“The food??? AMAZING!! The chicken wings got so much flavor and the rice is perfectly seasoned not too much not too little. Now my favorite thing??? That shrimp tempura poke bowl is AMAZINGGG. I literally will gladly take that 16 minute drive any day. Edit: ordered again today, got the same bowl but with brown rice due to diabetes, was SUPER GOOD. Will never complain !“

Got the Chef's choice sushi and tuna/aji sushi and every piece was amazing and so fresh. Also got the spicy tuna crispy rice (don't have a photo) but would skip this next time, it just doesn't travel well. Can't wait to try Shiso in person!“

The salmon lover's sushi entree is my go-to and is accompanied by a salad and soup. “I came here to eat with my girlfriend, and we also ordered takeout a different day. We both agreed this is the best sushi we had so far here in the city. Lived here for 5 years, and the sushi and sashimi here are great and taste fresh. The takoyaki unfortunately was very cold when we got it, but I understand it's takeout and would be better in the restaurant. Definitely give this place a try.“

“My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new in the Northern Liberty area as we frequent the area quite a bit, and decided to give Yanaga a try. After just one dine in experience, it's become one of our new favorite spots to eat, and it's definitely on the restaurant rotation for when we go out to eat!

The place is very decked out with anime stickers, manga panels, and the like, while also playing different kinds of anime on the TVs they have on premise. I really recommend the spot, for just the food alone even if you don't like anime.“

I ordered the mushroom gyoza (steamed), crispy rice, single sashimi, treasure roll, and crispy chocolate wonton.

I would definitely come back and get the mushroom gyoza again. If you love mushroom, definitely order this! The crispy rice was also amazing.
All the fish melted in your mouth. The chocolate wonton wasn’t my favorite but it was an innovative concept and nice to try something new.“

“Went here as part of a food tour, so just had small bites, but everything was so good! Tried some sushi, a unique take on edamame that was roasted/grilled, and crispy tofu - all delicious! And the staff was so warm and friendly. Would recommend.“

I don’t know how or why it was so good but it was and I felt compelled to leave a review. Tiny out of the way place which was cozy, sushi and sashimi were excellent and fresh, spicy miso ramen was unbelievable!! Portions were large as well so come hungry!! “If it’s your first omakase experience then you’ll like it. If you’ve had more expensive omakase before, then this one doesn’t really have the same experience factor. The quality of the fish was good but it was fast(less than 1h) and felt rushed. The sushi chef didn’t really explain anything other than state the obvious name of the fish. But it’s good for the price.“

“Well, let’s start off with the fact that the food here is amazing, so far, every single time I’ve eaten the ramen here with my girlfriend, we both were in for an amazing treat, the ramen is delicious and the broth is flavorful, and we also have gotten onigiri and spam masubi, both of which were also delicious, and the place and atmosphere are very cute and very cozy, not only that, the service here is often very friendly and sweet and welcoming, and they seem to really care about their customers and their experience, highly recommend! 10/10“

Our server, Michelle, was great. We had tge seared pepper tuna sushi app - so fresh and delicious. My husband had the hibachi with filet and lobster - amazing too. My son had the combo udon noodles - ate every bite! We had the tempura banana dessert - delicious as well as the chocolate mousse cake and coppa cafe. Amy at the front desk was so gracious and sweet. “We visited Kura Revolving Sushi Bar on a Friday during dinner time, and it was definitely busy, but the wait line moved surprisingly fast. The restaurant was clean and had a very interesting setup. It took us a few minutes to figure out how the food belt system worked, but once we got the hang of it, it was fun and unique! We tried sushi and some sushi wraps – the food was fresh and tasty, though the portions were small for the price. Overall, it’s a cool experience, but it can be a bit pricey. Worth a visit for the novelty!“

“I ordered several party trays from Tokyo Sushi and it was an amazing experience.
Everything was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. As soon as I put the trays out, everyone was impressed!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there were so many great options to choose from. Everyone at the party found something they loved, and the vegetarian options were especially well done and thoughtfully prepared, which I really appreciated.

We have been coming to this location for many years and have never had an issue.
Service - Always on time and amazing, friendly, inviting.
Atmosphere - Authentic, quiet, peaceful and welcoming.
Food - Always consistent and delicious. Just look at the photos and videos and know that it tastes just as good.

“I ordered take out. I was super hungry and I was hopeful that this would be perfect to curb my appetite. When my food arrived, I was disappointed by the portion size (6 pieces) and filling (very little fish) of the Philly Roll. I tried to include better photos but my app timed out while attending to the kiddos. womp womp. I really enjoyed the Pork Dumpling (6) but was slightly uncomfortable with the presentation/packaging; the dumplings were sitting on a paper doily soaking up the condensation which can be both off putting and beneficial. The Exotic Bomba was delicious and perfect for sharing (says 6 servings but I would say about 2, maybe 3). The flavor of these thing were great but there could have been improvements to this order.
