“Booskerdoo Middletown donated hot chocolate for our local elementary school holiday event. It was such a hit! The kids loved the cocoa (peppermint and regular, mmmm) and it added such a special touch to the PTO organized family evening. Booskerdoo in general is great, but the Middletown location takes it a step beyond with their generosity, kind service, and personal touch from Jeff, the owner, who is almost always there making sure everything is running smoothly! You won’t get this type of caring and desire to be a part of the local community from just any coffee spot!

“I love Odyssey Coffee in its new location on Main Street. Decorated with pages from its namesake, Homer's Odyssey, Odyssey Coffee has superb coffee and nice baked goods. Ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Beautiful light-filled spaces. I also love the Odyssey Vault, evidence of this place once having been a bank, where local artists can show their work.“

The silverware is not clean and the tables and floors are not clean. The tables nearby remain uncleared for the duration of our dining. My first time in there, I didn’t know what to get and explained to the gentleman behind the counter, Matt , that I like nutty, sweet and caramel latte type of drinks. He suggested their pistachio shortbread latte, and it was amazing. I definitely would not have thought to try that without his recommendation. “My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose The French Market for Rumson, our 108th town.

This beautiful cafe is decorated in a chic manner for atmosphere. It makes a great backdrop for your Instagram pictures.

It is mostly designed for takeout, where all orders are taken at the counter. They have a limited number of tables to eat in the well-decorated space. However, all food is served in cardboard takeout boxes with plastic utensils, much like Chinese food. (That's not very French, and not very cafe-like either.) Given the way the cafe is decorated for folks who eat in, and in a well-to-do town like Rumson, I would have expected the option to eat on regular plates w/silverware.

With that being said... the food was EXCELLENT! We both got crepes. One with egg, ham, & swiss, and the other with egg, spinach, & feta. We shared an order of French toast which was made with brioche bread. The crepes were served on a bed of salad, and the French toast was accompanied by a fruit cup.

The cafe also has a selection of pastries and cheeses. We did not try any of these, but they looked good.

If you're looking for crepes-to-go to satisfy your itch for brunch, the French Market should be on your list.“

“I was in the market for a new coffee machine with timer settings and the ability to make a very good, consistent pot of coffee. I called 1st In Coffee and spoke to their customer service department and was given multiple choices of what I could purchase. I picked one and received it the next business day via UPS. It was a piece of cake to set up and it worked perfectly and did exactly what I wanted. I was very happy with the service I received and would definitely do business with these guys again.“

“A suggestion. Middletown had to be closed due to it not being financially viable. As a daily coffee drinker and supporter of local business, I can tell you the sole reason why people choose Rook, Starbucks etc. over Booskerdoo. Your prices. A 24 oz flavored
iced latte with alternative milk is $8 and that's without tipping. That is insanity. The average person can't afford that.The largest starbucks drink with alternative milk is $7 (still pricey) and the largest Rook drink (cold brew,alternative milk) is between $5 and $6. That leaves room for tip and a reason to return frequently.“

“Incredible all around!!! We came in the middle of the week in the middle of May (cold week) so there wasn't a large crowd. We met Jennifer who is the perfect fit for this establishment. The menu is exciting (And I'm a meat guy) filled with fresh breads fresh spices, cheeses, and crispy salads. Food came out so fast. Place is so quaint and they worked hard to bring out that grandma's kitchen of the 70's and 80's. We went there everyday of our stay (walked there to offset the calories)

Parking: There is immediate parking in front, but this is a Large parking plaza (conveniently shared with Bay Shore Pharmacy, FoodTown Supermarket, Pomodoro Rosso Pizza, a dry cleaner, a liquor store and A sub shop) so you will always find parking near by.“
