“I ordered oxtail with rice and peas and mac&cheese the oxtails are 9.5/10 only because it’s fatty but I really love the flavor the mac&cheese is a 7/10 I think it could use some more flavor but it got the right amount of cheese it just need more seasoning and the service was 10/10 got here fast“

“I’m so happy I came across this Jamaican restaurant! Every dish here is freshly prepared. Not sure who the chef is here, but give that man a raise! Lol….authentic Jamaican food is definitely a big plus for this location. They give you many options aside from their famous rice and peas with a side of chicken. They also have a variety of soups on their menu. Their prices are very fair and for that reason I will definitely be back, and this time for some good ol’ oxtails! The establishment is very clean, and the staff is very polite. Only bad thing I can say is, why didn’t I come here sooner!!!! Guys keep up the great work. You’ve gained a repeat customer. “Wow! I am from Brooklyn NY and moved to Jersey recently and this spot is the closest to Brooklyn NY Jamaican food. I've been to so many west Indian spots in East Orange and Newark and it's been horrible. Brooklyn NY has the best Jamaician food but now this spot takes the crown! ( I had the breakfast)“

“This place has in this town for 28 years, there is a reason why they have been around so long. The owner is this wonderful sweet lady that, she is definitely Jamaican be a those Pattie’s hit different. The oxtails are succulent and falls off the bones, the plantain’s are sweet and crispy on the edges. If you’re looking for delicious Jamaica food go here, always call before you go because she starts cooking in the morning and at times the food isn’t ready until after 12pm but it’s very much worth the wait. ????The prices are very reasonable but those Pattie’s are to die for.“

A medium plate of jerk chicken, rice and collard greens cost me about $18, but you can tell by the long lines that the food is worth it. The pair are patient and friendly. “I love this place. The food is always hot and fresh. Every time I have come to this restaurant I was pleased with the food served. The part that keeps me coming back is not just the food. One morning, I got there at the time of opening. There was a woman praying and she would not open that door til she finished her prayer. Then she proceeded to wipe the place down with Florida. I am not Christian but, I respect that highly. This restaurant is also extremely clean. No matter what time I come into this restaurant, it is always clean. Always.
