food comes in look great for takeout, and the dining area was clean. Hands-off ordering means those with social anxiety have nothing to fear here. A solid choice for the price, and some tasty lunch offerings.“

We ordered Steamed Dumpling 10/10, Pizza Roll 10/10, Fried Chicken Wings 10/10 (cooked perfectly and crispy just like we like it), Steamed Chicken W/ White Rice 10/10 & Brown Sauce, and egg roll, and was able to use a coupon for some really good & tasty Cheese Wontons. All the food was delicious, cooked through, flavorful, (and there wasnt even an after taste if anything we tasted all flavors from the seasonings and food itself) and was enough to have lunch for tomorrow. What we both enjoyed the most was that all the fried food we bought weren't smothered in grease. We are literally abandoning our old take out for this place plus its not out of the way from work or home.“

There are plenty of meat & slaw & topping options to customise your meal, and the employees have all been super friendly and attentive every time I've visited. I like to get a bowl with bulgogi, gochujang, and a poached egg for some extra flavor. (Do note that the bulgogi & poached egg options cost extra on top of the initial purchase.) As far as drinks, they have an assortment of water, Mexican soda, and kombucha. Overall, it's now my favorite fast-casual rice bowl in the city!“
